PART 38

Vicky was just not shocked but his heart ached seeing his brother struggling for life while his baby Geet sitting as if she was dead. He was informed by Prem to just reach the hospital without making it obvious to others and the moment he came to know the reason he was broken. Prem was forced to tell Vicky the whole truth and for once he was angry on Geet but seeing her state he could not even blame her. Prem just had told him about the cottage incident and nothing else and Vicky insisted to inform others but Prem knew tat informing at home would lead the news to be leaked and he could take the risk at this moment. He asked Vicky to go back and inform others tat he, Annie, Maan and Geet are out for a vacation and not to say anything about this to anyone while Khan Saab would be with the family. Vicky was not ready to listen but Prem had to convince him and Khan Saab did the rest.

Prem was very much tensed as he had to be sure about tat Dev does not get any information about Maan being injured and he had also make sure tat their plan was going smoothly. Their next step still had time to be implemented and so Prem could concentrate on Maan right now as Dev would be busy in thinking about saving his business still he asked Khan Saab to keep an eye on Dev as he could not take any risk and here Maan struggling for life could be a safe way for Dev. It had been hours now and there was no word from the doctors about Maan. Prem tried ways to get hold of the doctor but he failed each time and every passing second was only increasing his fear for loosing Maan and anger on Geet. He could not even hurt her more as he knew even though he was his brother she always belonged to the person who was dying inside. He was helpless and his helpless was such tat nor he could do something for Maan nor could he hit his sister more. Annie was not less, she was torn from all sides as she was failing each time she tried to bring Geet back. It had been almost 6 hours now and there was no response from Geet, she just sat there at one lone corner and her eyes fixed on the door of the OT.

The wait was finally over for Prem but the words from doctors shook him to death.

Doctor: Mr. Handa, m sorry but he is sinking. Mr. Khuranna is not at all responding to the treatment even after flushing all the poison out from his body.

Prem: I did warn you doctor.

Doctor: I had said earlier tat he has lost too much of blood and the biggest reason is tat he is not responding to anything. I request you to inform the family. May be he just has few minutes with him now.

Prem shook the doctor holding his collar while Annie came running to pull Prem apart but seeing his red anger filled eyes she moved away.

Prem: Few minutes are wat you have doctor. Just few minutes and you and your hospital will be nowhere to be seen. Do you get.

Doctor: Mr. Handa you are crossing your limits now. Don't forget tat it's a pure suicide case. If I want I can sue you for your rude behavior, but I wont so just do as I say.

The doctor slowly jerked Prem's hand from him and moved away patting his shoulder knowing tat it was a bad phase for him. Annie tried to come closer but Prem just moved away from there. How could he just do wat doctor says. Wat would he tell the family tat their Maan is no more and wat reason he would tell them tat the girl whom he loved was the sole reason for his destruction. Annie saw him moving and she ran after him totally forgetting about Geet who slowly slipped inside the OT.

Though the doctors had declared tat he was sinking, they still tried their best and tats when they saw a petite figure entering the OT disturbing them. The nurses tried to push her out but she just kept moving inside. One of them who was angry on her came and started to drag her but Geet strongly jerked her hand still moving closer. Everyone inside the OT was angry and shocked to see her not even reacting to them but had her eyes on Maan. Geet pushed each and everyone as if she was just too strong for them. Her eyes fixed on Maan and the moment she reached near him she just kept gaping at his body. They were neither tears nor any expressions but her eyes held him, her eyes wanted to touch his soul which was very far away from her. Her eyes tried to pierce through his body trying to search his soul which was hers but they could find. The nurses tried to pull and drag her but they could not even move her inch while she pushed each and everyone away, finally letting her sit there while the doctors just waited for her to leave. Geet moved a bit closer and placed her lips on his while her hand traced his chest finding his heart which was hers yet she could not find but wat surprised the doctors was there was a bit beep sound which hardly could reach anyone's ears. Geet moved closer pushing the nurses away who were standing behind her. She placed several kisses on his face his chest while her hand roaming all over his body trying to find his soul. She did not even care tat his body had cuts and stitches at places. She did not care tat it would pain as she was busy searching his heart and soul which belonged to her.

Finally, Geet slept on his injured body hugging him tight while Maan even though unconscious almost dead with dripping heart beats his hands wrapped her tightly gluing her to his body, with each passing second the grip only tightened showing a difference in his heartbeats making the doctors shocked as few seconds ago there was no response and here now his heart was pacing at a much higher rate making them to pull Geet, making his grip tighter on her petite frame. The more they pulled the more she was held tighter by Maan yet his eyes were closed and his body reacting to the force the nurses and doctors applying to pull Geet away from him. His body shaking with anger while his pressure on the grip increasing making the whole bed to shake. The doctors still tried to pull Geet to monitor his heart and the moment they were successful in pulling Geet slightly the doctors and nurses shivered the way his hand pushed them away. His body and hand were so wild tat it just threw watever was in its way, shocking everyone to bits as his eyes were still closed but his body, mind and heart reacting in the wildest way.

