"Geet beta.. khaaiye na. Why are you so quite Beta!'' Dadi spoke looking her sitting so silent with a full plate before her on the dinning table.
Geet looked Dadi. She was really not in mood of having anything. She was scaring with upcoming when Maan will return and find her here. Food was the last thing she wanted to gulp down. "Dadima I'm really not want to eat.. I'm not feeling hungry. Sachhii..''
"Geet I can understand Beta in what situation you're facing now is very difficult to handle. But Beta ase kase chlega.. you will have to take care of yourself also na. And why are you worrying!! If Maan knows you he must have known your husband , your family too. Aap dekhiyega.. kase fauran se wo sab thik kar denge!!'' She tried to cheer her up on which Geet smiled, nodded and took a bite to eat which she was doing only to show this sweet elder lady. "Dadima wont you eat?'' She paused her bite in air and asked.
"I will wait for Maan. Pahle wo aa jaaye then I'll eat with him''
"Then I'll too eat after his coming back'' She kept bite back in plate.
"No Beta why you...''
"Please Dadi..let me wait for him too'' a plead was not very visible in her voice but it was her heart demand to eat after him or at least , with him. Dadi finally agreed. "I see where is he'' She dialed Maan number. Maan was driving when saw Dadi call was flashing. He did not want to talk anyone so canceled it. "Phone kyu cut kar diya?'' Dadi spoke in little confusion.
"What happened Dadi??''
"Nothing Beta he must be busy in meeting. Hum fir se try karte hai'' She again dialed. Maan this time too was to cut but then he remembered her health, he picked up .."Maan where're you!!' Dadi almost shouted. Maan molded his voice that she could not guess his disturbance. Dadi said him to come back mansion as soon as but he denied. But finally he had to agree. "Ji Dadi thori der me aata hu'' he hung up.

It had got late at night and Maan was not present yet. Finally Geet insisted dadi to have dinner and take rest and for this, she too had to accompany her."Nandu.. geet ko guest room dikha dijiye!!'' dadi ordered his servent to she self withdrew for rest.
Geet was moving to and fro in room. She was eagerly waiting for maan to come that she could talk him before dadi, and tell everything. She again and again was walking in to the hall and then back in room. She was in hall when saw a servent was bringing milk for Dadi. She thought for something and took the tray from his hand "I will take to Dadi.. aap jaaiye'' She took and headed to dadi room. She knocked "dadima!''
SD was reading a book when she saw Geet with milk tray. She kept book aside "Aree Geet Beta why did you come.. where is nandu?''
"Wo Dadima I was getting bore so thought to talk sometime with you.. if I am not disturbing you Dadi''
"kasi baate kar rahi hai aap.. come Beta'' Geet happily came and sat near her keeping tray on side table. "Dadima can I ask something?''
"haa beta puchiye''
"Wo.. who else live here in this Mansion with you? I mean .. '' she hesitated, wanted to know more about Maan but could not ask directly so she thought for a casual talk..
"I understood Beta.. Bus hum teen hi hai .. me , my two grandsons.. Maan is eldest and then Dev.. ''
"So he .. I mean Maan.. always do like this.. matlab coming late night and do you always have dinner alone Dadi? Its not good manner na '' She spoke innocently like wanted to complain of Maan..
Dadi laughed. "no Beta Maan is very responsible. You know when he was only seventeen his parents died in a plane crash. Then I was alone to look after both office and house but he wiped my tears. He started to work with me and slowly took the entire burden of this house and office on his alone immature shoulder. But I could see .. how much he was disturbed inward but always showed his patience from out. Aap jaanti hai Geet.. It's my last wish that I could see his bride with him. Hume bas unki khushiyaan chaahiye...aur kuch nahi '' Her old, tired eyes became moist.
Geet heart felt a unknown pain in her heart. She could not decided for whom! Yes, indeed she felt sadden hearing Maan past but this pain was not for that then why!! ' Perhaps listening a tired wish of a old lady for her grandson marriage!! .. "Haa shyad yahi baat hai ..I felt sad because of me Dadi wish would not come true ever... her wish, her dream for a grand wedding of her grandson, will be shattered only because of me!!! '' ' Geet went lost in her thought when Nandu informed Maan car had reached at Mansion gate. "Ohh!! what I do now!!'' Geet panicked. She stood up from bed "Dadi mai sone jaati hu !!'' without waiting for Dadi reply she almost runs from there. With a very second she crossed the path of Maan and then Maan appeared in front of Dadi..
Geet closed the door but kept it a little ajar. With one eye she peeped to out and saw Maan was chatting with Dadi in hall. She guessed Dadi was forcing him for dinner but he, was denying. She observed Maan condition. He was looking tired, exhausted, in fact worn out completely. She felt bad. "What need of him to work like this, like a machine.. for whole day!!'' She thought.. "Ya fir kahi asa toh nahi he was searching for me ! No.. no Geet... But ho bhi sakta hai .. now should I ask him??'' She was debating with self when saw Maan been alone as Dadi was retreating to her room, annoyed. Maan started to go up to his room.
"Lagta hai fir khana nahi khaya !!'' she self-talked. Seemed Maan heard a slight whisper coming out from guest room he turned to there. Geet eyes saw it quite late that Maan was coming to her only. Instead, coming out, in-front of him she hides in hurry and then the both parts of door forcefully been opened..
Maan roamed his eyes everywhere in room, found it vacant. "why I felt someone was here?'' he thought and shut door back. Geet exhaled her paused breaths at once, started coughing. She was hiding next to door, behind it, pressing her mouth with Dupatta and stopping her breaths to make any sound. After some while, Her heart found its beats back and put on place in normal speed when she saw Maan had closed the door of his own room. "Geet you're such a stupid.. you're waiting for him to talk to him when got fairly chance , why did you hide??'' She annoyed on herself. "No. problem Geet.. you should take food for him in his room and then should talk.. haina!! '' She decided to go in kitchen to settle a plate for him.
Meanwhile Maan in his room, still was not in peace. Due to Dadi he was back but his mind and heart was yet, wandering around Geet whereabouts. "kaha hogi wo!!'' He was being very impatience. "Dadi must have slept till now. I should go and search Geet once again. I cant just sit here and wait for uncle call!!'' He took car keys and run out, descended stairs when his eyes caught sight of a moving shadow, going toward kitchen. "Ye kon hai?'' he doubted and followed. As soon as he stepped inside the light went on and he saw...
He turned back closing his eyes. "No ..it cant happen.. it's not she!! i'm hallucinating.. I've must gone mad I know.. '' He was chanting. He started to leave being sure she, was his tired mind imagination. Geet who was stood like a statue and had been looking his every act with wide open eyes, got back in sense , which had long lost seeing Maan, there. She saw him going back.. became worried "is he angry on me?'' she instantly called out "Maan rukiye!!!'' And then he realized, she was real. He paused on track. His heart started beating faster with the unexpected composure and peace he found withing a second, he could not handle it. Same moment Geet appeared before him , watching, whether he still angry but her step could not ended when Maan pulled her in his arms...
Silently he was healing his wounded heart with the real presence of her, in his own embrace, in his arms. It was surprising, very unexpected that how her mere presence, being fine and alright gave him worldly happiness. Though, he was not the man of tears but his condition was not less then that. It all was unbelievable for him own but he found himself helpless. He tried hard to leave her, keep a distance but .. not possible. After his inwardly debate he surrendered his all emotions before her.. and pressed her tighter to him...
Precap :" Geet!! come Beta.. he is our family friend Mr. Maadhva.. he is in police beta..He'll help you '' Dadi spoke..
