"daaad…..dad see what he is doing"

"ya ya look who is speaking"

Thus started another fight of the day.
"uff yeh bachhe ….they will stop never" mohinder exclaimed looking at the two devils who are running around in the garden of handa mansion fighting.
Mohinder sat in the lawn chair in garden looking at some files and raj stood beside him handing him the files. Its Sunday so everyone are at home including the two devils.
Geet is behind maan trying to catch him and maan is not even in her range to catch.
As they ran around their fathers raj caught hold of maan while maan wriggled in his grip to leave him.
"papa chodo mujhe that double head is coming" maan tried to get out of raj's grip as geet came near him.
"maan stop this nonsense cant u be good?" raj looked at his son.
Even as being friend of mohinder raj never crossed his line…he thinks he is not equal to them and mohinder's family except him and his wife rano every other member in their family treats him only as a servent. Many times mohinder behaved with him and saw him as a friend but he maintained his distance. As he saw maan playing pranks on geet and irritating her…he many a times asked maan to behave and be away from geet….but that's next to impossible.
"yes I got u" geet shouted in happiness and held maan's shirt.
As raj loosened his hold on maan, maan smirked " do u really think so?"
Instantly maan ran from there and geet looked at him shocked and again started running behind him shouting at him and scolding him.
This is their daily routine…..
"raj" mohinder said closing the files and handing them to raj.
"yes sir" raj said slightly bending down at mohinder.
Mohinder took the coffee mug from the table and took a sip "oh raj…stop calling me sir…we are not in office"
"but sir.." raj started to say but cut by mohinder.
"u never change na" he sighed.
"but one day will come that u will call me by my name without the sir tag" mohinder smiled and raj smiled in return.
Meanwhile maan and geet ran and ran around the house.
Maan's mother is dead when he is 5 and from then mohinder asked raj to shift to their outhouse so raj along with maan and maan's mamaji stay in handa's outhouse.
Maan ran and collided with his mamaji and fell down while geet came to him and threw the whole bucket of water which is kept for gardening on maan. Maan looked at her angrily but geet laughed out loud and ran from there satisfied.
Maan sat there drenched and angry on geet. Mamaji held him and made him stand on his feet.
"challo maan. Andar challo aur kapade badallo nai to thand lagjayegi" mamaji held him and walked him inside the house.
"mamaji wo geet ko dekho. Kitna nakhre hai" maan cribbed.
"maan I told u to stay away from them dint i? those rich people are always like that…they don't think a sec before throwing mud on our face" mamaji said.
Mamaji is good but he doesn't like rich people. He had so much experience in his life…he saw many people, their behaviours and geet's family..except rano and mohinder everyone else are not that good…they are eligible to act according to time and they don't treat raj well….actually to be true they don't ever see raj as mohinder's friend he is always a mere employee to them. Mamaji knows this all even raj. But raj don't mind this as he too think that he is a mere employee.
"sach mamaji u r right. I so hate that geet….wo kudh ke baremein sochti kya ho….maharani?" maan shouted angrily.
"maan keep ur voice down" said raj angrily who came into the room just then.
"papa she is " maan started to say but stopped seeing the angry look in raj's eyes.
"maan how many times did I tell u to be away from geet mam. Why don't u understand. We are not equal to them. She can never be ur friend" raj said calming down.
"papa pehle stop calling her mam…she is just 14" maan said not able to digest his father calling some stupid 14 yr old as mam.
"aur haan I don't even want her as a friend never….not becoz she is rich and me not…but becoz she is stupid and she can never be equal to me…THE MAAN SINGH KHURANA" maan said with his head up.
"nakhre dekh is bache ki" raj said.
"its called attitude papa" maan smiled.
"one day he will become a successful person raj….i can see that in his confidence. He will be popular and defiantly rich" mamaji said.
"more rich than geet" maan grinned brightly.
"I hope that happens. I wanted to see maan successful in his life" raj said and smiled a little and left.
"when I m successful and rich I will see the end of geet" maan thought with hatred on geet.
