Geet looked at maan with her longing hazels, was she hearing it right, was he just confessing what she guessed...but then why he stopped, or may be she is wrong, in even expecting him to love her back...

Her thoughts where halted with a panting voice that jerked them both..."maan...geet" dev called standing behind them, boring his questioning gaze on their close proximity...He stared at maan's hands which were still holding geet closer...then looked away hiding that burning jealousy that took over his senses..."dad is waiting for both of you in the car"...dev spoke still looking away from them..."tumhara phone nahi lag raha tha maan...so came here to search you both" he now looked at maan's stern face, then moved his gaze on geet...who he now noticed was clad in maan's shirt..."geet tum yeh..." he aggressively forwarded towards geet, hating to see her in maan's cloth...then looking at geet scared face, he realized his action and calmed himself..."I mean...we are getting late...chalo yaha se" he grabbed geet's hand, and pulled her with himself...But before he took take any step away with geet, maan grabbed geet's other hand and pulled her back...He protectively took shivering geet in his arms, and stared at dev in rage...who stood their stunned with his sudden move...

"maan..." dev spoke in utter rage...but maan stopped him, saying..."she first needs to change...aap jao mai geet ko le aaunga" his commanding words left dev with no other choice...as he angrily stood gazing at maan's retreating back, who carried geet again to that isolated house...
