Part 14

Maan and Geet have been married for almost two months now, and in during those two months their relationship grew stronger, they understood each other so well. Geet was more comfortable with him, and Maan was just extremely happy.

In these two months Naintara gave birth to a sweet little chubby baby boy. Geet was with her the whole time. Naintara was so grateful for everything Geet had done for her that she wanted Geet to keep the baby's name.

Geet had chosen the name 'Ayush' for the little baby, and everyone was really happy with the name. Dadima felt truly blessed to have such a wonderful family.

Maan was cloud nine, his Geet took care of his family so well, she settled down with them so well that it didn't look like she's just been living with them for two months, it felt like she has been living with them forever.

Geet was in her room placing Maan clothes into the cupboard, Maan had just entered, tired from a long day at the office.

Geet: you're here, freshen up and i'll bring your coffee.

Maan smiled and entered the washroom. Geet made his coffee and made her way back to their room and saw Maan on the phone.

Maan: what seriously?

Phone: ...

Maan: when?

Phone: ...

Maan: yeah i'll be there for sure, at 8 right?

Phone: ...

Maan: okay, bye

Maan was really happy, he turned around and saw Geet.

Maan: Geet guess what, my friends have arranged a reunion party, I'm gonna be seeing them after ages.

Geet: that's nice.

Maan: and umm, would you like to come with me?

Geet: but what will do I there, I mean it'll just be you guys right?

Maan: no, most of my friends are married now, so they'll be coming with their wives. Raj and Priya will be there too.

Geet: ohh okay, then i'll definitely go with you.

She said with a smile to which Maan also reciprocated.

The next day Maan went to work and Geet completed her daily routine, after she finished, she made her way to her room and tried to pick out what to wear. She was too confused.

Maan returned home and saw Geet placing a suits in front of her and looking into the mirror, and making faces.

Maan: wear the white and red one, you'll look even more beautiful

Geet was shocked, she had not noticed Maan there.

Geet: aap, app kab aaye?

Maan: just now.

Maan was waiting downstairs for Geet, he was dressed in black trouser and a black shirt with his sleeves folded up and the top three buttons opened. He looked mind blowing. Geet made her way downstairs in a red and white anarkali suit which Maan had gifted her a few days back, she looked really beautiful. Maan was once again mesmerised by this beauty.

Maan: Geet you look really beautiful.

He said with a smile and lost in her eyes, Geet could only blush.

They had reached the party venue, it was decorated amazingly, with lights, people talking away, laughing.

Maan walked over to the other side of the car and opened the door for Geet and moved his hand forward. Geet happily placed her hand in his and steeped out of the car.

It was the first time she had come to an event like this, so she was kind of nervous, plus she hardly knew anyone. Luckily Priya will be there, she thought to herself.

Unknowingly she held Maan's hand, Maan was surprised and looked towards her and good make out that she was nervous. He tightened the grip.

Maan: Geet you don't need to worry, I'm there with you always. If you're feeling uncomfortable we can go back.

Geet: no it's okay, as long as you are there with me I'm okay.

They made their way inside and were greeted by many people. Raj and Priya were also there. Maan was by Geet all the time, he never left her alone. He introduced her to all his friends, and Geet was really happy meeting them. She got along with all their better halves.

Maan: Raj, where are those 3?

Raj: which 3?

Maan: Viraf, Tacker n Sid

Raj: haha yeah they should be here somewhere.

Voice: Khurana

Maan turned around and saw the person who called out to him. It was Tacker, well Karan but Maan always called him Tacker and Karan called him Khurana

Maan: Tacker, long time man, where you been hiding?

Karan: I know Khurana, just busy with work man, oh hey meet my wife Tanya

Tanya was a lovely lady dressed in a light blue dress. She greeted Maan.

Karan: and you Khurana, I bet you're still single

Karan laughed, Maan just smiled.

Karan: you know Tanya, Maan was always into his studies and sports, he never spared a glance at girls and the girls were always behind him.

Raj: Karan you wanna know how Maan love story, I'll tell you.

Maan: (to Raj) shut up man, (to Karan) anyway meet my lovely wife Geet.

Karan was shocked, Maan had got married.

Karan: oh my god, you got married... oh sorry hi Geet

Geet: hi

Geet, Priya and Tanya were chatting amongst themselves and the gents were talking about their stuff.

