Abhi sham tak time he to I will better make use of it. Vikranth ke barey me thoda information collect karti hu. Adi sir se baat karti hu. Shayad unhe kuch pata hoga.

She called Adi and all she got was a number. Geet was hesitant but she dialled the number anyway. A cheerful voice attended the call, "Vikranth here!"

Geet : Mr. Vikranth, me Geet bol rhi hu. Geet Maan Singh Khurana

Vikranth : ohh Geet bhabhi..ap! Ap mujhe Vicky hi bula lijiye..

Geet was quite taken aback seeing him so comfortable but she felt happy for the boy. No one knew better than her how it felt to lose all your family.

Geet : kya me ap..I mean tumse mil sakti hu?

Vicky : sure bhabhi..mall me milte he

Geet : ok! But how will I recognize you?

Vicky : Dn worry. I know you. I will call you and meet up.

Geet didn't understand. How did he know her? She felt a bit scared too. She thought of informing Maan but he was working away and she didn't want to trouble him. She decided to go and meet Vikranth or Vicky. Then she could talk to Maan.

So she was in the mall with her mobile phone. Everything seemed so simple. She would call him. He would come and meet her. Geet felt much better now. May be she was unnecessarily worrying. Vikranth must have seen her from the Internet or celebrity magazine after all she is the Geet Maan Singh Khurana! The pride that accompanied the thought was natural and she couldn't help but smile. Suddenly her phone rang and it was Vikranth calling.

Vicky : bhabi wo.. mall me milne me thodi problem he..

Geet :what problem?

Vicky: no..I just thought since I am in Mehrauli now I thougth if you could meet me in Qutub Minar?

Geet wondered why he was making such a strange demand. The mall seemed to be a perfect idea but then may be he wasn't comfortable in such places. After all he was Maan's brother. How could he like people and buzz..Geet controlled her urge to giggle and replied,"ok I will be there in another 30 minutes!"

Meanwhile from a distance someone was watching every movement of Geet. Someone whose eyes followed everywhere she looked or went. Someone who gaze was so intent that Geet could feel it boring on her back. She turned around but saw no one.

Maan sighed as he saw Geet leaving the mall. He knew that she was in some sort of trouble. So much that she was hesitating to tell him about it. He considered many options, may be a stalker or blackmailer or some psychopath..Whatever it was his duty to protect her. So he decided to follow her without her knowledge so that he could assure her safety. So he waited for her to leave and went behind her. Maan saw her taking the road to Mehrauli he was confused. Why would Geet go to Mehrauli? We have no business there at all! Someone must have set a trap and she is falling for it!

His body became stiff with worry but he had no time to react. He quickly followed her in a different car than his which he bought specially for this purpose! Geet travelled a lot of distance and finally parked her car on the side of the highway which was not so crowded. Maan parked a few feet away from her so that he could see her clearly without her knowledge. Geet got out of the car and looked around. She looked nervous. Maan felt appalled. She was definitely in problem thought he. He quickly got out of his car and followed her from a distance. Geet got into a pathway which led to some old ruins probably the remnants of some historic place left abandoned. There were some Mughal carvings and stone works. After a few distances were some steps. Geet got down them and walked ahead what which appeared to be a small hill more possibly a slope. She climbed the hill. Maan waited behind one of the huge stones. He couldn't possibly follow her all the way as the hill had only plain grass and he would not have any cover to stay oblivious. It was a beautiful sight as the sun was about to set and a light breeze was making her pallu flying in the air. If it was any other situation he would have run to her and hugged her. Unfortunately he had to wait to find who was after his dear wife. Geet reached the top and stood there waiting. Thats when Maan saw another guy standing there already. Maan moved closer as Geet was now on top of the hill and could not see him anyway. The new guy was dressed in a printed solid black crew neck T-shirt and a cream colored trouser. Some of his wet-jelled hair fell on his forehead giving him a lanky-boy look than a man. His eyes were brown and warm, friendly in fact and there was a cute boyish smile on his face. Maan narrowed down his conclusions about this guy as a possible hacker or blackmailer. He started getting up the hill bending a little bit so that they won't notice him suddenly. But then he saw the guy holding Geet's hand and dragging her despite her protest. Maan couldn't wait anymore and he pounced on him shielding Geet. The guy was taken by surprise and he didn't even try to defend himself when Maan beat him up but Geet intervened much to the surprise of Maan and ordered him to stop.

Maan : daro mat Geet ye mujhe kuch nhi karega..

Geet : I know Maan.. ye apko kuch nhi karega..lekin ap isey kyu maar rhe ho bas kariye

Maan : Geet ye zabardasti tumhara haath pakad rha tha aur tum puch rhi ho isne kya kiya!

Geet : Maan..ye mujhe apne ghar bula rha tha aur me bas mana kr rhi thi abhi jaane ko..

Maan : wahi to.. I knew he is a kidnapper!!!

Geet : kidnapper?? Babaji!! Maan.. ye apka bhai he!! Vikranth..umm Vicky!

Maan stopped all his physical efforts to raise his hand on the stranger and stared at Geet in utter shock.

Maan : kya kaha tumne?

Geet : ha ye apka apna bhai he..

