I have not watched recent movies from so many days but earlier when I used to watch movies, in any emotional scene whole family eyes would be on me to see tears pouring down my eyes. So can't name one.

He is Mr. Perfect. He plans everything and his plans are mostly failing proof. Ohh it's so tough for me to manage with his planning and he is very punctual. I am the one who keeps making him late. But girls get late with so much to handle, who will explain this to him.

His best time pass – Teasing me coz he know I can be teased so easily and he won't give up till he makes me completely mad.

Very possessive – this I realized when I went crazy about GC. He can praise any actor other than GC.

But above all, he is a very supportive husband.

ONE TRACK U WISHED TO SEE IN GHSP :

There were many things in later part of serial that were nice track and they left in middle or messed them up.

When Maan got bankrupt, I wanted them to show how Geet helps Maan build up his company again and wanted to see even how Maan struggles and then build up a company on his own along with Geet.

How their relation matures in this struggle.

After marriage, Geet would work in office and Maan encouraging her to continue her studies.

ANY INCIDENT IN YOUR LIFE THAT REMINDED U OF GHSP : NO, I don't remember.

IF U WERE DIRECTOR OF GHSP :

I would have never forgiven DEV and would have excluded the whole Amritsar gang with solid Maaneet track and story along with Dadima.

A FILM THAT YOU WISH TO SEE AS A SHOW IN TV WITH MANEET : Jab we met.

WHAT WILL YOU DO IF YOU SEE MAAN AND GEET ( AS IN FICTION CHARACTER ) IN REAL LIFE :

I will go crazy for real… either I will jump like crazy or will be numb… OMG Maan , I will kidnap him, sit down and niharofy him and Geet I will touch and see if anyone can really be so beautiful and sweetheart.

Now I can go wild writing this part, so stop.

When I would be back in sense would definitely ask and request them to come together once more as Maaneet.

HAVE YOU HAD DREAM ABOUT MANEET IF YES EXPLAIN :

When Geet was going on I used to get them sometimes but don't remember now.

YOUR FAVORITE SCENE IN GHSP AND TELL WHAT WILL YOU DO IF YOU ARE STUCK IN THAT SITUATION :

All scenes between Maaneet., just loved seeing them together. It was heavenly feeling to see them together in one screen. The magic between them would take me to different world.

If I was stuck in such situation, I would hide and see their romance. Viewing Maaneet romance with real eyes and their passion OMG.

DO YOUR PARENTS / COUSIONS / HUSBAN TEASE YOU FOR BEING CRAZY ABOUT A SHOW WHAT DO YOU ANSWE THEM :

It was Geet and only my husband knows it coz I cannot hide anything from him and I made him watch it with me. Even he liked the earlier parts very much but later when story started going down he did say that I just watch it coz of my craziness.

ONE THING THAT YOU HATE ABOUT GHSP ( MUST ANSWER ) :

The Amritsar Gang and DEV being forgiven. I can never forgive CVs for this.

INSPIRATION FOR FIRST FF / SS / OS :

I was a dreamer from childhood, I always used to go in with fictional characters and keep thinking about their story. This is crazy I know but it happened with me.

I always went on with different situations and imagine my characters in that. Mostly these would be influenced by movies, but I would join them to make my story. Never got chance to write, so when I saw FF on If with Maaneet, I knew here I could write and Maaneet would be perfect to put my imagination on page.

I even have written this when I started my first FF "You Never Know."

Basically all my FFs are improvised version of my childhood and college day's imaginary stories compiled from movies sequences. Also reading novels have helped me a lot.

But After "You Never Know" and mid of "Yeh Rishton kee uljhan" I came across FFs of muskanp, as I had heard her name so much that I had to go and read her work and then after I read her works (each and every single work)I was bowled over by the way she pours emotion. I from there on got a new horizon of writing.

Though my writing may or may not look like hers but after reading her work, I feel I definitely have been influenced.

ANY INCIDENT OR STORY OF FF THAT RELATE YOUR LIFE :

Not as such directly, but when I see anything or being in any situation my mind these days directly go on how to include it in my FFs.

Only for character – My father was a real dedicated professor, from where may be comes Maan of Innocent Love.

