The violence and the brutality of the update shook me and i needed time before i could write down something.

It is more disturbing because this is not what happens in fiction but is happening everywhere, in the cities and more so in the hinterlands.

Who do we blame here????

When the need for alcohol is so great that a man hits his wife(who incidentally is the bread- earner) and children for money .

When we fail to instill that the family name and parampara are not greater than the family.

When greed and lust for money and property makes us loose our humanity... such incidences are going to be splayed across all newspapers and a human life will turn into one more coverstory.

I'm sorry for such a depressing post but could not hold it back.

Yes, I was ver surprised to know that Geet isn't Mohinder's daughter by blood. But does it matter? Mohinder was the one who has been a father to her ever since she opened her eyes. Brij was the loving, protective brother she had by her side ever since she's known the meaning of a brother. Blood relations in such situations are secondary, what is more important is the heart's relations. So for me, Mohinder is still Geet's father and Brij is her brother. And now I know the reason for why Brij doesn't speak Marathi a lot. Because his father doesn't, right? 😊

And I feel disgusted at the guard who ran off to call Subhash Rao, at Subhash Rao himself for being so heartless a man! But we couldn't have expected him to be nice to his ex-wife who left him and a daughter he never knew he had. Money can never make ties! Whenever money is given more importance than relationships, the consequences are grave!

For Anita and Rajesh, who've been supportive and loving throughout for Rano and her family, I feel sad. I feel sad for Miri who lost her mother the day she was born. I feel sad for Rano who lost her dearest friend and her son who was almost as dear to her as her own child. I feel sad for Rano because she couldn't help but blame herself for the two deaths. And I feel sad for Geet who found the most shocking revelation of her life and lost three important people, her mother, her maasi and her brother in the same night. 😭

One and the only good that happened through this mess was Miri getting a mother and Gee getting a daughter. And now it's clear why Geet is so passionate about her daughter, why she could do anything, argue with anyone for her! (Remember her outburst on Maan for dragging Miri in the argument?) Now I understand what Geet meant by saying that her mother has gifted Miri to her before leaving this world. 😊

One thing which you portrayed really well is a mother's love for her child. The way Rano gave up on her own life to protect Geet and Miri is something only a mother can do! Such is a mother's love for her child that she doesn't care if she loses her own life protecting her children! 😳

As a whole, yes, the update was sad and shocking indeed, but it was needed for the story. See, all your fretting over how to write it has payed off and it turned out a very well-written chapter! 😃

he didn't love his wife that is why tortured her in past and now living with another women but geet was his own blood...how can he think of killing her...but Geet's mother saved Geet and Miri by sacrificing her own life and killing that monster...
