"maan aap yaha '' geet excitedly said. She asked jumping in his arm. He clutched her tight, more then any dying man could hold his last breath .. she was unknown from his state. She was in her own world when she felt something warm, something wet on her neck then shoulder. She parted and shocked to see , her maan had tears which he tried hard to hide but could not. And now he did want to hide it anymore. His gaet had right to see his pain.. his turmoil, his everything was of her n her only. Whether it would be his smile or tears. He dint want to hide any single expression of his life from her.

"maan aap ro kyu rahe ho '' she wiped his tears being restless. She pulled him to a empty class room and asked worriedly. He smiled and kissed her forehead. He hugged her again not wanting to leave for a second. She was in his arm , oblivious from surrounding but no one was there as it was class time. " maan !! '' she again called . Her voice had pain of him. He looked her. He dint want to make her sad so he composed ..

"kuch nahi geet .. bas kuch soch ke aansoo aa gaye ''

"kya''

hmm..yahi ki meri geet ko iss saal (year) bhi isi collage me rahna parega '' he said pulling her closer

"matlab ?? ''

matlab ye geet .. ki tum padhti to ho nahi .ab fail karogi to yahi rahna hoga na.. '' he tried to distract her mind and succeed

"kyaa.. '' her mouth was O shape .. " what did you say maan.. I ..i would fail haa..'' she started hitting him in anger .. he enjoyed her antics.. lovingly. He hugged her again.

"geet ek baat puchu ''

" geet .. tum mujhe bhulogi to nahi na ''

she looked him confused . his pain was visible from his voice and geet felt it.. but she dint get meaning of his words. " per why would I forget you maan , aur aapne asa kyu pucha ?'' she innocently asked.

"ase hi ..wo I had seen a movie where girl forget her lover.. to mujhe laga agar kabhi tum mujhe bhul gayi to .. I will die geet I swear.. ''

"shhh.. she stopped saying more .. "maan agar kabhi mai aapko bhul gayi to aap ho na mujhe yaad dilaane ko .. aab aapko wada karna hona ki agar mai aapko kabhi bhul gayi to bhi aap mujhe kabhi akela nahi choroge .. wada''

"hmm'' he nodded .. he knew they could not be separated, never. He kissed her cheek. She did same.. she kissed his both cheeks. He enjoyed her open gesture with him. He decided to tease her ..

" .tum kabhi sharmaati nahi geet .' he thought now she will turn red.. but..

"kyu .. '' she asked innocently ..

"kyu ka kya matlab geet .. do u remember you are girl .. larki geet.. you said on our first date na.. so you should be shy sometime .. hmm''

"oh woo.. haa .. per maan aapko yaad nahi ..aaj subah hi to sharmaai thi .. ab mai ek din me isse jyada nahi sharma sakti ..agar aapko pasand ho to aap hi sharmaao na ..hmesha mai kyu '' she said making puffy face..

he laughed.. " geet u know.. you are single piece.. ''

"haan jaanti hu ..aur wo single piece sirf mere maan ki hai .. hai na ''

"hmm.. sirf meri '' he said.. " aur humesha meri rahegi '.. mujhe dadimaa se baat karni hogi ..'' he thought hugging her close..

At evening maan with dadi returned to guest house. Maan had to make dadi understand. And dadi too wanted to talk him. Both were tensed and obstinate. Maan knew why dadi was worrying about and dadi knew she could not ruin her child life.

"maan aap samjhte kyu nahi.. geet is not right girl for you beta.. I know she is very sweet and nice girl but I just cant take risk for your life maan..

"per dadi..mai geet ko nahi chor sakta.. I cant live without her .. please dadi dont say me to leave her.. I cant ..''

'' maan I know you love her.. I like her too beta but what something happens after marriage.. what if she would get her memory back and would forget you.. I would not see you suffering for whole life.. '' she had tears..

" dadi I know what is fearing you.. m very well aware for why you not wanting me to marry her.. per dadi .. I trust on my love ,on me.. if something happens after marriage I would handle, we would handle together dadi.. dont you have trust on me ..

"nahi beta... I have..but I am just scared for you.. I know you cant live without her. how would you control yourself when if she forgets everything.. . You cant manage now only with single thought of without living her, how would you manage after then.. I would not see my only child in pain maan.. please try to understand me..

"dadi you own saying na that I cant live without her, even a single thought of leaving her killed me, can you think I will be alive leaving her for ever.. I will die dadi..please dont do this to me .. and I promise I will make her remember everything if something happens to her.. she is my responsibility dadi, your responsibility.. can you turn your face from your child pain.. you know she is only for me in this whole world.. she mean world for me dadi.. please ..'' he was worn out.

"maan !!'' dadi was total shocked to see him. She knew what is geet for him and for her too. She loved geet also. It was just she was worrying for their future but now she knew they will manage whatever would happen. She had blind trust on her maan.. she agreed...
