PART 19

Geet was standing there, at kitchen door, listening all they talked. Her face was blank. Maan last words were echoing in her nave mind ' "geet me hai hi kya jo mai usse shaadi kar lu.. ' she looked maan without blinking. Her eyes had no tears, it was empty, like someone stole all happiness, and all savor from it. It was indeed not geet 's eyes.. it was deserted..

Dadi went to geet and tried to talk her.. " geet beta, aap kab aayi " dadi was hesitating. Geet did not reply. She was staring maan. She was standing like statue when doorbell rang. She quivered and came back in her sense. She left from there without saying a word. She opened door .. it was mohindar .. she smiled looking him. mohindar smiled back ..

Geet- papa, khana lagau "

Mohindar ' haa beta laga de.. aur sun wo savitriji aur maan ko bhi bula dena.. "

Geet nodded and went to kitchen where both dadi & maan were still stood, waiting geet to talk her. Geet went . she got busy in her arrangement. She was not saying a word or looking them, as they were not exists there. After settling dinner on table she went to maan and dadi. With bending head she meekly said ..

"dadi.. khana kha lijiye

Dadi- geet beta..humaari baat to' "Before dadi could complete geet left from there.. all sat on table excluding geet.. geet said she had had already with meera so she was going to sleep as feeling very tired. Dadi and maan understood. They looked each other. They were in guilt. How far they went in their play , could not realize. And when realized, it was already too late. Maan was not feeling well as geet dense face was hunting him. he wanted to talk to her so he excused himself without eating and went to geet room. It was locked from inside. He knocked but geet dint replied

Maan- geet, mujhse baat nahi karogi'

Geet- ---

Maan- geet , please ek baar darwaza kholo.. I want to talk to you geet..

Geet ---

Maan ' geet please '

Maan was being restless with each passing time. She was inside, alone, don't know how was she.. Would she be crying?? Please geet open the door' " his heart was pleading.. but there was no one to give him relief..

Geet was inside , laying on bed, thinking about what she heard. " kya mai sach me itni buri hu babaji ' kya mai unke layak nahi .. per geet agar wo tujhe pasand nahi karte to kya hua.. tujhe itna bura kyu laga ?? .. pata nahi per mujhe achha nahi laga babaji' ab mai unse kabhi baat nahi karungi.. waise bhi mai unke layak nahi to wo khud hi mujhse baat nahi karenge ' hmm

She felt chocked in her nave heart thinking he will not talk her ever.. it was something she could not want for a minute but was going to happen for ever.. her eyes were shedding silent tears as this time she wanted someone to share her pain.. her feeling her thoughts were confusing her.. and she was unable to solve it out.. she tried to think about her mother.. but could not. She had a pic of her so she went to cupboard and took it out. She hugged her maa photo and slept.

Other side maan was most restless. He wanted to see geet. after not getting her response his anxiety increased. He was walking in his room when dadi entered. She was seeing him restless for long. Maan could not sensed her presence in room, when dadi kept hand on his shoulder. Maan stopped and turned to her. Anybody could guess how disturbed he was. Dadi caressed his face like a mother.

Dadi she is not talking to me .. ye kya kar diya maine.. she is innocent like a child I gave her pain.. mai apne aap ko kabhi maaf nahi kar sakta dadi, I cant " dadi shocked to see this emotion in him for the first time. For dadi, maan was a mountain who could have never be shook.. but geet did miracle.. he was restless like a child.. dadi smiled inwardly and thanked babji for giving back life in his grandson, who was like dead living before.. she thanked geet heartily.

Dadi- maan ab galti ho gayi hai to pachtaane se kya faida.. aur fir aap to maan singh khurana hai .. aap ke pass to har problem ka solution hai

Maan looked her .. dadi was smiling.. maan smiled too understood her unsaid words and nodded.. dadi caressed his hair and left winking..

Maan made a plan and slept feeling quite relief'

Next Morning

Geet got ready for collage. She was still in foul mood. She went downstairs and informed mohindar , she is leaving while her eyes were searching for maan. But both maan n dadi were not there.. she asked mohindar, could not control. Mohindar said they have already left in early morning. Geet felt sadder as they left without informing her. Tears were to come out but she controlled and left.

She came out of house and surprised to see a '.. car parked front of her house. She looked around as to see whose was is this but no one was there. She crossed car when a man came running to her .. " aap geet handa hai " man asked. Geet nodded. " ma'am ye car aapke liye hai.. " she shocked and looked him.. " mere liye ??"

Yes madam.. Mr. maan singh khurana ne bheji hai .. aur ek letter bhi " he gave her a note. Geet opened and read

" meri gf ko uske bf ki taraf se chota sa gift"

she shocked to see this. " meri gf" this word did not effect her.. she gave note back to him ans said

" Maan ko kahiyega.. mai iis car ke layak nahi " and she left to catch bus'

Maan was looking from far. He felt more guilt. Her face showed how badly hurted she was with his words.. now what he was going to do to manaofying her, dint know.but he was going more impatient with each passing time.

Mohindar was in his house when someone knocked door. He opened when 8-10 men came inside and one closed door.

"kon ho tumsab.. " mohindar panicked

" Geet ko le jaane aaye hai " a man came from behind.. mohindar shocked to see it was raghav'

"kya bol rahe ho.. geet yaha nahi hai.. aur usse tum kaise le ja sakte ho.. ' mohindar tried to make himself free as men were trapping him.

" geet meri hone wali biwi hai .. aur mai uuse le ke hi jaaunga " raghav said with deadly expression.. he signaled his men to rope mohindar in a room and was waited Geet to come back from collage'

It was time to geet, come back from collage. Mohindar was struggling to be free. He was tightly roped and room was locked. Some men was there in room and rest were with raghav' raghav was sitting in hall and watching tv .. they were enjoying every thing in house. Then door bell rang. Mohindar eyes widen and raghav smiled evily.. a middle age man from goons opened door. Geet confused to see a new face in her house instead of mohindar as he said , today is was not going hospital.

Man looked her confused face.. " aree geet beta.. bahar kyu khari ho.. tumne mujhe pahchana nahi' m your uncle beta " geet was stood there confused when man tried to convince her more.. as saying he and mohindar are friends and he came here to meet him, but mohindar had gone to market so he is opening door.. geet now convinced. Her innocent mind could not doubt him. she went inside and man closed the door'.
