Part1: New town/Reminiscing old memories
Geet sighed heavily as she entered her new-bedroom. Her gaze wandered around the walls, it wasn't very good interior she thought. However she shouldn't forget that this place was nearly 100 year sld.
"God I miss home", Geet muttered softly to herself.
She then scrutinized the draws the cupboards incase of any creepy- crawlies she was absolutely petrified of insects and animals. As she closed was about the close the cupboard a moth came flying out '. Flashback 2 months ago:
"Are you ready beautiful? We are getting late!!" Dev yelled from across the hall.
"Just getting ready handsome, Geets voice trailed off when '..
"Ahhh" she screamed cacophonously.
Dev quickly ran into the room his face perplexed as he saw his so called girlfriend jumping up on the bed talking to a spider which she was terrified to kill. It wasn't even a spider it was a tiny ant.
"I will kill you, how dare you enter my room. Just wait I will kill you! "Geet spoke to herself, which was perfectly audible enough for Dev to hear it.
Dev stood there in amusement. He was really enjoying this. Oh boy he was.
All of a sudden an idea popped into his mind, a cheeky grin had spread across his face.
In the next second he picked up the spider in his hand and started petting it. Geets jaw dropped. How could he hold that disgusting, horrible creature she self thought.
"D ... Dev what ar ...are you doing, put it down" Geet stuttered afraid.
Dev smirked and slowly started advancing towards her. She knew that look on his face. Now she was extremely terrified.
"I will put it down only on one condition?!" Dev stated. Before she could even ask what was the condition her alarm rang loudly. She automatically went back in her senses.
"ohmygod Dev we are getting late for prom, please let's get rid of this and leave asap.''
But Dev paid no heed he kept coming closer that was it'
"I accept all your conditions Dev I swear just please" Geet cried. By the time she knew it archers face was inches away from hers. They were so close that archer felt Geets soft breath fan his face. He was about to lose control'.
Flahback ends:
A solitary tear trickled down geets eye. Geet gets out of her review when her younger brother; Brig barged into the room aimlessly searching for something. She quickly wiped her tear.
"What is it?" Geet exclaimed
"I misplaced my psp and was wondering if it was in your room" he spoke cutely.
"Well it's not in here, if find it I will give it to you now go, go find it somewhere else" geet said.
"Fine" he said and ran away.
Geet *sighed* she then locked her room door. She sat on her hard-rock bed and decided to unpack'
She opened her suitcase examining it, making sure she has everything, when her eyes got fixed to a portrait which she made only a couple of weeks back '
Flashback to 1 week ago coffe shop:
"Jaan where were you, you know I have to tell you something very important and even today you couldn't reach early." Geet wined
"sorry janu this will be the last time, promise" Dev pleased " "okay now tell me what did u have to tell me" Dev said impatiently. " wait before u say lets order a coffee? ".
Geet rolled her eyes, she was not happy at all.
The waiter had arrived with the coffee
"Now tell me" Dev exclaimed!
"Are u sure? Or do u want to order some more stuff" Geet said sarcastically.
Dev had nodded his head sideways and pinched his ears apologetically.
"My painting got selected for the art exhibition downtown" Geet stated excitedly.
Dev was astonished he couldn't believe it!
"Really" Dev said
"Yeah" Geet said
"Oh my god!!" Dev said in excitement
He instantly picked her up and swirled her round and round.
End of flashback:
Teas now consistently welled in her hazel ' almond eyes. A sharp pain hit her heart like Needles piercing her soul. She couldn't bear the pain. She blamed herself for the death of Dev if she wouldn't have forced Dev coming earlier maybe his life would have been spared. She lay down on her bed cuddling her soft ' teddy bear. There was a giant whole in her heart and she knew nothing would ever be the same ' slowly she dozed off into deep slumber.
