my inspiration to start writtingwere maaneet,i was a silent reader for almost an year but when geet ended i felt like something was missing in my life,n just bcoz of geet i started to write my first ff LOVE OR HATRED

My inspiration is muski di. I loved her writing.
Mere final year ke exam aane wale the. Us waqt mujhe fb, if, in sbki itni knowledge nhi thi. Mood fresh krne ke liye i opened my fb id and watch maaneet pics. Isi bich mujhe koi link mila. Jb maine use open kiya. Wha maaneet ke upar likha tha. I liked it so much.
After reading so many stories written by muski di. Tb maine kuch likha.
I love maaneet. Unke alawa aaj tak kisi pe kuch nhi likha.

Great Topic. In fact I was thinking along the same lines.

Why do people write the things they do and what inspires them.

On my FF "Binding Ties" at the end of each update I usually write a short narrative telling how some of the crazy incidents and people in my life have evolved into me writing a particular scene. Much of my inspiration comes from real life. My parents, sibling, friends neighbors and my own life. but the biggest inspiration is the serial Geet and it's characters of course.If Maan and Geet didn't exist, the writer in me would have probably slept forever.

As for why we write:
Everybody wants to feel good about themselves. The young woman in us wants to feel that heart pounding excitement of falling in love even if it is felt just vicariously through a soap. Maan is the ultimate Prince Charming to the Princess inside us. He is tall handsome protective, not to mention arrogant. We relate arrogance to self confidence. Self confidence relates to success. We all want that in a man. As for Geet we all try to see a piece of ourselves,somewhere in her. But she is the ultimate woman to us bcoz she has won the ultimate man. The chemistry between the actors was so good that it made the dream seem real.These are the feelings we want to keep alive, and so we write. It is sheer escapism. It is imagination. It is wonderful.

So keep on dreaming and keep on writing. I think it is after all a salute to the princess inside each one of us.

This is just my opinion. I would love to know what others think especially waht incidents they think if when they put it down in a story.
