you know in the first place , I didnot know that there was a channel called starone.funny right ! then saw promo of geet with an aeroplane flying... thought another NRI story like pardes . then the first glimpse I saw was darji hitting geet ... thats it , thought another girl child abuse story...didnot watch it. next saw naitara showing some jewellery, MIL with scared eyes...again put off. then first time saw maan waiting outside the temple, and marriage going on inside. thought may be should try watching it. but still not convinced fully. then another short scene of maan and geet in the hotel dev stays with geet. then again felt like watching it...again that flying aeroplane pushed me away. next I saw brij back of geet with long sword... thats it I was totally putoff. completely went against watching such violence.
say after one week or ten days again flipped the channel and saw maan meeting geet at embassy. just couldnot remove my eyes from the screen. the pair were too lovely to ignore and their on screen presence was awesome.
from that day, till today my day never goes without maneet chant. either episodes or ffs or vms, or discussions not day goes without remembering them.
but until geet came to an end , didnot become member of IF. just used to read daily discussions, devil dens , articles and ofcourse ffs. they just gave me confidence that, there are people like me out there who are equally crazy for maneet.
whom ever I had recommended to watch geet, just made fun of me, saying you are crazy. one friend said, my hubby never holds my pallu the way that hero holds, nor he looks into my eyes that way... so , don't feel like watching ! another said ,you are gone crazy on GC that why you watch, nothing else. really felt offened, offcourse GC is gorgeous, but who will tell them that I equally drool on a film of saliva on geet's lips or her beautiful eyes filled with love and mischief for maan.
I love watching geet and dev confrontation on engagement day or at office with same zeal as watching geet calling maan cutie. the way she raised her finger and slapped dev with left hand ( I know she is lefty ) and the way she always raises her finger to maan saying ,dekhiye sir ... awesome ! that day I just stopped discussing my geet with my friends but started searching for like souls and here in this platfourm found all of you . all the frieds here showed me that Iam not the only crazy person for maneet . there are thousands out there... thanks to you all of you for being here and should definitly thank IF for this forum.
