Geet was about to climb the step ..when she found herself dizzy and collapsed…

Naina immediately called doctor and took geet to her room…..

the doctor announced that geet was expecting and dressed her wound.. she had taken her multivitamin injection so that she should gain her concious soon ….

The doctor was their family doctor ..

Naina immediately informed raj and maan's daadima… but the real shock was coming for the two lives who were having a fruit of an unwanted night… geet was shocked she was not in her senses her life was changed within these two months she looked at her self she was hating the feel of him that she still feels inside her..her eyes were blank.. she was an expectant mother but the real glow that should be there on her face was missing instead a fear was growing inside her … her eyes were closed she had listened to the doctors words which were now pricking her soul…

YOUR DAUGHTER IS LAW IS PREGNANT….

Her senses betrayed her ..she touched her stomach with the fear her hands were shivering…she didn't want to face anyone..her eyes were watery the misted eyes were blocking her view..she wanted peace she wanted solace of having a love in her not something that she loathes .. she hates it ..the baby was reminding her of the of that mean night..when she lost herself to him…she wanted to cry out loud…she opened her eyes only to see her mother in law caressing her head … she was smiling and was patting her hair…

Naina was elated by the news she was having no doubt till now that they ( maan and geet ) were having a comfortable relation since she never saw them together …they hardly talks with each other but now her doubts were getting fade … if geet was having a baby that means that their relation was progressing and the baby would strengten it further more …..

Naina: beta aap theek hai na… jeete rahiye… aapke dad aur vicky sunege toh bahut khush honge.. bas maan yahan hota.. aap jaanti hai wo kab aayega..she asked politely….

Geet didn't said anything instaed she lept in naina's arms and burst out crying loudly she couldn't help but she was not in a postion to celebrate this new arrival..her baby was not her love it was his lust that he show her that night…it was his deed his meanness that she was carrying….her sobs were light but the intensity of those tears were making naina weak she was sobbing endlessly..naina didn't know how to calm her…

Naina was getting disturbed seeing geet's behavior she was getting suspicious now … there was something that she was missing..since maan was not there maybe she is fearing maan's reaction that made her burst out crying …. So she asked politely…..

Naina: arent you happy with the news geet… is there something you are hiding..she asked in an affectionate manner ..

Geet was just staring at her mother in law.. the concern and love she was showering on her made her to open … she wanted to tell her the deeds of her son …geet looked at naina there was worry , fear in her eyes for her daughter in law..she had always seen her as her won daughter … geet was sobbing silently..her head was resting in naina's lap she was patting her head… geet wanted to tell her everything..she once gathered all the courage and tried to get up … when she was again feeling dizzy…. Seeing her condition ..even naina suggested that she should take care….

Naina wiped her tears..geet was all the time looking down..she was feeling disgusted of her self… naina made geet to look at her….and again asked her..she was suspecting that may be geet was not ready for the responsibility of a child ..or whether maan's reaction she was scaring….

Naina: geet rona band kijiye.. bataiye hume kya hua hai..she made her to look into her eyes…. Aapke aur maan ke beech me sab theek hai na…aap dono ka koi jagda hua hai… koi aur baat… beta dariye mat bataiye kya baat hai..is tarah rone se kya hoga… kya mehsoos kar rahi hai aap..bataiye…. geet gave no reply..she was actually feeling very restless and cold..there was an anxiety and an apprehension in her to tell the truth of their relation….

Geet weakly smiled seeing naina's concern … she looked at the concern and the trouble her tears were creating to her mother in law… she was having a genuine unease seeing geet crying… geet let herself calm and looked at naina…. She politely answered ..almost hiding her pain and distress in her almost eyes…

Geet: maa wo.. main theek hun..wo achanak se… she was stuttering in her words… geet was still in shock and know she was hiding the truth from the family..she knew that either if she tells the mean truth of her and maan's relation then the nasty and callous reality will destroy the bond of them..and she didn't want this to happen… even though if it mean that she will have to bear all the pain and agony alone but if this way saves the shattering of many lives related to them then this will be the ultimate truth….

Geet hug naina..she just wanted to absorb herself in the motherly warmth for now… she was feeling an unknown satisfaction in her ..though she didn't wanted to feel but still a mother In her wanted to make sure know that even if she didn't want the baby but it is fine and safe….

Geet assured naina…

Geet: ma..i am fine..wo bas pata nahi kyun… I couldn't stop my tears…

She was again teary…

Naina made her relax..and asked her not to stress….

Naina: aap aaram kijiye and don't stress… main kuch bejhti hun aapke liye… she made her lie down and covered her with the duvet and left the room….

UNEASINESS AND AGITATION.. was killing geet..her eyes were on the wedding photograph that he actually hanged in their room… they were looking good with each other many of their relatives and his cousins have said that..they complement each other..geet looked at the empty side of the bed where he sleeps… she never had slept on this bed..she could n't even stand his close proximity … she always get sacred and everytime tried to run away from him…. His eyes that always shows a warm and knowing emotion always confuse her… from the day they were married maan never took a step forward for their relation… she never saw him hiding anything from family..he was a prefct son..a perfect and doting brother..but she failed to notice the guilt in his eyes..the guilt of failing as a lover..failing as a husband… maan had always tried to make her comfortable by not showing his presence..it occurred two three times that he saw her repulsive nature to his touch and from that day he never showed any advancement in his relation..in their relation…they were happy to be aloof and that way both were comfortable….

Geet was feeling uneasy she immediately rushed to washrrom..she was feeling weak.. she looked at her image in the mirror.. she was married… the symbols of being married that she adorns were on her ..this way she shouldnot be having any fear about the child..it was his child only why was she fearing his reaction she questions herself….

From the day they were married geet was confused and was lost in the divereted mind…..

First she expected maan to claim her ..but he didn't even touched her..she didn't believe that she was staying with him under one roof..they hardly talks never even goes out except it is necessary for the family .. just once they had gone out that too on family's insistance…

Now when she was well adjusted with him , his indifference her fears and the family she was worrying about his reaction on being having a child….

Geet was having conflicting mind and feelings…she looked at her image which was hazy due to the water droplets… she for once wanted to touch her stomach to feel the new life that was breathing in her…. But the amount of courage and nerve that she wantedto overcome the night and his fear was still she couldn't get……

She with heavy steps came out and geet sunked in the corner …

She was loathing her presence … if she wasn't here then she wouldn't have to hate her baby…a mother in her was crying the hatred that she possess for maan was making her feel that the baby was unwanted and know she couldn't help it..if he will want this child then she wont be able to do anything….

Geet: why life always test me she was battered she glanced at her self looking down at the place her stomach where it was .. Geet very slowly caressed the place which had marked her with a commencement of a new agony that was now imposed on her..

geet looked at her hands which her shivering with d feel of a new life that she was carrying ..

loud sobs erupted from her throat she cried herself in the loneliness

"i dont want this.. Nahi chahiye mujhe bacha nahi chahiye.."

Her tears were depicting the emotional and physical turmoil she was going through one side it was the agony of hating her child..and the other side was MAAN whom she hates and know his fear and his decision she was dreading…..
