'Susegad' is exactly what you imagine it to be. Goans are like that. When I was younger growing up in Goa the shops in the markets would open at around 10:00 AM, close for an afternoon siesta from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and close again in the evening at 8:00 PM.
The local bus service would come to an halt at 8:00PM.
So that is what it means, to be a Susegad Goan😆
I guess I have already answered to this...😉. Even I love to live the life of a Susegad goan... There's an altogether different happiness about it... 😆

I am glad you are enjoying all the characters. I was worried whether peopl would want to read about any other characters in detail other than Maan and Geet. But I had so many character shades running through my mind, that it was impossible not to write about them. I just hope that I am making them interesting enough.😕

I am really very glad that you are enjoying the marathi dialogues. Understanding the dialogues in their original language is the best. 😃
I feel something gets lost in translation, though I try my best to make the english translations as close to the original as possible, though I feel I'm not always successful.😕
Yes the original dialect used for some dialogues itself are quite impactful.. 👏 Having said that you're doing a very good job with the translations... but for me fortunately the original language works well.😊 The translations are mostly quite apt... so don't worry on that part. 😊
Writing the narrations is the best part for me. it's about going back and dusting off all the wonderful memories. If not for this story I'd not try to deliberately jog my mind for those precious memories. In a way it's connecting me to all those people who are no longer there in my life for whtever reason, be it distance or some of them are so far that it is humanly impossible to reach them even if I wanted to.
