" kon tha wo" in night geet was laying on bed and thinking. she could not remember him . slowly her mind turned to maan. she smiled thinking how maan punished that manager. then his smiling face . geet closed her eyes and dossed thinking about maan.

next day in collage. there was annual function was to held after two days. every year principle invited any minister or local rich man. this year he came to know about maan. he wanted to invite him. so he sent a group of boys n girls to maan to request but maan denied. principle worried as it was only after two days and nothing was decided yet about chief guest.

geet was sitting in campus when she heard some girls were talking about some man.

G1- hayee tune dekha usse.. kitna handsome hai na

G2- haa yaar..mera to mann hi nahi kar raha tha waha se aane ka.. mera bas chalta to whi shaadi kar leti

All started laughing. they were busy in their gossips so how geet could miss this talking session.

" tum sab kiske baare me baat kar rahi ho "

G1- geet tumhe nhi pata.. hum waha gaye thy na invitation dene ..hayee kitna sona tha" she said with dreamy expression

G2- haa geet tubhi dekhti na to tu bhi yahi kahti

geet- per kisse dekhti ye toh bolo

G3- aree geet wo hai na Maan singh khurana.. jaha principle sir ne hume bheja tha.. usi ki baat kar rahe hai yaar..

Geet shocked hearing maan name. Some where she dint like his name from someone else mouth. She felt weird in her heart but dint understand. All girls were going fully ga ga over him and geet was fuming listening all these. A girl said some nasty about maan when geet ' sabra ka baandh tut gaya ' it was enough for her patience.

Geet – chup karo sab .. kisi bhale insaan ke baare me ase bolte hai kya..haan

G3- oyee hoyeee.. bhala insaan ..kyu geet wo tumhara kuch lagta hai kya jo ase gussa ho rahi ho

Geet- haa lagta hai … tumhe kya..ab ye sab bolna band karo samjhi

all girls now planned to tease geet more.

G2- sach me geet...kya lagta hai maan tumhara..boyfriend hai kya ' and all started laughing

Geet – Haan Hai … ' she blabbered without thinking its consequence. All mouth were like big ' O '

G1- kyaaa... sach me geet.. who tumhara bf hai

geet – haa hai.. hum to kitni baar mil chuke hai.. aur who toh mere ghar bhi aate hai ' she said proudly, wanting to make jealous to all, without knowing its consequnce.

A teacher was passing from there heard geet saying maan her bf. He run to principle and told everything adding some mirch masaala like maan was her fiance. Principle called geet to his office and asked does she know maan. She nodded. Princi smiled very fondly. His expression made geet more confused why he asking this things. She shocked when princi requested her to make maan agree for coming here as chief guest.

"kyaa" .. ' per sir mai kaise' she tried to make him understand but princi was not ready to listen anything. He blackmailed her saying collage reputation would be on stake type dialogues. Geet had to agree. He pressured geet to call maan now. "heyy babaji ..kaha fas gayi mai.. bacha lena' she prayed and dialed maan number. She looked princi who was looking her like a student wait for his final result. Geet chuckled looking his face. Now she started enjoying his attention

"hello' maan answered

geet- maan ..mai geet

maan- haan geet bolo

she looked princi who was hell trying to hear their talk. She gets irritated " ye budha jaan nahi chorega ase.. isko toh batana hi parega ab ' she thought.

"suniyeeji ' geet called maan lovingly. Maan shocked hearing this sudden wifey type Suniyeji'

maan- geet..tum mujh se hi baat kar rahi ho na

geet- haan ji.. aapse nahi karungi toh aur kisse karungi.. aap hi toh hai mere devta.. mere sabkuch' she laughed out inwardly looking princi expression and thinking about maan condition

maan choked.. ' isse achaanak kya ho gaya ' he thought. ' geet ..tumhaari tabiyat toh thik hai na'

geet chukled- haan ji mai bilkul thik hu.. who kya hai na.. mujhe aapse ek requset karni hai.. ' she was speaking very lovingly making maan more and more shocked.

'hmm.. ' he was busy in controlling his raised heartbeat because of her sweet talk.

wo .. aap ko mere collage me aaiyena... wo humara function hai na.. toh aapko sir ne invite kiya hai .. please aap aayenge na.. mere liye ..hmm'

Somewhere maan was enjoying her wifey talk. In his daze he accepted. Geet jumped and showed thumb-up to princi. In return he showed his complete false teeth set . Geet cut the call. Now maan realized what he did.

