Night

Geet was restless, stressed due to Maan did not back yet. Where he gone no one knew. She had called office but he was not there. She was cursing herself, praying Babaji for his well-being.

Maan was in his office, sitting in cabin, with shut off eyes. He was engrossed in deep thought. Guard had informed him about Geet call as he knew, she would definitely call. So, he had already ordered guard not to reveal his existing in office. Maan was hurt, sad, not with Geet words but for her. Why she was that innocent not knowing what world was gossiping about her. "Why she can't see what is happening around her? Why she didn't let me go against that idiot girl? "He was worried for her. Ill words of that girl were still roaming in his mind. He felt disguise. "How dare she insult my Geet? How dare that earthy girl, taunted Geet like this.'' He remembered Geet words. "I regular listen this type of talks in school "

He jerked. "Why the hell I didn't think about this before. Oh! It was all my mistake i let it all happened with her. It was I because of, she gained all this uninvited publicity among all.'' He closed his eyes in disgust. "But not more Geet. I had forgot that what should have done long before, and didn't. but now I know what have to do. I want to give our relation, a name. A word where yours name, would be attached with mine and mine name would be taken, after yours. I will marry you Geet and then, I will see, how this world, has courage to raise a single word, upon you."

In very next moment, he slammed car door and rushed to mansion.

He was very happy as was going to propose Geet. Till now he never ever dreamed of this moment, that any girl would take this special place in his life. But now, he self-wanted to make Geet his life, not only a part of but entire life. And he was willing to live in her life being a small part that would be enough for him to spend his entire years, with happiness. He had forgotten what happened few hours back or what had Geet said. He only was seeing his future with her in which they would have all mood swings. Whether, it is anger or laugh but he, would enjoy every moment with her and also, make her cherish all days, with him, smiling.

He reached KM, searched for her. She was neither in kitchen nor in hall then must be in her room, as he knew she must be upset and will be crying. He was anxious as well as thrilled. Omg! The Maan Singh Khurana was to propose a girl, so that should be most amazing and most expressive occasion but what and how? "Who will help me? But I never asked for help to anyone. But what to do? arghh ! '' Maan was walking before Geet room, impatiently.

"Should I ask her now or should wait? Oh ! But I still don't know what kind of celebration or decoration she would like. Or would she prefer plain arrangement? but why I'm thinking about all these stupid arrangements when i know she likes nothing like this anything. But still I should do something for her, right! But what? "He saw Nakul. " Should I ask Nakul? '' Maan called Nakul.

"what happened Maan sir'' Nakul spoke from some far, bit loud

"Shh! Nakul, shut up. Don't shout" Maan husked, keeping his finger on lips, making Nakul showing it's very secret. Nakul nodded frowning, thinking what happened to his Maan Sir, this suddenly. He asked Maan what happened

"Umm, actually Gee.. '' Maan stopped in mid-way. "Oh God Maan! What you are doing. How would Nakul tell, how should be proposed her. You gone mad Maan'' Maan cursed himself mentally.

"Maan Sir ! '' Nakul called again looking weird expression on Maan face.

"umm nothing. You go'' Maan said and run upstairs. He went to his parents' room, in which, once he had requested Geet for their togetherness forever.

Downstairs

Geet came out hearing Maan sound. " Nakul, did Maan come ? '' She asked

"Yes Geet and seems something happened with him. I mean he was doing weird acts, making strange faces. He also didn't have his dinner"

"Where is he?''

Nakul pointed to room. Geet guessed he may be still angry so that didn't do dinner. She arranged a plate for him and left to find Maan. She reached same room and was going to knock when found it opened, so entered. She saw Maan was stood, facing to his mother photo and was talking something which, she could not hear but could guess, it was something emotional. She waited for him. She was thinking to applause for her words and was fidgety.

Maan felt someone, behind him. He turned and saw Geet. Geet saw him and shocked to see, his eyes was moist. Seemed he was crying. Yes indeed he was, but not for her words but he was sharing his biggest found happiness with his parents and became nostalgic. But Geet took it wrong. She thought he was upset because of her and sank more in guilt.

"Maan please forgive me. I'm really very sorry. I was mad and didn't know what said in anger but I really didn't want to. I know I did mistake but please don't make yourself hurt. You do anger me, shout on me, do anything which would make you happy but please don't cry. I can't see you crying Maan. I'm sorry.. ''

"Shhh '' Maan made her shut, keeping his finger on her lips making her startled. She looked him sniffling. He was smiling loop sided. She was confused "hadn't he been angry on me? Buy why he is looking happy though'' she was bemused when found, his arm around her in side hug. He guided her to Mother photo. He stopped there, looked frame with smile and had strange shine in his big brown eyes.

"Geet you wanted to know why I was crying"

She nodded puzzled.

"I was talking to Mom. I was sharing my secret with her actually "

"Secret?''

"Hmm, my biggest secret Geet, which would change my life completely. And this secret begins with you only '' Maan saw her eyes. It had sea of questions and a hope in middle. Her single hope seemed waiting for his confession. Oh why didn't he see her eyes this closely yet, he thought. It was like beautiful Blue Ocean and deepest, where he had to swim and bury in deep. He could end his life watching every sun rises and sets, standing together to edge of her ocean eyes, mingling his palm with her till he close his eyes, forever.

"Maan !'' Geet called him looking him lost somewhere. "What happened "

"Nothing Geet you don't worry. I'm fine and not at all angry on you. Got it?''

She nodded but could feel something bothering him. But she dropped idea to ask more. May be he didn't want to share so she should not force him. "Geet ! I want to say you something"

"What?''

"Umm actually I..I wanted to say that I .. nothing. Leave it. Let's go '' He could not utter a word. She didn't ask too. They both came back down and had their diner. Next day Maan had to leave for out of city for two days. He was not in Mansion and Geet, was missing him like anything. She did her school but missed her office visit. Naina didn't show in frame as seemed she was hell scared and missed her classes. It was evening of second day, since Maan had left. Geet was standing in terrace. It was time between late evening and earlier night. Surrounds were red-yellow-orange with beam of dusky sun. Geet was watching laying broad road before Mansion, seemed waiting for someone, trying to see far most edge of road but no one came in sight. She became dull. Remembering Maan and wishing, if she could see him, now.

As of Babaji was waiting for her prayer and a hand touched her shoulder. She knew who it was. Without wasting a moment she turned and engulfed in his arm. In Maan's arm and sobbed. "Please don't go away leaving me Maan. I can't live in peace without you'' She whimpered.

"But you are going away from me Geet, what about that'' Maan spoke in gloom accent.

Geet moved back, saw him. "Where I'm going?'' She asked

"Then why did you apply for Study Abroad Scholarship Geet'' Maan questioned back
