Geet went numb when she overheard Sameera talking on the phone

Arjun Bhaiya.. I can't come to Delhi in this condition. Doctor said its not safe for both, me n the baby

No.. the doctor said for 3 – 4 days complete rest.. so may b tomorrow or day after..

Her hands were trembling reaching the door knob; she recollected her courage n peeped inside. Her hopes came crashing down looking at the lady sitting on the hospital bed with huge belly. She felt a stab on her heart. She couldn't stand there a second more n made run straight towards her cabin.

What was happening with her? Why is it paining to even think about him being with someone? She only had chosen this for her then why n what is she fearing of? No, she is not get afraid, she'll face the consequences. But then why is there a twinge?

She left from hospital right away, not getting answers of any of those numerous questions. She reached home in pretext of packing for their Manali tour. Meera could feel the change in her but shrugged it off thinking may b because of the work pressure.

Next day they took an afternoon flight for Manali. The moment she stepped down, she felt an unknown breeze soothing her aching heart & making her forget all the questions that had been haunting her.

The drive to their hotel was nostalgic for Geet. She could remember each n every moment she had spent here 4 years ago with Maan. She looked around the beautiful sceneries with teary eyes as the thought struck her that when she stepped on this land the first time, she was Geet Handa n when she left, she was the luckiest women Geet Maan Singh Khurana.

All four of them, Yash, Meera, Geet n her angel, reached the hotel entrance. While the other three were engrossed in their chit – chats, Geet felt a strange pull towards this place. She entered inside n stood frozen recalling it to b the same place where she & Maan stayed during their last visit. She insisted on taking the room on a different floor as they were being given the rooms on the same floor as she had the last time.

Thankfully there was work to b done which engrossed her rather than sulking. They all had their dinner together n retired. But as always sleep was no where near her eyes. She was looking at the clock very intently n the moment it struck 12, she looked at Maan's picture lovingly n whispered giving it a peck closing her watery eyes

She kissed his picture n lost in thoughts of the day when she landed here in Manali for the first time

They've entered the hotel n were rushing towards their rooms as their flight got delayed & they had a presentation to b given.

Geet all set?Maan asked while walking towards their rooms

Yes SirGeet replied panting, trying to catch up with his pace

Ok.. go n change … & meet me in exactly 15 minutes outside the conference room

15 minutes??? Kaun si ladki 15 minute mein tayyar hoti hai?? She murmured

Hmmm.. did u say something? He stopped in front of her room

Hmm.. Haan.. Nnnoo ..no Sir.. nothing..She said nodding her head left n then right

Fine .. then see u in 15 minutes he said with an unnoticeable smirk

Sadu..she cursed him under her breath n entered her room

But before she could shut the door, the door got opened with a push n she was sandwiched between the now locked door & Maan's rock hard chest.

What did u just say?? Sadu… hmm he said looking into her eyes

Nnnahhhi.. meine .. Maan aap jaiye koi dekhega to kya sochega

I don't care about others n u know that very well.. his voice was husky

She closed her eyes feeling week on her knees

Maan .. presentation hai.. please

He placed a gentle peck on her forehead n left shouting

15 minutes..

Sadu… she screamed back n locked the door giggling

The presentation went really well n they were able to crack the deal. Although, it was Geet's first independent presentation, but by having Maan beside her, she did it wonderfully. She was so happy n so was Maan.

On their way back towards their rooms, Geet looked at her watch n said

Maan, u promised to take me to the ancient Pravati Maa's temple

Geeet

U knew I was so keen to go there n that was the only reason I took this project

I know Geet.. but..

No but wat.. we've wrapped up early n we're left with plenty of time so u r taking me there n that's final .. she said turning her face with a cute fake angered face

Ms Handa u r forgetting, u r talking to your boss..Maan said with attitude

She looked at him with shocked expressions

Bosss..

She lowered her eyes n said Sorry Sir..

N Maan knew that he had done a blunder

Jaan I was just joking.. please don't cry.. u know I can't handle this.. please

No Sir .. its OK.. she said meekly n walked towards her room

He held her wrist to stop her n came in front of her. Gently held her chin n made her look at him right into his eyes that convey only love for her. She got so lost in those chocolate brown eyes that everything around them was merely a blurred vision. He pecked her forehead softly.

Sorry Jaan.. Main sach mein mazaak kar raha tha.. Is it possible that my Jaan wishes for something n I fail to fulfill it???He asked narrowing his eye brows

I've already told the driver n we'll b leaving after 30 minutes. So go.. freshen up n get ready.. I'll see u in half n hour..he said with a smile to which Geet nodded n went away shyly, knowing he meant each n every word by heart

They were on there way to the ancient temple. Both have changed into traditional dresses as Geet insisted. Maan was wearing a Golden coloured silken Kurta - pyjamas whereas Geet in beautiful red anarkali suit.

Maan wasn't able to take his eyes off her ever since she had appeared out of her room, but was compelled to break his reverie as the driver asked about the destination.

Wo purana Parvati Mata ka mandir.. said an excited Geet before he could answer.

He smiled n shook his head seeing her getting so eager, but the smile didn't last long as he heard the driver

Par madam ji.. wahan to sirf shadi shuda log hi jaa sakte hai..

Maan instantly looked at Geet who got a thin line of salty water in her eyes.

Geet lets go somewhere else..he said composing himself to deviate her mind

She looked down to control herself as since last two weeks she had been so keen to visit this temple

Saheb ji.. yahan ka Shiv Parvati mandir bhi bahut phamous(famous) hai.. kahen to wahan le chalu??

They both reached the Shiv Parvati temple n prayed together for the others well being. Maan kept on observing her the entire time. She was upset, very upset but still tried to hide it knowing Maan wouldn't like her that way. But, the problem was, he knew her a little too well. They sat on the stairs of temple holding each other.

Geet.. Jaan.. please.. don't get upset.. I'll bring u here again immediately after our wedding.. promise.. he looked into her eyes showing the honesty in his words

Even before going for our honeymoon..n winked at her thinking this might cheer her up

But the reaction made him anxious when he found her shedding tears silently.

Geet?? asked Maan worriedly

Maan.. aapko pata hai.. main wahan kyun jana chahati thi??she said very softly like mere whisper

Kehete hain .. couples who pray together there.. can never b separated.. she said n hugged him sobbingly

Maan was blown away by her love, innocence n naivety. She made him fall more for her with each of her gestures. He felt a strong need to embrace her tight n protect her from this artificial, selfish world. Her tears were like needles piercing his heart.

Geet.. do u trust your Maan?? He asked cupping her face, looking straight into those beautiful hazels sincerely
