After sometime spending with her dad… she went to her office….she got busy with her work…
One of the staff called her…
"Geet boss is calling you…"
"Yes in a min"
She went inside her boss room…
"Yes sir…."
"Geet… hi….today we are going to Delhi…. For this new project…I arranged the meeting with the MD of that company…."
"Delhi…?"
She got shocked….she left Delhi 10 years back…now going there again is making her week…but she has to go for her dad…. She needs to be strong…
"Ok Sir…..I will be ready…"
Saying this she left the place….and started to pack things…she called her best friend yash….
4 years ago…. She was in a total mess….she gave up everything….her smile, her fun… her dad got worried…so he called yash… yash is her dad's friend's son and her old buddy….Geet,Maan and yash were used to be best friends in their childhood…but due to yash dad's work they left town….
After many years yash came after geet's dad called…Her dad explained the situation of geet….yash got concerned…. So he decided to talk with her….but she never listened to anyone…her mind is not in her control….
One day when her dad compelled her to move on in her life she shouted at him…
"Don't decide my future dad… please leave me alone…."
Their conversation got heated...her dad got attack in brain… he collapsed…she got scared and that time yash helped her…after few days she decided to move…. She left Delhi and went to Mumbai….. She never informed anyone of her friends… In Mumbai with yash's help she completed her MBA… she got the job as architect in a good company and seeing her hard work she got the promotion as chief….throughout her struggle yash was with her…she shared everything with him…..he is her support….
"Hello yash….."
"Yes geet… tell me…."
"I want your help… I am leaving for Delhi today will be back within two days... it is office work….will you take care of dad?"
"Sure geet…but Delhi..?"
She can sense that he is worried….
"I know yash but I have to go…ok byeee…"
"Okay geet take care…."
She got inside the car with her boss and the car started to Mumbai airport….After discussing about the project with her boss…she got lost in her thoughts…about her maan….
-Flashback-
After three years since maan left...she was in very bad situation….there was no phone or message from him…she locked herself and never came out….she only used to come out when her dad calls for dinner or lunch etc….she used to work mechanically…..Days passed months passed….. but no call from maan….after some days maan's mom and dad were planning to move…when she enquired about why they are leaving they said that….maan completed his MBA...and got loan for starting a new company... She felt very happy…but she still has that guilty conscious… so she never enquired about his whereabouts….
After Maan's mom and dad left, Geet's dad received the news that maan is returning…. So he went to talk with him, but geet rejected to come to meet maan….
Her dad got more concerned about her…. He tried to explain to her…But she was nowhere to listen…she wanted to punish herself…
"Geet…. until when you're going to be like this…. Why you're not taking with maan? , He asked about you and wanted to meet you..."
"Dad… I want him to be successful…. I can't say him that I love him….because it will be like… today he is successful that's why I am saying "I love you"…it will be like I am selfish….I can't express my love to him dad….no ever in this life…."
"Don't be like this geet….maan will never think like that…"
"I know dad…..but I can't…"
Her dad got furious…..
"Till when you're going to be like this….when will you move on in your life…?"
She got angry and started to shout….
"Don't decide my future dad… please leave me alone…."
Saying this she left to go to her room…then suddenly she heard her dad shouting… "GEET…." She turned to see her father lying down unconscious….then with the help of yash she took him to hospital and doctor said that he got major attack in brain….they need to operate…. But the operation was not successful… he went to coma….this was major shock to geet….yash consoled her…and took her with him…
-End of Flashback-
Her chain of thoughts was broken by her boss…. "Geet….in dreams ah?"
"No sir…nothing like that…"
"We have reached the airport….come on get going..."
After they reached Delhi…..they went to their respective rooms….After getting fresh, Geet joined her boss for the meeting…..Meeting with the MD of Khurana Constructions…..
They reached the place of their meeting…. Geet and her boss were waiting…. Then they heard the footsteps….Geet turned back to see some familiar figure… she rubbed her eyes to have a clear look…she can't believe her eyes…. It is him…. It is her maan… "Maan…"
She stood up looking at him….. She smiled seeing him… he was looking handsome in the office attire…..
When her boss told about the meeting with MD of KC….she got a bit doubt…..but she has to attend this meeting so she didn't think much about that the MD could be Maan….
Both were looking at each other after 10 year… their eyes were speaking….. Without blinking they got lost in their dreams….Then Geet's boss broke the silence…
"Hello Mr.Khurana…"
Both came out the trance…..
"Hello Mr.Chopra…"
Both shook their hands…and her boss introduced geet…
"Mr Khurana…she is our company's chief architect…Miss.Geet Handa"
He looked at her and both gave a smile…. Then Maan said…"Let's discuss shall we..."
Everyone sat down and started to discuss about the project…
Maan eyes were only on geet...…where as geet was not able to meet his gaze…..They completed their discussion….
"So Mr.Khurana…I am so happy to join hands and work with you…"
"It is my pleasure Mr Chopra..."
"So...Geet you will be assisting Mr Khurana in this project… as both our construction companies are joining hands on this dam construction… it should be the best…."
Hearing working together…Geet hesitated….
"Working together…? Err….Sir…"
But she has to do this because she will be getting money for her dad's treatment…but who will take care of her dad if she is in Delhi…?
Her boss got the reason behind her hesitation….
"Geet….I know your reason behind hesitation…"
Maan was thinking what if her boss knows about the past here their conversation….but he was just listening to them and Geet wanted to stop her boss from revealing about her dad…because if maan comes to know about her dad's condition he will not look back and he will take care of him….as her father is the only person who understood maan totally….
"Yes sir….how can I manage?"
"Geet….don't worry we will take care the situation there….I am here for you….just work on this project…"
Both Geet and her boss were talking and maan was just listening to their conversation calmly….
"And Sir I will inform my friend also…he will take care..."
Maan was happy knowing that his geet is here…and she is also going to work with him….He decided that he will make her fall for him and she will be his…
"So... Miss Geet…. I am happy to work with you…"
Maan forwarded his hand… but geet hesitated…..
"Geet…"
Hearing Geet from his lips made her happy…. After a long time she heard her name from his lips…. She looked at him and their gaze met…unknowingly she forwarded her hand…. And both their hand joined…. He held her tightly making her come out of the dreamland…He was holding her hand very tightly not letting it go….Seeing her struggle a naughty smirk formed on his lips… After seeing her pain…he let go off her hand…..
"Now the fun begins geet…."
He thought to himself and gave his naughty smile…geet wondered seeing his new side…. He was never like this… but he has change… she got curious about his newly changed behavior…
"Why he is behaving like this?"
She thought to herself…..and looked at him who was only seeing her all the time…
