I apologise for the confusion! I'll try my best to simplify things for you:
Pinky's running away = she wasn't running from Geet, the past was playing on her mind so much that she had to confront Yash right away. Pinky told Geet she wouldn't take Yash seriously, it was a casual thing, but now it's developed into something more, she feels uncomfortable telling Geet because Geet isn't that fond of Yash, due to his reputation - e.g. his flirting with Geet when they first met.
Geet doesn't want Maan to know because Yash & Pinky don't want Maan to know, for reasons that will be revealed in due time. To save them, she's preventing Maan from finding out - hence the kiss, to stop him from going inside.
