Emotional turmoil was so much.. she was tattered ..she was worn out if someone..some other girl would be there at her place she would have left her dying father to die ..but will not be able to face the life the attached humiliation that was coming with each and every act of hers.. tears were dried..the small single happiness that she used to see with her father will be a long lost dream..

Geet was looking at the black dark sky it was one in the morning she had reached at her place completely drenched..strangely today the heavens have poured for her misery that she gladly accepted as her fate ..somewhere she herself was the reason of her life.. the pain that unwanted ache will kill her she knew ..

Lekin jo anchaha dard ek zindagi ko gawakar milega use na chahte hue bhi sehan nahi kar sakegi wo… she wont be able to live without her father , she will ever remain unmarried but wont let her conscious self to leave her father's hand…

Geet leaned on the cold wall ..she looked at the messy place.. it was almost a day she had been here ..she looked around and found her father's medicines lying aimlessly … closing her eyes she holded the rim of the bed where her father laid… a small smile adorned her lips… she drifted into the sleep..unknown to the stains that she was having not only on her clothes but also on her body ..that she herself inflicted on her soul…

FLASHBACK…

Today was the first day of the college geet was getting ready ..she had kept her books her belongings everything in her bag..she was excited she and her father had shopped a lot that geet wanted..inspite of her dome protests her father made her take whatever she wanted .. geet never remember her mother for her her mother just gave her birth and she respected her mother may be there was a small amount of love in her heart but the enormous amount of love respect gratitude she was having for her father couldn't be competed with anything..or anyone…

For geet her baba meant her whole world..his one command his one wish was her life… and for him his daughter was everything..he knew she will never let him down…

Geet neatly tucked the pink color duppata on her neck covering her with modesty ..from today she had decided to dress up like this only though she will wear some western too but still she can see the pride and honour in her father's eyes when she occasionally wears suit…

Geet looked at her self she was ready for her first day …

Geet: mujhe pata hai baba mujhe aise dekhar bahut khush honge..

A beautiful smile was there ..her eyes were glittering with the coming happiness that she is going to see in her father's eyes.. her hands still wet with anticipation

She looked like a cute Barbie doll but still.. geet looked above and called her all time savior babaji…

Geet: babaji .. please aap please dhyan rakhna ..aaj main nahi houngi ghar par aur wo bhi pura din toh baba ko yaad dil wa dena about his medicines ..aur sab kuch theek se karna..aur haan ye bhi dekhna that he eats on time and dhang se.. aap toh jaante ho that my baba needs his geet everytime…

Geet did her work she literally bribed her babaji..

Geet: aur phir this Saturday ko I will come to meet you at gurudware na..and then we will continue there babaji…

Geet came looking all tensed and when his father looked at her she smiled ..forming a small cute dimple.. his father didn't know that geet will wear this when most of the children specially girls are more worried about their looks their clothing..but his baby girl was all looking good and sober..she didn't want to say anything but will not say anything in her praise too after all apne baba ki hi nazar lag gayi toh…

Mohindar made geet ear, now geet was getting fussy ..she wanted to go by herself and that too alone…

Mohindar: gudiya dheere se kha you will choke… but geet didn't paid any heed she nodded in a NO… and continued eating fast fast … literally stuffing food in her mouth..and she hardly had one paratha…

Geet: baba I will be late ..and pehle hi din I don't wanna be late na..aap samjho na…

Mohindar in a strict tone told her not to worry he will drop he but she wanted to go alone…

Mohindar: I will drop you baby ..now eat slowly ..

Geet made a baby face…

She looked at him..

Geet: I want to be by myself baba.. I am big daddy's girl now..she said smiling wide hugging her dadda …..

A loud thunder brought her out of her dream which once was a reality ..she was shivering still her clothes were wet with the rain.. her damped hair..her eyes swelled .. strangely the coldness in her eyes was not anymore …

Geet tried to get up but the physical ache of the moment that she spent with him made her to crumbled and to fall down again…

She hugged herself folding her knee…. And cried bitterly …

Geet st: baba maine kuch galat nahi kiya …nahi samajna galat mujhe … agar aaj khud ko tabah karke aapki beti ne aapki zindagi bachai hai.. aapke liye khud ki aabru ka sauda kiya hai toh bhi wo jeeti hai…. Zindagi me sab kuch sun sakti hun .seh sakti hun… bas apne aakri umeed ko khone se darti hun…..

Ye zindagi bhoj ho jayegi baba kabhi bhi mujhe chodna mat…. Mar jayegi aapki geet baba….
