Part 14

" I need you geet" maan said looked lost

"ji ??'' she shocked

"wo..i mean ki I need you for this job .. '' he came in his sense

she signed. "mai to kuch aur hi samjhi thi '' she thought. Inward she felt upset. She started to leave when maan offer her lift but she denied. She was standing on road side to grab any auto. Maan sat in his car when he saw her. She was alone and it was going darker when he saw a car approached her. He frowned. He was going to her when car light went on inside. He fumed to see it was rahul. He saw rahul slide down his car glass and geet bend down to him. They were looking like shadow. Maan could not hear them talking but his hold on steering wheel was going tight and tighter. His palm was truing red. His ear dying to hear their single word. Why geet talking him.. did she not know he was the only who trapped her in hotel. Then why.. Damn!! he banged hard on horn in frustration and it made a loud sound bringing back maan, to his real world.

He closed his eyes for calming him then open to shock.. no one was there. " where is she ?? '' he panicked. "kahi rahul ke sath ..NO..'' he started car and speed up to find her After going some far he stopped and turned his face to see .. she was walking and rahul was following her slowly in car. Maan anger got its peak. He took turn and crossed rahul car , stopped next to geet.

Geet jumped hearing screech sound. She turned side to see it was maan.

"maan..aap??'' she said confused as she thought he had gone

"geet..car me baitho …'' he said directly without looking her

"nahi maan..mai chali jaaungi...''

"geet I said sit in car '' his voice was cold. Geet scared . Seeing no option and it was now waste to deny him, she opened passenger door and sat. both left leaving a fuming rahul behind.

" Geet.. you did big mistake dear !!! '' he took his cell and called mohindar.

Maan & geet was silent. Maan was still fuming with no reason (or can say he did not want to know) he was lost in his thought with no topic anymore. He dint know why he was being angry or why he was giving pain of thinking to his mind when there is no reason for it but still he had to. He turned to geet, she was sitting silent looking outside of window. What she was seeing dont know cause it was total dark . Nothing was visible then what she was seeing ..

" geet !!'' he called..

"she didnt replied cause she was somewhere else.

"geet'' he called again..

he stopped car and tilt his head to see her. Her eyes were closed. She was not sleeping but half conscious, very tired. He could not take his eyes off from her. " you are so beautiful geet'' he said to him. His gaze went to her eyes went to her ear. A small pearl earring was moving in wind. "wind??''

"ye hawa (wind) kaha se aa rahi hai '' maan thought and then he noticed car window was open. " who opened this window '' he raised his hand to close window when his hand touched her hand. He pulled back in jerk feeling a current. He looked her . She was smiling, closing her eyes. " why she smiling ?? '' he frowned when he felt same current again with more force.. his body cell started dancing in response. He looked down to see, she was holding his hand softly.. he kept looking their hand when she turned to him and came closer.. coming more n more closer. He could not move .. he was numb. He looked her face. It was very ..really very close to him. He saw her lips moved and some familiar word came out..

"maan.. '' she whispered softly.. his ears went impatient in wait of hear next word.. she stopped.. he was waiting with thudding heart.. again her lips started moving.. his heart went more fast " maan.. I ..Lo." a sudden horn broke her sleep and so of his..

both jumped from their half sleep. Geet looked around in confusion. Maan turned his face other side in disarray. Both were not sure what happened. It was like dream. Geet composed herself. Was going to place her dupatta when came to know she was not able to move her one hand. She traveled her gaze and shocked to know it was holding maan's. She pulled in jerk caught maan's attention . He looked her hand then her face. " m sorry '' she said and shifted in corner feeling embarrassed. She looked time . It was night .. " babaji'' she whispered. "geet.. dont worry.. we will reach soon.. '' he said and started car in speed.

After 30 min they reached geet place. " bauji kya sochenge '' her heart was fearing. he saw her from car. " geet..'' he called . She turned back. " you have to join from tomorrow..hmm'' she nodded and looked down. He left and she rang doorbell.
