Finally finished your FOL also...

such a cute refreshing story...Maneet are so cute in this FF...
hayeee first school now adults... the way maan afraid of losing her again... awww... both are deeply in love...first they were not able to express...now they are expressing with cute gestures...sooo cuteee...waiting for their romance now...

~FLAVOUR OF LOVE~

PART-13

Later maan slowly pulled out of the hug...softly creating litle distance between them...then cupped her face in his palms, looking at her deeply...as if trying to read her pain, her unsaid words...geet looked down slightly feeling shy with their closeness...and awkwardly placed her arms around him, balancing herself in his hold...maan pushed her curls off her face...caressing her slightly red cheeks with his fingers...assuring himself her presence...

"you scared the hell out of me geet...don't ever leave me again...i thought I had lost you"

he whimpered pulling her again in his arms...hugging his life like never before...

Both lost the track, and melted into eachothers arms...closing there eyes, as the world around them came to a perfect halt...giving them a perfect silence to hear there thudding heart beats...geet felt safe and comfortable like a perfect dream...no worries, no fear, just a calm feeling enveloping them...maan held her fully against him, her head now resting on his shoulder...geet felt she could just fly, feeling weightless in his arms...they shared a hug, which was soft, gentle and warm...a hug where two souls bond together enveloping in their warmth...

Rain created a different magic, like adding more zeal to there first ever hug...maan could just hold her in his embrace, and stand their for the rest of there life...but then he could feel her shivering in his arms...he hugged her more tightly, cocooning her from this chilling rain...

Later maan scooped her in his arms, and carried her to his car...geet just hided her face in his neck, enveloping her arms around his neck, clinging close to his body...he gentle placed her in his car, on the back seat...then came from the other side, settling himself in...geet felt too shy to even look at him...just being in his arms, was enough for her to lose herself completely...and now just both of them alone in his car, with maan so close to her, made her shiver in and out...

Maan pulled her closer, holding her wrist, wanting her to be close...

"maan" she whispered, blushing, looking down...as he pulled her chin up, leaning over her face...there breath mingled as he came forward and huskily whispered on her lips...

"tumne meri jaan hi nikal di thi" geet immediately kept her palm on his lips...

"maan" she whispered guiltily...shaking her head, gesturing him not to speak like this again...maan nodded, looking at her palm, which rested on his lips...then moving his gaze, meeting hers...

geet blushed, pulling her hand away...as she could feel his warm lips under her palm...

"kaha thi tum geet" maan finally asked her...not able to bear this mystery any more...

Suddenly geet backed away after hearing this, as the turmoil again took over her senses...she felt guilty for loosing her sanity...as the thoughts played in her mind...what is she doing here with maan, when her family needs her the most...she tried opening her side of the door...crying bitterly...wanting to run away from him...

Maan pulled her harshly, making her collide with his taut chest...geet still wriggled in his arms, trying to get out of his iron grip...

"i need to go...please mujhe jaane do" she whimpered...trying to push him away...but maan made his hold more tighter on her arms, digging his nails in her flesh...

"not befor you tell me whats bothering you" he whispered dangerously gritting his teeth...

"please maan this is not right...please let me go" she cried bitterly, breaking down in his arms...making him feel guilty for his harsh behaviour...he suddenly let go off his hold, looking away from her...surprising her with his move...she looked at his face, which had pain and hurt written over it...

"i am sorry" she whispered...and moved a litle to open the door...

"are you leaving me" his words halted her moment, making her go numb, realizing the depth of his love for her...she shivered with the excruciating pain piercing soul, making him so insecure...she felt guilty with this heart-wrenching helplessness...

Maan felt like his life is slipping away, jaise uski jindagi hi ussase khafa ho gayi ho...his dream to have a happy life ahead with geet, now felt, way beyond his reach...he closed his eyes, not able to bear the burning sensation coursing through his soul...

Suddenly he felt a soft touch on his cheeks...he abruptly opened his eyes, meeting her teary ones...she was there, there for him...cupping his face, assuring him of their unsaid love, wipping every ounce of unsecurities...

Maan just instantly took her in his embrace, holding her tightly in his arms...geet could feel his thudding heartbeats, beating at an abnormal speed...showing the panic he went through...she tried soothing him, by softly caressing him with her soft fingers, just above his bruised heart...

"just tell me once, what is bothering you...i promise mai sab thik kar dunga" he whimpered, crushing her to his body...

with this geet just hugged him closer, crying...

"papaji ko heart attack hua hai...woh hospital mai hai...hum bilkul akele pad gaye the maan...brij veerji bhi yaha nahi hai"

maan just hugged her more tightly, realizing the trauma she went through...

"kal raat hum khana kha rahe the...aur papaji bohat tensed the meri shadi ko lekar...unhone koi ladka dekha hai mere liye"

suddenly geet felt maan lossening his hold around her...knowing he must have felt hurt about this rishta thing...she instantly hugged him tight...

