Maan hugged Geet tight if possible anymore ensuring himself of her presence n she cried holding onto him pouring all her pain, opening all her wounds to be healed.

Words were never required between these two n so feeling each other so close they drifted into a deep slumber. Sleep which never even came closer to either of them in all these years of separation.

It was early morning when Maan felt Geet stirring a little in sleep. It was almost at the same time when they both opened their eyes with a divine feeling of having their love, their life, their soul so close to each other.

Good morning Jaan.. it was Maan who spoke very caringly breaking their trance. He placed a soft peck on her forehead.

Geet felt her eyes getting moist. It was so heavenly to hear this, as she used to imagine it many a times, looking at his picture n closing her eyes but today hearing it in reality, it was so overwhelming that she couldn't resist herself. As if on its own accord her hand moved towards his face to confirm that it's no more a dream.

Their eyes were always enough for each other to know what the other one is going through.

Bus aur nahi Jaan.. each of your dream will be shaped up into a beautiful reality.. He held her hand which was on his cheek very tenderly n said with love oozing out through each of his word.

But before anything n everything.. I need one promise.. a promise I would give my life for Geet.. he said with pain n insecurity visible in his voice

Geet looked into his eyes knowing the next set of words but before she could react, Maan took her hand n kept it on his head

Promise me not to leave me again.. Never to do this again.. Promise me Geet.. I'll not b able to take it again.. I'll d.. not letting him complete she placed the other palm on his mouth while nodding her head negatively

I promise.. I promise Maan.. I m sorry.. please.. mujhe maaf kar dijiye.. I promise Maan.. I.. saying this she hugged him tight n sobbed letting out the pain given by the distance, their separation.

Even if it was her decision which resulted into the vast darkness that engulfed their lives, their happiness, their togetherness but still a single drop of tear in her eyes was more than enough for him to turn the world up side down.

Shhh.. bus Jaan.. bus .. aur nahi.. He instantly took her in his arms, rubbing her back to eliminate each splotch of pain left by their dreadful past.

Maan pulled out of the hug what seems like ages. He placed a small peck on her forehead softly n was rewarded by a slight blush adoring Geet's cheeks.

But life had never been so easy for both of them. So as for now it was a loud ring of the phone which disturbed them.

He rushed n picked up the phone before the delay causes them a long teasing session but instead a smile crept on his face listening to his Angel.

It indeed was a beautiful morning of an all new day. A day which has brought happiness to those two souls who had been yearning for its mate.