Raj: look there's Viraf and Sid.

Viraf and Sid met up with Raj and Maan and did the manly hugs.

Karan: guys, you won't believe it our Maan has got married and if you hear his love story you will never believe it.

Sid: haha really, well it's quite surprising as Maan was never into girls.

Viraf: well aint you gonna introduce us to the girl that made MSK go crazy?

Maan was turning red in embarrassment, his friends never left any opportunity, they were teasing him so much.

Viraf: oye Maan stop blushing, and introduce me to my Bhabhi.

Maan: wait

He called out to Geet, she came to him and met Viraf and Sid.

Sid: she's really sweet and innocent types.

Maan: yeah she is.

Sid nudged Viraf and indicated him to look at Maan, who was once again lost in Geet, she was laughing away with the girls.

Maan was once again embarrassed.

Maan: anyway leave me, where are Misha and Pooja?

Viraf: oh they went to the ladies room.

Sid: oh yeah, they've been there a while now.

Raj: ladies

They all started to laugh.

Voice: what are you guys laughing about?

Viraf answered without turning back.

Viraf: oh nothing, just that my wife went to the washroom 20minutes ago and she still isn't back, wonder what she's up to.

Maan: uhh Viraf if I was you, I'll turn around.

Viraf: why?

Karan: just turn around dude.

Viraf turned around and saw Misha. She was dressed in a lovely pink dress, and Pooja was in a white dress. Both ladies were looking very lovely.

Viraf: hehehe Mish, baby I didn't mean to say that, actually Sid was saying that about Poo.

Pooja: what, (to Sid) Sid did you really say that?

Sid: what no no, why would I say that, I know you must have caught up with someone.

The crew started to laugh, and Misha and Pooja joined in. They were all catching up after a long time, remembering the good old days.

Viraf: Mish, Pooja you guys have to meet Geet.

Misha/Pooja (confused): Geet

Viraf: yeah Geet, Maan better half.

Misha: what Maan, you have got married.

Pooja: Maan you're married.

Maan: why are all you guys getting shocked knowing that I got married..

Karan: it was not expected from you that's why dude.

Pooja: well where is she?

Misha: yeah I want to see the girl who made MSK crazy

Maan: haha its funny how you and Viraf said the exact same line.

Geet was introduced once again to the crew, Misha and Pooja really liked Geet. All the ladies were chatting away.

Viraf: okay enough chatting now, let's dance.

Viraf led Misha to the dance floor.

Sid led Pooja to the dance floor.

Karan led Tanya to the dance floor.

Raj led Priya to the dance floor.

Maan led Geet to the dance floor.

All the couple were dancing away to a slow romantic number, they were all lost in the other's eye. The evening came to an end, and they all made their way back.

Maan fell asleep straight away feeling really tired and he had to go office early tomorrow. Geet laid awake adoring Maan while he was asleep. She definitely was in love with him and she had to confess now. She moved towards Maan and placed a soft peck on his forehead, she's been kissing him on the forehead while he's asleep for the past few days now.

The next day Maan went to work and Geet was sitting with Dadima, Naintara and Anwesha.

Anwesha: Geet Bhabhi, do you know what date it is tomorrow?

Geet: yeah it's 30^th October.

Anwesha: yeah but it's also Maan Bhai's birthday.

Geet: ohh okay, are you planning anything special?

Naintara: that's the thing Bhabhi, Maan Bhai doesn't like to celebrate his birthday.

Geet: ohh

Dadima: but I'm sure of we arrange a surprise birthday party this year, he won't mind.

Dadima said smirking at all the ladies. They ladies were discussing the party arrangements, something cropped into Geet's mind.

After discussing all the arrangements, Geet made her way to their room smiling and blushing and closed the door.

Maan came home, and they all sat in the hall chatting away and eating snacks. Maan was playing with little Ayush and chatting with Ahana, Geet adored the sight in front of her.

They all retired to bed that night, Maan was sleeping and Geet was once again adoring her sleeping hubby, he looked really cute whilst asleep.

She prayed a silent prayer, wishing to Babaji that her idea will be successful tomorrow, she moved towards Maan and placed a small peck on his forehead and pulled his arm a little up and fell asleep in his arms with a smile.
