when i was younger i would translate word for word...but when i got olser i would just translate the meaning (interpret)...in the US there is a whole generation of kids who had to become translators/interpreters at very young ages...its a fenomenon😆...there was even a movy about it called "spanglish"...where the hero and the heroen are having a fight...he in english and her in spanish...so the heroens daughter had to translate word for word for each...and at one point the mother curses in spanish and the daughter translates the curse in english ...and both hero and heroen pause and look at the daughter because she just cursed 😆...your mom is very smart😆
