Maan walked out of his class talking and smiling with his friends…..but geet who is watching him secretly is unable to digest the smile. but she smirked thinking about her plan.
"maan lets go for the basketball practice" adi said as he dragged maan away from their other friends.
Maan plays basketball daily after his school along with his friends in the school grounds.
"where is dev?" maan asked as soon as he reached the court.
"he is with meera" pinky replied who just ran to them breathing hardly.
"are they coming for practice?" maan asked.
"yup just in few minutes" pinky replied sitting on the steps to take in some air.
Adi sat beside pinky as he asked "u said u will start to learn the game from today"
"I know the game adi..i m seeing u ppl play from past 2 years" pinky replied chirpily
"but u never play…and I m speaking about u to play not to watch" adi said again.
"maan plz help me na he is eating my brain" pinky said as she got up and walked to maan who is warming up.
"he is right pinky u must play with us…how long will u sit and watch…u remember u promised that u will start playing from today" said meera who just entered the court along with dev.
"maaan" pinky said again.
" I cant help u in this pinky sorry dear" maan sighed.
Pinky is like a sweet sis to maan…a sis who he always want but never had. So he take care of pinky like a small sis..her word is his command but still he cant help her in this..hmmm.
"now u had no option" adi grinned.
They all started to play while maan patiently explained pinky every rule and made her bounce the ball on the floor and catch it…he told her every tip and she listened to him carefully.. when ever she fall or trip he would be there beside her in a sec and that's their bond.
After nearly 2 hours the whole school is empty except maan's gang and geet who is waiting for a chance to execute her plan.
"i m out of breath….bas aaj keliyeh hogaya I cant play anymore" dev sighed as he sat on the steps beside pinky who is long ago exhausted.
He is followed by meera then adi and finally maan came and stood before them panting.
"then lets pack and go back home…I had some work" maan said.
"I know whats ur work….fighting with the geet handa…..isnt it?" dev said.
"yup" maan grinned evilly.
" today is my day maan" geet smirked who is watching them from far.
Maan and his gang packed their sports bags and started to leave when maan remembered about his school bag.
"guys my bag" maan said and turned back.
"its on ur shoulder maan" adi said.
"no not my sports bag…its my school bag" maan said as he started searching the whole court.
"oh" adi said and all started to search.
After few minutes " I think u left in class" pinky said tired of searching.
"ya….i think so" maan sighed and stopped searching.
"ok lets go and see there" meera said.
"no meera u ppl go home I will go get it and leave." Maan said and all nodded and left as maan made his way to the now empty class room. Its already dark outside and no one are there in the school as its already 2 and half hours over as the school over.
Maan walked into the dark class room and saw his bag placed on the last bench. He made his way to the last bench and picked his bag onto his other shoulder that's when he heard a loud noise and turned back to see the door of the classroom closed.
"oh" maan uttered and walked to the door and started to open it.
Maan tried to open the door but the door dint open he again tried but nothing happened. He walked to the window and tried to open it but even its not opening finally he saw a broken part of mirror on the window and looked out through it to see if any one there and call them for help. There he saw a faint figure running out of the corridor into the ground jumping in happiness. He saw the person clearly and she is …
"geet!!!" maan gasped in shock and surprise.
And then it dawned on him that geet locked him in this dark class room with no light on.
"oh so this is geet's revenge for that frog prank" maan said anger rising in him. But suddenly he smirked.
"huh wah geet nice one. But u least know I m not afraid of dark like u….not afraid of frogs like u" maan smirked.
He made his way one of the benches and sat down.
"but this is going to give a good hearing for geet….may be even from her father along with the princi" maan laughed.
"ok then geet……let me tell u whats going to happen now….and then 2mrow morning……papa is going to start searching for me in another 5 mins….he is going to call meera first and she says I m not at her place then the call goes to adi…then dev and pinky but the reply doesn't change….mohinder uncle is going to observe papa's tension and he will know that I m missing. So they will both start the search…..my frnds will come home and they are going to say that they last saw me walking to the class room. So there comes my papa and ur dad to school searching for me but watchman says there is no one at school and he is sure of that and he cant allow anyone in after the school hours……there ur plans works perfectly well as they will go back even as they don't trust him completely…then they start searching for me again…they will search the whole Mumbai….but oops I m here in my class…who will tell them….wow…nice plan geet….but the thing is…here its not me who is scared and nervous…its my dad….and I m not gonna leave u for giving my dad this tension…u will pay for sure…..ohhh I forgot to tell what will happen 2mmorow morning……..so I will wake up here and as the pune pen the door I will start my acting…..as if scared….so he will call the princi and princi will call our dad then my acting continues and they will ask m what happen and how come I m here then u can expect my answer as I saw u locking the door and my reply will be the same along with few added things like u fought with me in the evening and as I shouted on u…u did this to me….both my dad and ur dad are going to belive me as I m here in the spot….so…..ohhh….poor u I cant even imagine……ha ha ha" maan laughed out loud.
NEXT MORNING
"I dint do it dad…he is lying….we dint fight at all yesterday" geet cried as she stood before mohinder in princi's room.
"geet tum kehrahi ho mujhe ki u dint fight with maan a whole day….and u want me to believe it haan?" mohinder asked angry on geet.
Mohinder and raj along with geet and maan stood in the princi's room. Maan is in his acting mode….behaving as a scared rat….and smirking at geet.
"sir plz don't scold her….may be its just a mistake" raj tried to convince mohinder.
"what mistake raj? Locking a person in a dark room the whole night while his people outside are worrying hell….is it a mistake?" mohinder said seriously to raj as he turned towards princi.
"ma'am u can give whatever punishment u want to geet for doing this" mohinder said.
Maan is grinning contently inside.
"sir…geet is a good student but the thing she did today is something so serious…I cant ignore this….so miss.geet u r suspended for a week" princi said seriously at geet.
Tears formed in geet's eyes but more becoz of anger on maan rather than her suspension. But another shock followed for geet.
"then in that case geet…u r grounded this whole week" mohinder said sternly and geet looked at him shocked.
"but dad…" she started to say but he held geet's hand and pulled her with him "lets go home"
As mohinder walked out of the room geet turned back to look at maan who smirked at her and winked. This angered her more.
"go home maan…u need rest…u can come 2mmorrow" princi said to maan and raj left taking maan with him.