" ye larki mujhe sachmuch pagal kar degi.. mujhse har wo kaam karwa deti hai jo maine, aaj tak kabhi nahi kiya ' maan cursed himself

This news spread in collage like forest fire that geet is maan fiance. All were trying to talk geet and was giving her attention. Meera came to know all this. She scolded geet but dint understand . She was taking all this very easily.

At evening maan called geet.

Maan- geet ye sab kya hai ..tumne call kyu kiya tha' he was stern

Geet- aapko bataya toh tha.. invite karne ke liye' she replied normally

maan- who toh mai bhi jaanta hu ..per wo..wo sab kya tha haan

geet – kya wo maan.. mai samjhi nahi

maan- w..wo jo tum kah rahi thi ' he was hesitating asking

geet – maan mai kya akh rahi thi.. aap kuch bolo to ' she said innocently

maan- geet tumne mujhe invite kyu kiya

geet – kyu ki principle sir ne bola

maan – aur principle ne tumhe kyu bola

geet – maine sabse bola aap mere bf ho

Kyaaa... ' maan nearly fainted.

'maan...maaannn..aap ho ya gaye ' geet asked meekly

"GEET.. ye sab kya hai ...

'ye aawaj itni tej kyu sunaai de rahi hai ' geet thought

'Geet..Geettt ' maan shouted

'h..haann maan mai sun rahi hu ..itna jorse kyu bol rahe ho'

maan shaked his head. ' mai tej isliye bol raha hu .. kyu mai tumhaare piche khara hu Miss geet handa"

geet turned dropping phone on ground. ' m..aa.ann a.aapp (maan aap)

' haan mai ' maan was standing there crossing his arm.

'Toh miss geet handa.. kya ab tum mujhe bataogi ..ye sab ho kya raha hai ' maan asked glaring her

geet gulped. w..wo..ma.aan wo.. p .p pri..n.c" she was trembling.

Maan looked her feared face. Though he was very shocked and angry but seeing geet baby cry and terrified face he could not keep anger on her. He now wanted to tease her

"geet m waiting.. jaldi bolo'

' haan toh bol rahi hu na..aap thora time toh do sochne ke liye'

"geet.. tumhe bolne ke liye sochne ki jarurat kab se hone lagi haa.." he came closer

' wo..kabhi kabhi mai soch ke bhi bolti hu na ' she was moving back

'really … aur soch ke kya bolti ho .. ki tum meri gf ho ..hmm' he was now very close to her

she nodded no... ' mai aapki gf nahi..aap mere bf ho..' she said meekly as she was feeling dazed with this closeness. Maan smiled and looked in her eyes. It was brown. Maan found it very beautiful. they were lost when doorbell rang. Their trance broke. Maan moved back " ye mai kya kar raha tha " he pushed his hair back. Geet somehow gained her lost sense and run to open door.

' mohindar chacha hai ' a well build, goon type man asked.

Geet- nahi.. papa shahar se baahar gaye hai. Do din baad aayenge'

man looked her tip to toe and smirked. Geet dint like his gaze. She tried to shut door but he stopped holding door. Geet got scared.

Man- mujhe mohindar chacha se kuch jaruri baat karni hai.. kya aap mujhe phone se baat karwa dengi ..' he said eying her

geet was going to answer when maan came from behind. Man looked maan . He angrily asked ' ye kon hai '

geet -aapse matlab. Aap jaaiye yaha se

man – mujhe nahi pata tha ki mohindar chacha ne meri hone wali biwi (wife) ko itni chut(freedom) di hui hai .. ki wo raat me kisi paraye aadmi ke saath gujaare " he said with anger. Geet shocked ' biwi ' she thought when she realized maan was holding his neck with rage. maan couldnt bear her insult. He clutched his neck in anger.

'Maaan kya kar rahe ho..maan choro usse ..maan wo mar jaayega' geet screamed and tried to push maan but he was very strong for her. Man was struggling below his tough grip. He was choking hard for breath. Somehow geet succeeded to push maan from him. Man scared and run from there but not before threaten geet , be ready for consequence.