ANY CHARACTER OF YOUR FF THAT RESEMBLES YOU :

I don't think so, only I could relate little with Geet of "Yeh Rishton kee Uljhan" as I have a dream of doing a social work for girl child one day and I hope God will show me the path to do so.

Cannot point out one but whenever readers analyze my story in detail, either with criticism or with praise, it gives me immense satisfaction, satisfaction that I have somewhere been successful to touch readers heart.

Sometimes some readers write high words about my writing, It really feel so great I cannot express and then along with it comes the responsibility of not letting them down.

HOW YOUR LIFE CHANGED AFTER YOU STARTED WRITING :

It definitely has changed and that too for person like me who handles three FFs at a time. At start my family used to get effected in my craziness of writing but then I did not liked that as family comes first for me so I started managing it and stopped even typing anything in weekends or in family time.

The other change is, now whenever I see anything or be in any situation, my mind goes to my FF and how will it fit in my FF.

Like I went to casino and it was so beautiful and elegant, my mind went to fit it in my FF.

MESSAGE TO READERS :

What is the most demeaning thing said about you as a writer?

I have not got any demeaning comments and I am happy about it. My characters have been hated or loved but till now no one has questioned my writing and I feel lucky about it.

How do you react to a bad review of one of your stories?

As I said I have not read bad reviews of my stories till now as I try my best to be as logical as I could and when I go little out of logic I myself ask for forgiveness from readers before going ahead. But sometimes when readers question any of characters acts, I explain them the situation or if I feel I am wrong I do try to correct my writing.

Accepting mistake is best way to correct and improve yourself.

Would you ever write your own autobiography?

No, I don't think so yet.

Are there any occupational hazards to being a writer?

Yes and that is why I have decided to stop writing for few days after completing all these FFs.

Or then write one FF at a time.

As I am writing these, I will not stop in middle but I will not stretch any of my stories and finish them as story completes.

If you were going to commit the perfect murder, how would you go about it and would you write about it?

I cannot even see a murder scene in movie or TV, how can I commit it. I cannot imagine that part, No way.

Do you ever create the perfect situation and mood to help you write?

Most of the time while doing anywork my mind keeps thinking of my stories and whenever I get time i just have to pen them down.

haha, I somehow steal time to write the updates, creating perfect environment and all is a far away thing. Only thing is i just need a peace and me being alone in the room.

How do you handle a writer's block?

Take a break of a day or few and concentrate on other activities.

What is your writing bug, how often do you write?

This bug has bitten me badly and I really need to get out of it for at least sometime.

Whenever I get any free time, my first thought is of writing.

Even at work, when the workload is less, I think of writing updates. At home whenever I am free I will try to write.

Its kind of addiction and addiction of anything is not good.

What are the most important attributes to remaining sane as a writer?

According to me, being logical and emotional in your writing. Both have to go together.

Have you ever imagined yourself as a character in a story?

NO

What is the single most powerful challenge when it comes to writing stories set in the past?

Yeah, I am facing this problem in Roothe Piya.

This story is going in past and present together and characters of Maan and Geet have almost reversed in present from past.

Slowly the past is revealing but whole past has already happened and present continues on whole past that have happen.

Readers know only few part of past and they have so many questions as why is this happening, why is character behaving this way. All readers have different views, likes and hatred for characters based on present and little past revealed.

With so many questions of readers, taking the story at its own pace is a biggest challenge.

Do you research your stories and backgrounds?

No, Not much but I keep gathering facts from the real life situations, happenings and incidents

How much impact does your childhood have on your writing?

As I have already said, I was a dreamer since childhood and stories kept popping up my mind when ever I used to see movies or anything and I used to get lost in my own story.

But never got chance to write it, though I used to write poems in college days.

My father, though being in chemistry was much tilted towards and strong in Literature, both English and Hindi and he had liking for writing along with reading. Maybe it comes from there.

How do you feel about being interviewed?

To tell you truth, I really feel much honored. Honored, that you all consider me writer enough to be interviewed.

And I want to thanks all my readers for giving me your love and support and make me feel that I am a writer and my writing to some extent entertain you all. Though I am most of the time not able to reply you all back but believe me, each and everyone of your comment makes me feel so encouraged that I write three FFs at a time.
