"The sky'the sky...is so..." Geet said in admiration. In awe, she smiled. Maan watched her as she forwarded her hand to touch the soft white sand.

"It's one of the sweetest and beautiful places ever" Geet said smiling at Maan. It was a bit dark but she could see him though.

Maan walked without talking with an excited Geet.

Geet felt tickled as she walked bare-footed on the sand. She smiled. Music still could be heard faintly.

"Yash lives near the sea, it's so wonderful" Geet blabbered. "No need to get all excited" Maan said sarcastically. Geet ignored him.

They walked for some times till Geet could see the dark blue water crashing on the shore. She ran to it and splashed her hands in it. She giggled.

"She's just like a small girl, even Annie is more mature compare to her, right now" Maan thought.

"Come" Maan said pulling her arm. Geet, amazed by such beauty *not Maan's*, followed silently.

Maan watched Geet as she played with the sand; he went to sit on one of the rocks on the coast.

"Come here and sit" Maan said. "You can see the sun setting" he continued and Geet, excited came and sat next to him. Together; they watched the sun sinking in the blue colour of the ocean and watched the first stars twinkling in the sky. So far; Geet was thinking like that, for Maan, it was just watching sun set with a girl.

"It's really beautiful" Geet said.

Maan rolled his eyes and remarked "it's the 99^th time you're saying this Handa".

"So I'll say it for the 100^th time, Khurana" Geet retorted.

Maan watched the ocean and Geet watched him. "Why did you bring me here?" she asked as she dusted off the sands off her feet and wore her heels.

"Because I was getting bored at the party" Maan retorted annoyed.

"Well, then why you brought me here?" Geet pressed.

"Because you were feeling uncomfortable, I saw you" Maan snapped "and if you regret coming here, you just can go" he said rudely.

Geet stared into his eyes. "I didn't mean that" she said softly.

"I didn't want to sound rude" Maan said "you just irritate me". Geet chuckled and replied "you remind me of my brother, he used to say such things to me".

"Thanks Maan, for bringing me out here, it's really magic...and yeah, I was feeling extremely uncomfortable there" Geet said. "Thanks" she said gently and slowly making her voice husky.

Maan looked into her deep brown eyes and held his breath. Geet stared into his mysterious black eyes as Maan slowly moved closer towards her...lips. Geet, unaware, kept staring into his shady strange eyes...

The waves crashed on the cliffs and broke their trance. Maan looked dead embarrassed so did Geet. She pushed her locks of hair behind her ears and gulped down her saliva.

"Damn it, what was I doing" he thought.

Geet glanced in the corner of her eyes and saw Maan was punching the rock with a confused look. She shivered and thought "he's strange, he's mysterious, he's shady...yet, inside, he looks like someone nice".

Maan did not dare to look at Geet.

"So Ally did not come today" Geet said starting a conversation.

"No" Maan said; glad that Geet changed the awkward moment "her grandmother is getting married" he said a little bit disturbed remembering Geet's eyes.

"Her Grandmother?!" Geet said a little shocked and then covered her mouth "that can happen" she said a little more softly.

"I said her grandmother?" Maan said confused and then retorted "no, I meant her cousin is getting married, she went to the jeweler's, well, and that's what I think" Maan cleared.

*Ally went to the dressmaker ' Maan had not being paying attention to her conversation*

Geet shivered.

"I think we should go back inside" Maan said "it's getting colder". Maan jumped down the rocks and Geet looked down, scared to climb it with her heels.

"Give me your hand or you'll break a leg" Maan laughed and held her hand and helped her.

They walked silently till the entrance of the house and seeing Jessie coming in Geet's direction, Maan dispersed.

"I want to go home" Geet mumbled to Jessie who nodded. Jessie kept staring at Geet, who did not notice.

Once in the car, Jessie glared at Geet. "What were you doing? Huh?"

Geet, looked taken aback with her temper, startled replied "Where? What was I doing?"

Jessie shook Geet and said "I saw MSK trying to kiss you'and how could you let him'?" Geet turned beetroot and looked away. She choked but no words came from her mouth.

"Then you saw wrong, nothing like that, we were discussing about his studies" she lied. "Right" Jessie smirked "alone, together'on the beach".

