So, I am tempted to reply to your questions. To answer your first one... yes, as you said there was so much going on inside their heads that they both were suppressing what they actually wnted to speak and were speaking what they are supposed to. If given a chance, Tweesha would have pestered Geet to open the damned door since she was worried sick about how the hell had the girl got home since she was new to Delhi. But she couldn't do that because of the walls that they build between them. She wasn't lying per se about meeting a friend it's just that she wasn't keen about discussing the uneventful meeting when there were more raging questions in her mind.

I'm not sure if I'm deluding or something, but this line doesn't seem like it's for these two times that they have met and Maan saved her. One of the said two times, she wasn't even in danger! So why did she think life is throwing her at his mercy time and again?

That was a twisted thought in my mind which I just observed becomes increasing difficult to understand if you don't understand what Geet feels about her supposed to be saving. It was not the danger she thinks she was saved from. Rather the thoughts she was preoccupied with both the times when he jerked her out of it. I have edited that line however to make this clear now. 😳

How did Geet find out about the place Tweesha was going to? I mean, Sam called her on her phone and then she left. Was there something in her bag? If there was then the meeting was preplanned, wasn't it?

I do not know if it was explained properly but Geet heard the one sided conversation through which she figured that Tweesha was going out even before she told, so it was just that she heard the name of the lane, through that conversation...


After reading this chapter, I think I know you really love writing about such brats and their thought processes! 😆

I do. Because it is relatively easy. You see only a Brat can understand another brat. But I tell you writing about a certain "Brat" is damned difficult.
