Geet and Adi made their way to the office, all the while Geet was wondering at her own actions, what is making her move, what is forcing her to let her follow Adi sir, why she is not able to think of the past and stay away from going to and meeting Maan, she was in a total confused state that she didn't heard of what Adi was talking to, she was deeply lost, then she thought if bapaji has decided something for her, all she need to do is follow his steps without bothering of what is going to happen, whatever bapaji decides is for her good alone. She smiled at her conclusion of easing her confusions and looked outside to see the Delhi traffic, it was a mesmerizing sight for her, she was for a while taken back to those days five years back when she realised her love for Maan, thinking of her realization Geet blushed. Adi who was observing Geet looked skeptical and shook her to come back to sense. Geet looked at Adi and was back to her grim serious expression and this time she didn't let herself take back to the past but was thinking of how to face Maan, what would be his questions and how would she defend for her actions, she was thinking of all possible ways in which Maan would find fault in her actions and was preparing herself on how to refute him, this made her mind occupied and her spirit lively.
Over there Maan was getting restless he kept on walking up and down, reading some files with least concentration, messing up his own work and surprising his office staff, they were indeed shocked and surprised to see this new avatar of Maan, they were scared yet enjoying this newness happening in office, suddenly Sasha entered office, her face burning in rage yet totally afraid to be near Maan, she was going mad at what is happening and is scared of how things are going to turn out to, she walked towards Maan's cabin but didn't see him there, she went in and around the office but couldn't see Maan, when asked to others they said Maan was here few minutes before her arrival and they didn't see where he went, ignoring others concern for her Sasha called Tasha to be there and look for Maan, both Sasha and Tasha were searching for Maan like some mad people when Adi and Geet came into office, Geet's entry silenced the whole office and whole of office were perplexed, Geet was indeed puzzled on why is she still here, why couldn't she not agree to Adi but since now she is here let her face whatever comes by and anyway she is least bothered by what people think and say of her, her eyes caught Sasha and Tasha, she slowly made way towards Maan cabin that all previous memoires were coming up to her, her first day in office to her last day, her smiles, laughter and tears and fears, all those emotions were coming up in her, she was holding back tears and smiles, she was feeling mixed emotions which are hard to explain. Geet was walking towards her cabin and saw it still left unoccupied, she wondered on whether Maan had any secretary or not, then she was Maan's cabin and slowly walked inside, she could feel the same feeling she used to feel whenever she entered the cabin, she could still smell the same air which she left behind long back, she stood there gazing at each object kept over there, she was now least bothered of the stares and glares by other staff members, she was least bothered by Sasha's and Tasha's reaction, all she was looking for now was Maan and where is he ? She never thought that on reaching office her eyes would desperately long for him and this made her little embarrassed on the thought that he is now married but still she wished to see him and even talk to him. Suddenly from nowhere she felt the presence of someone in the room, her heart skipped a beat, she didn't want to turn back, she knew who it was, she stood there as if is not aware of the presence of the person, Maan came near her, he cleared his throat to make her turn to face him, slowly she turns to face him, she sees a subtle smile over his face and looks at him her eyes filled with endless questions of whose answers even he might not have, her curious questioning look irked Maan, he looked up the ceiling and then again at her, this time he saw in her eyes longing to speak to him, her eyes met his eyes, silence were surrounded and in the silence their eyes spoke volumes, volumes of tales, tales of five years, tales of their separation, it was filled with pain, tears, agony yet was cherished with endless unconditional love, the speaking of eyes continued till Sasha opened the door and entered in the cabin. She looked at both Maan and Geet, anger was raging in her but her fear for Maan would not let her outburst, she even doubted on Maan learning about how she and Tasha planned out make this marriage happen.
"Actually MK, I came to see are you alright?"
Geet felt embarrassed now, Maan noticing Geet's embarrassment glared at Sasha. That was enough for Sasha to leave excusing herself; Sasha on the way cursed herself for not finding better sentence to say. She now made it sure that Maan knew about her plan and that's why he now called Geet. She was thinking of preparing a long speech to justify her actions and convince Maan that she did nothing wrong.
Back there in cabin Geet was about to speak to Maan when his phone rang, while talking in phone Geet noticed Maan is looking worried, as soon as Maan kept the call Geet asked "is everything ok?"
Maan looked at her worried and replied "No, it was call from city hospital, they asked me to come immediately"
"Why all are fine?"
"No Geet, it's about dadima"
"What happened to her?"
Now Maan looked at her puzzled "Geet you never knew that dadi was in comma?"
"No, but how can I know, I was hardly in touch with all for past five years"
Maan still looked confused, he who was about to leave the cabin now stopped and looked at her "Geet this happened five years before only, for the past five years Dadi is in comma"
Now this was the time for Geet to look puzzled, Maan catching her puzzled expression asked her to accompany him to city hospital, Geet nodded.
"I will tell you what happened on the way."
