whatever Geet told Maan about what happened with her and how Dev took advantage of her naiveness I don't find any reason to make her behave like this...
it is entirely on a person how he/she take any incident...some take small small incidents to such an extent that life becomes a burden and some people take very big incidents very lightly and fight against it bravely...here Geet is behaving totally immature...
Dev betrayed her but he never touched her intimately...nor she was abused physically and sexually...she also was not even love with him...their relation was just casual and friendly...he never misbehaved with her then why she is taking it so seriously...she must be hurt by people talk but would people stop talking if she make herself miserable...
yes it hurts when somebody whom we take as our close friend betray us but when we don't have any emotional connection with a person then that betrayal can be forgotten very easily...
this is true story happened with me also----my alliance was fixed with a guy and he secretly loved his cousin...in North India we can't marry cousins so his family was against it and obviously it was arranged alliance so my family and me didn't know about all this...even his sister used to call me bhabhi and she was attached to me so much...on engagement day we all were waiting...guests were waiting for hrs and they never came...engagement was fixed to happen in the morning traditional way...in the evening when my father called them then he got news that the boy fled with his GF and they have even married secretly...it was shock initially for meand my family nd relatives were talking rubbish but I never felt anything because I thought ----thank God I am saved...what if this happen after marriage...after this his sister became sick--she thought how will she show me her face because she was my collage mate also then I send message through our common friend that----why u are thinking that much...if this all happen after marriage...will u then be able to see my life get ruined...what ever u do with ur brother I don't know because it is ur family matter but for me don't feel bad...and we will be friendly like before...