And Geet narrated all that to Maan as how Dev interchanged the baby and they all thought he was dead and then dadi found out him and was sick because of the shock. She told him about her fears and how she feared his reaction. But Maan stood there like one of those stones. Geet started to worry now. She had to get his attention somehow. She knew that he was deep in shock.

Geet : Maan..apne bhai se nhi milenge ap?

Maan : bhai? Kaun bhai?

Geet : Maan! Apne suna nhi mene kya kaha!

Maan : Geet, you believe him?

Geet : Yes. He has proofs and all the records are perfect and they match with the facts according to dadi.

Maan : records can be created easily. Geet you know how many people are there after us. We can't trust strangers !

Geet : Maan he is not a stranger, he is YOUR brother!

Vicky intervend, "rehne dijiye bhabhi. Agar bhai nhi maante to phir me chala jaunga..

Geet : ruko Vicky. Me dekhti hu ye kaise nhi maante

Maan looked irritated, "Geee..t!"

Geet : dekhiye..apka shaq mitane ko me nhi keh rhi. Lekin jab apno se koi dur ho jaata he na to bohat dukh hota he. ME nhi chahti ki wo dard kisi aur insaan ko ho! Agey apki marzi

Maan's face softened as he heard her words.

Maan : jaan..agar tum yehi chahti ho to..isko bolo ki ye kuch din tak humare outhouse me rhe. I have to make some verifications. Phir dekhte he ki kaun kiska bhai he

Geet jumped with joy and hugged Maan.

Geet : thank you thank you thank you... Vicky abhi samaan leke mansion a jao

Vicky left happily as a puzzled Maan looked at Geet.

Geet raised her brows, "kya?"

Maan : abhi? Abhi kyu? Kal bhi to a sakta he!

Geet : Maan ap bhi na..chaddo waise bhi ap to mujse baat bhi mat karo..

Maan : arey kyu? Ab mene kya kiya Geet?

Geet : ha ha kya kiya.. apne pehle mere peeche jasus chhode ab khud jasusi krne lage ho! Apne apko ACP Pradhyuman samajte ho kya ap?

Maan : me jasusi nhi kar rha tha. Mujhe to tumhari fiqar ho rhi thi. Aur ye Pradhyuman kaun he?

Geet : ahahahaa.. fiqar ho rhi thi.. apko to ye bhi nhi pata Pradhyuman kaun he.. kabhi bethke CID dekho tab pata chalega aur apke is jasusi me bhi kaam ayegi..

Maan : Geet tum na..rehne do..

Geet : kya? (she looks upward dramatically) hey babaji mujhe shaqqi pati hi dena tha apko!!

Maan : Geet mene tumpe shaq nhi kiya..me to bas..

Geet glared at Maan making him eat his words. As Maan walked ahead silently Geet smiled. All she wanted was to take his mind off the whole shock and her mock anger was working well. Maan turned back as if he could feel her smile but Geet managed to make a serious offended face especially her cheeks looked red in anger but she was actually blushing thinking about their make-up love later. When they reached the highway Geet stopped confused as she saw a different car.

Geet : ye kaun si gaadi he?

Maan replied hesitantly, "wo me laya...taaki tum notice na karo.."

Geet : dekha dekha..jasus kahi ke..kitna shaq karte he...apke do bachiyo ki ma hu phir bhi mujh pe shaq krte he , hey babaji (raising her hands)mujhe insaaf dilaoo!!

Maan : Geet itna drama krne wali koi baat nhi he. Ye me driver se kehke bhej dunga aur hum apni car me ghar chale jayenge

Geet :haaawww...drama? aur me? Ek to shaq kro mujhe follow bhi karo upar se kehte he me drama kar rhi hu..haaye rabba..

Maan : bas karo Geet bhagwaan ko to akela chhod do..

Geet : nhi me apko akela chhod rhi hu! Bas ab khush?

Maan :arey Geet, mujhe?

Geet :ap jao is jasusi gaadi me me chalti hu humari gaadi me

Maan : ye kya bachpana he Geet

Geet ran near her car and Maan followed her trying to get into the car. Geet quickly tried to close the door but Maan insisted on getting inside the car both pulling the door to opposite sides.

Maan :me bhi chalunga tumhare saath

Geet : nhi mujhe nhi jaana apke saath.

The driver tried hard not to laugh seeing them fighting like school kids.

Maan saw that and told him,"tum bethe bethe kya muh dekh rhe ho.. jao aur wo gaadi ghar le ao."

Before the driver could get out Geet ordered, "Gopal tum kahi nhi jar he..jinko wo gaadi pyari he wahi leke ayenge"

Maan took his hand away from the door. Geet was surprised she expected him to continue the fight.

Geet(self-thought) : babaji kahi zyada to nhi ho gaya? Kahi ye sachi me to gussa nhi hue?

Maan : theek he Geet! Agar tumhe itni problem he to me us gaadi me hi chala jaata hu..

He didn't look back and left in the other car leaving a really worried Geet behind.

Geet(self-thot): lagta he sach me naaraz ho gaye..ab me kya karu? Kaise inko manaungi? Aur jab Vicky ayega aur Maan ko gussa dekhenge to kahi usey na bura lag jaye..ye mane kya kar diya..

Maan on the other hand left the place in his car without another look or word.
