Part 17

Somehow she managed to come out. Now she had to reach channi house as soon possible as brij had to come there to pick her. So she started to run faster in darkness. She was very scared and in no sense to think or understand anything. Suddenly she collided with someone and because of sudden force she fell down.

She got up instantly and moved back. Looked at him and said sorry in low voice. And started again walking fast. That man looked back to her, smirked and said" i am sorry geet "and smriked evilly.

Geet was breathing and panting hard. She had no strength to walk further. She was crying but could not stop otherwise no one knew consequence. And now she also could not go from main road otherwise brij or his men could see her. So she took rough pathway and heading slowly stumbling as sudden she felt someone is following her. Her eyes got wide. She felt it was her last breath. Her heartbeat was beating louder. She was sweating badly. She gathered her will again and started run as fast as she could. She was running . she heard some sound .. yes she sure someone following her. Now she heard someone calling her name. "babaji, kahi brij veerji ko pata to nahi chal gaya" she thought. She was running without any sense when sudden she tripped and going to fall when someone pulled her up forcibly.

"geeet " she heard and fainted.

"geeet.. geeet aankhe kholo ..geeet " maan was hell scared looking her angel in this condition. He was returning back to haveli in sukhilal jeep as it was getting late. He called brij and said he will come on his own. When suddenly he saw a girl was running on road. He followed her and found it was geet. He wandered why geet is here in this condition and started following her. He called her name but she started running faster. And when she was going to fall he pulled her in his arm.

Geet was unconscious. He lifted her and come to jeep which he parked side on road in a field. He was very sacred. " geet ..aankhe kholo ..geet please ankhe kholo " he was patting her cheek and begging her to open her eyes. He was not getting was to do. His life was going he felt. " geeettt please aankhe kholo please..." his voice was choking.

After sometime geet felt some conscious. Slowly she opened her eyes. Looked unknowingly here n there then saw maan , his scared pale face was saying everything. She remembered everything and instantly hugged him. Hugged him as tight as she had strength and crying her open heart. Maan got shocked first but slowly he hugged her back too. Feeling her safe in his arm, close to his heart. He closed his eyes for thanking everything n everyone who kept her safe and sound, from his heart.

Geet.. tum thik ho na " he asked caressing her back, Making her feel she is safe now. He wanted to hear only yes this time.

She said nothing ..only tightening her hold around him, to feel secure in his embrace. She was very scared to think right or wrong. She just had to be in there, in his arm, close to her maan.

Both been in each other arm for don't know how long. Slowly both felt their heartbeat was normal. Geet moved back but still sobbing, scared.

Maan ' geet.. kya hua geet, bolo na kya hua

Geet looked him. His tensed face, his red eyes, his feared body. She nodded no " kuch nahi maan. Wo..woh mai dar gayi thi. Mujhe laga koi mer..mera picha .." and she again hugged him. Maan caressed her hair keeping his chin on her head, keeping her secure near his heart. Giving her sometime to be normal. He dint asked after that anything. He only wanted her smile back. After about ten minutes maan felt her calm breathing, knowing she was sleeping peacefully in his arm. He smiled little. Carefully kept her on passenger seat and tied seatbelt. Drove back to haveli.

After half an hour geet woke up. She wandered where she was. It was dark and she feared with darkness. So she moved a little back to see it was maan there. She was with maan, in night , outside of haveli."babaji" she instantly kept her hand on mouth. She got nervous. "mai yaha kaise aayi. Inti sham me, maan ke sath... mujhe kuch yad kyu nahi aa raha "she self talked. Her head was aching. She kept her hand on head and closed her eyes. Slowly she remembered everything. She got worried and looked at maan who dint know yet she was awake.