"You were spying on me?" Geet asked shocked and ashamed that Jessie saw that. "No, I wasn't" Jessie confirmed "but when I went to search for you I saw Maan drooling and looking into your eyes and both of you were in slow motion moving closer'you should have seen, you were like romantic movies on the telly" Jessie said.

Geet went even red. "Trust me; nothing like that happened" Geet fibbed and said casually "Maan is with Ally". "Right" Jessie smirked again "and he was on the beach with you". "Jessie please" Geet whined. "It's hard to believe you have a crush on that guy when you always complain about him and taunt him" Jessie continued.

"I guess you call that a weak moment" Geet said pulling a baby face. "I seriously have no idea what happened". "I trust you Geet but not that MSK".

Reaching home, Geet changed and sank in her bed. "There is a logic explaination on what happened, Maan was missing Ally'that's it" she convinced herself and smiled. "Yes, that's it'"

"But'" she added softly tucking her hair, "I will never forget the day when I met him at the airport'he won't remember, but I do" she mumbled and fell asleep.

"Maan? Were you in your sense?" Vicky asked. Maan banged his hand on his wardrobe. "I don't know what happened'"

"You don't know'then let me tell you'you were going to kiss Geet, and I saw you" Vicky declared furiously. "What's got up with you man" he said.

Maan was damn angry, he was angry on himself and on top of that Vicky's lecture.

"Vicky, better shut up or I'll strangle you" Maan said, anger clearly seen in his eyes.

"You forgot some things; you have a girl friend and her name is Alliya aka Ally" Vicky said.

"I know'" Maan said a bit calmer "but I can't'I don't know'it's just happen, you know Geet, she's so innocent, her childish acts and her cute innocent face is like that itself'" Maan said and banged his fists again.

"I guess, it was a dizzy moment" Vicky said patting Maan. "Alright, I leave, I better get home" Vicky said and left.

Maan flopped on his bed and switched his TV on, trying to distract himself but the beach moments kept flashing in his mind.

He fell asleep with the TV still on. Geet and his' nearly kiss flashed in his dream.

Maan felt uncomfortable the next day. He kept Vicky tagged with him during the whole day so did Geet do the same thing; she made Jessie glued to her to avoid Maan's look.

"Are you having your coaching session with Geet today?" Vicky asked.

"Yeah, but I didn't see her'" Maan said. "I bet it's because of yesterday, damn me" he cursed.

"See, she's there, go and talk to her" Vicky said. "No way..." Maan grimaced. "Come on, Maan, don't be a whip" Vicky groaned. "No...Duh, I don't want to face her, yesterday, I thought about all that...and it's my fault, it's me who got taken away with her beauty" Maan said scratching his head.

"Maan, you're scared of talking to a girl...that's the biggest breaking news ever..." Vicky laughed.

"Stop it" Maan said glaring at him. "Come let's go" Vicky said dragging Maan. "Vicky, stop it'I don't want to talk'to" Maan protested but he was already in front of Geet.

"What is he doing?" Geet thought. "Jessie, let's go" she whispered.

"Geet, for how long you'll keep ignoring him?"Jessie reasoned.

"Till I grow old" Geet said and pinched Jessie who grimaced in agony.

"G'Geet'" Vicky said looking at Maan then at Geet. "Maan wants to talk to you".

"What!?" Maan said shocked who was avoiding Geet and Jessie's look.

Geet looked at Maan sheepishly. "I'I..." he tried to talk "you will still be coaching me at Gemini, nah..." Maan stammered.

Geet nodded and fled away while Jessie ran after her.

"See it was not that difficult to talk to her" Vicky grinned and Maan stormed away.

"Where you are going?" Vicky asked. "Coach Orman asked me to come and meet him, I'll be there 5 minutes earlier...anyway...it doesn't matter..." Maan said walking away.

Vicky shrugged and walked into another direction, drooling on another girl.

Maan walked to the Coach's cabin. He was going to knock when he heard the Coach in deep conversation with someone. He decided to go when he heard Geet's name.

"I'm seriously going crazy after what I did last night" he thought. He was about to go when he heard that.

"Oh, don't worry about Geet, she won't play in any matches, Victoria, nobody knows that she came her for academics and Mathematics" the Coach said.

Maan stopped dead into his tracks and then waited, hiding.

"No Victoria, I assure you, she got friends, plus the teachers love her...Yes, nobody knows about the scholarship and all..."

Maan anger rose, he could burst any moment.

"That girl...Geet..."