Maan who was in deep sleep but he could feel her, and the moment he felt her he could feel tat someone was taking her away and this made him wild even in his deep sleep. His grip tightened pulling Geet more into him. Geet was so lost in him tat she did not even feel the pain while Maan just kept pulling her and in a second his eyes were wild open staring at the people around him. His heart and mind did not let him to see where he was and next moment he pounced on each single person pushing and hurting them in wat ever way he could keeping his hold tight on Geet. He damaged all the machines while he pulled wat ever he could feel in on his body rather than his Geet. His anger and his obsession did not let him think anything else making him the most dangerous lover right now. His weakened body had gained the power and energy to save his Geet as he felt tat they would hurt her again. He moved out of the OT almost killing everyone who tried to stop him making sure tat Geet was still with him. His stitches were opened while blood dripped from the cuts yet there was no pain. He moved carrying a lost Geet in him who still was trying to feel his soul and heart scaring the people around who came into his view. His eyes showed anger while his body, heart and mind ready to kill anyone who dared to come closer. His mind and heart totally unaware wat had happened as now they only wanted to protect his love, protect his Jaan, his Geet from them. He walked through the corridors while his cuts bleed horrifying everyone and the moment Prem and Annie saw him they stood rooted at the place seeing the dreadful sight in front f their eyes. They could not believe tat the person who was almost declared dead was standing all red in blood holding his love tight in his arms. Annie held Prem piercing his skin with her nails bringing him out of his nightmare. He blinked his eyes in happiness but soon he was shocked to see him in tat state. Prem ran closer pushing Annie and the moment he was Maan just said in anger shocking Prem again.

Maan: get the car…. They will hurt her… he will hurt her…. I just need to save her… Get the car Prem…. Just get it….

Prem just could not digest nor believe his ears and eyes wat Maan said. How could he be so insane tat he had just forgot wat happened. He tried to reason but Maan just moved from him asking him to get the car. Prem could not think anything else and just followed Maan pulling Annie with him. As soon as Prem reached near the car, Maan grabbed the keys and sat on the driver's seat with Geet still in his arms. He settled a lost Geet in his lap making his view for driving clear which made Prem and Annie shocked and worried as they could just not do anything right now. Maan drew the car so fast and rash as if he was the only driver on the busy road. Prem tried to stop him but Maan just glared at him in anger from the rearview mirror.

Prem: Maan….. you are hurt… Maan stop the car…

Maan: sshhh…. Don't say a word….

Tat was enough for Prem to keep quite. He just watched Maan driving while Geet still roaming her hands on his injured body with her bloodied hands. She was so lost tat she did not even know tat Maan was all awoke and was with her. She was just in the words tat the doctor had said and now they clouded her mind, heart and soul.

Prem and Annie were more than shocked or say they were speechless to say anything when they realized tat Maan had brought them to their now burnt cottage and the moment they saw Maan moving out of the car they feared his reaction seeing tat burnt cottage and it was exactly the way they thought. Maan walked a bit closer towards the cottage still lost in his anger and fear looking at his Geet who was lost in him and the moment his eyes fell on the burnt cottage he stood shocked and broken seeing tat their paradise was all turned into ashes. His grip on Geet tightened fearing tat someone did try to burn their paradise but it was not long tat he remembered everything. Prem came running behind and touched his shoulder and the moment he did his grip on Geet loosened making her fall down on the ground bring her back into the real world. Her eyes looked up and the moment she saw her Maan she stood cupping his face and kissing him all over feeling him with all pain and love but failed to see tat he was not responding to her as his eyes were fixed on the paradise with was now into ashes. Prem and Annie just stood watching them. Geet placed her lips on his and the moment he felt them his eyes widen in fear remembering wat she had done when he touched her. His eyes for a second closed but next second she was thrown away from him and his proximity making her look at him with pain. She tried to inch closer but he move behind still holding her in his eyes accusing her for killing him.

Geet: Maan….

Maan just raised his finger stopping her from saying further while Prem tried to support him.

Geet: Sorry…. M…. sorry…

Maan moved out from there not even hearing wat she was saying. His reached the car, taking his seat he drew once again into the busy roads going far away from her while she stood with tears in her eyes.