"lekin maine mana kar diya rishte ke liye"...letting him know, she only belonged to him...

"par papaji bohat gussa ho gaye...aur fir chest pain...hum bohat dar gaye the...sirf maa aur mai hi the ghar mai...jaise taise unko hospital le gaye..." she could feel maan's calming heartbeats...

"doctors ne kaha he is out of danger, as it was a mild heart-attack...maa aur mai pura din wahi the...brij veerji bhi canada se wapas aa rahe hai 1-2 din mai..." she snuggled closer, placing her head on his chest...

"mujhe laga yeh sab meri wajah se hua hai...i felt guilty for giving so much pain to my papaji..." maan caressed her hair...soothing her pain...

"par jab papaji ko hosh aaya...toh unhone mujhe iss tarah rota hua dekhake kaha...ki meri koi galati nahi hai...aur woh bilkul gussa nahi hai mujhase..." she pulled her head up saying all this to maan, facing him...

"phir bhi mai janti hu yeh sab mere wajah se hua hai...i have hurted my papaji...hai na maan yeh sab meri wajah se hua hai na" she cried clutching his shirt...

"shhh geet...chup ho jao...please dont blame yourself for all this...its not your fault" he tried claming her...cupping her cheeks, wiping the tears away...

"please dont cry jaan...i am here now...hum papaji ko kuch nahi hone denge" he again hugged her dearly...patting her back...

Geet felt safe and contented in his arms...they stayed like this for a while...not wanting to break this moment of their togetherness...he kept caressing her back, softly hugging her...while geet just kept listening to his rythmic heartbeats, feeling alive under his affectionate touch...

"geet" he called out softly...

"ummm" she only could manage to say this much...

"kal mai bhi aaunga papaji ko dekhane" he said possessively, not wanting to hear her refusal...

"ummm" she smiled lovingly...

"kal saath chalenge...i will come early to pick you up"

"ummm" she was having this beautiful feeling developing in her, to hold him like this for rest of her life...she was feeling fragile with his gentle hold...loving every bit of there new found togetherness...

Maan too didnt let her go, even to catch a comfortable breath...he just kept her in his arms, letting her know where she belonged...

There blissfull moment got disturb with dadi's call...he unwillingly pulled out from the hug, when geet nudged him to take the call...she blushed looking away, seeing his cute pouting face...then eyed him to take the call, not able to hold back her laughter, watching him cribbing making faces...

"hello dadi"

"maan aap kaha ho...itni der ho gayi" dadi was concerned...

"ji woh mai traffic mai fas gaya hu" he lied, winking at geet...to which she blushed...

"maan raat ke 12 baje kaunsa traffic hota hai" dadi got suspicious now...

"woh dadi...woh...sach mai traffic hai..." he fumbled maintaning his lie, and geet started laughing holding her mouth...

"maan hume kuch nahi sunana...bas ghar aayiye...hum wait kar rahe hai" she said sternly...

"ok dadi" he said meekly...then pouted looking at geet laughing crazily...

"bohat hasi aa rahi hai" he said pulling her closer, faking anger...

"i am sorry" geet said slowly holding her ears, feeling guilty to hurt him...

"mai majak kar raha tha" he again winked at her, as now geet made a big pouting face...

"now stop your antics and go home...kal mai aaunga lene" he said looking at her lovingly...

"ummm...i will wait" she smiled, as both of them got out of the car...walking in the rain, moving towards her house...as soon as they reached her main door, maan backed away a litle...creating gap between them...

"wont you come in" geet said opening her main door...

"no" was his cut reply...he knew she was alone at home, and he didnt felt right to stay with her, even for few minutes...it was not like he didnt trusted himself or her...but he could not risk her dignity, as they where at her place...

Geet understood his turmoil...and smiled soflty, feeling his concern...how on earth someone could be so selfless...she stood there admiring him...when heard his cut reply...

"go inside and close the door...mai kal jaldi aaunga" he was blank devoid of any emotion on his face...

"good night" she said waiting for him to leave...

maan moved back...watching her close the door...then again called her hurriedly..."geet...will you be ok...should i stay back...i will be in car"

"nahi maan...i will be ok...please you go home" she came out, standing close to him...

"ok...but call me, if you need anything" he cupped her face...

"umm i will" she smiled..."ab jao...warna dadi gussa ho jayengi"

"umm ja raha hu" he moved back towards his car, looking at her all the while...then entered his car...eyeing her to close the door...

"umm kar rahi hu" she pouted looking at his anger...

"abhi i said" he shouted...making her jump in fear...she closed the door, leaning her forehead on it...smiling, blushing for the moments they shared...she heard his car screeching away...then went to her room and thumped herself on bed...blushing at her luck to have him just for her...
