he sighed...closing his eyes...as the images of that painfull past came flashing...
"why my heart felt, she was geet, but my mind denied...denied her presence"
"ohh god...i cant bear this confusion"
"kyu mera dil nahi maan raha... ki woh meri geet nahi hai"
"uski aankhe bilkul geet ki tarah hai...then thinking...pr woh yaha kaise ho sakti hai'
he sat up pulling his knees closer ..."i need to find out if she is my geet"...then determinantly stood up...
"agar woh sach mai geet hui toh...i wont let her go this time"
finally he smiled with this itsy bitsy hope of her to be his geet...went to his room and slept peacefully after a long time...
It was morning and geet woke up rubbing her eyes...images of maan flashed infront of her...she looked down getting sad...finally thought this is her destiny and she have to accept it, no matter what...she have to move on...then looked at the time...ohh it was half past 7...she hastily got out of the bed...had a quick shower...got ready in the green salwar suit...and went down...papaji and rano where waiting for her at breakfast table...she sat down wishing them good morning...she clumsily ate her breakfast...
"puttar dheere kha" rano spoke caressing her back...
"nahi maa, bohat late ho gaya hai" and she hurriedly got up to leave...
"geet mujhe bohat jaruri baat karni hai tujhase sham ko" mohinder spoke...and geet got the clue...she sadly nodded her head and moved out...some how she managed to catch her regular bus and reached KC on time...
Here at khurana mansion...maan came down the stairs after completing his tai-chi session and then taking a quick shower...he joined ranbir, dadi and dev for breakfast...he was in his casuals...he sat besides ranbir...and greeted them good morning...he kissed dadi's cheeks and she ruffled his hair lovingly...
"had a sound sleep????" ranbir asked sipping his juice...
"yes dad after a long time...he took a pause...i missed being here dad" maan smiled genuinely...
"maan so what have you planned after this" dev asked...
"bhai i want to join you guys as soon as possible" maan looked desperate...
"but son if you want, take a break as you just finished your studies" ranbir said...
"ha maan thoda time hamare saath bhi bitayiye" dadi tried to convince him...
"nahi dadi i want to start my career first...aur mai toh ab yahi hu aapke pas"
"ok maan...so when you want to start" ranbir asked...
"dad today itself" he looked determined...
ranbir noded and dev smiled proudly seeing his litle bro grown up...
After the breakfast ranbir told maan to join them in office as he and dev are already late for an important meeting...maan ran upstairs to his room to get ready...after fishing his wardrobe he finally managed to pick an suitable office attire for him...but after wearing it, he felt uncomfortable...he looked at himself in mirror in that armani coat...tried to figure out whats missing...then sat down on his bed...cupping his face...
That is how dadi saw him...she smiled and carressed his head...
"kya soch rahe ho maan"
"dadi this is not looking nice...i mean uncomfortable hai" he pouted complaining...
"hmm show me"
and maan stood up...dadi after thinking for some time...asked him to remove his coat...still his full sleev shirt was looking odd...then something striked her and she told maan to wait and hurriedly left away...
maan kept looking at himself in the mirror...
Here in KC geet entered her cabin hurriedly...finally sighed in relief seating on her chair...then started working on her new assigned project...it was a big water dam construction project in the outskirts of delhi...and she was preparing the intial power point presentation, to be presented the next day infront of board of directors...
Dev entered her cabin finding her deeply involved working on something...he smiled seeing her so engrossed, then his mind went to yesterdays events...
he sensed there was something terribly wrong with her...in this last two years, he saw her smiling wholeheartedly, her chirpiness, her angry self, her pouting, her caring, her cribbing...but this was some thing different...his trance was broken when his phone rang and geet too looked at him surprised...she stood up greeting him...
dev smiled and gestured her to seat...he answered the phone and then left from their...
Here at khurana mansion, maan was pacing restlessly in his room...it was half and hour and still dadi was not back...he removed his tie getting irritated...
"first day of office aur itna late" he cribbed...
his dad called him...he picked the phone making weird faces...now what to answer him...
"hello dad"
"maan where have you reached" ranbir inquired...
"ummm...woh dad...just 15 mins more and i will be there in office"
"ok...we all are waiting...make it quick"
"yes dad" he disconnected the call and smacked his head..."ahhhaaa" he screamed then rubbed his forehead...
That is when dadi came back with many shopping bags in her hand...
"yeh kya hai dadi" maan asked getting impatient...
dadi smiled and opened it...it had many office wear cloths...maan smiled going through each of them...
"dadi yeh sab mere liye" he was excited...
dadi nodded and finally picked a white half sleev shirt with black pants, a black vest coat, and a black tie...she gestured maan to try it...maan smiled and went inside the washroom...came back wearing it...dadi moved forward, adjusting his tie...and then helped him to wear his vest coat...finally he was all done...and turned him to look at the mirror...
"wow dadi this looks amazing" he was amazed...
"i hope aaj KC mai ladkiya faint na ho jaye" she said teasingly...
"woh kyu dadi" he asked getting confused...
"any girl would faint looking at her new hot boss" she winked saying this...
"ohhh dadi, kya aap bhi" he shied...
dadi ruffled his hair..."best of luck maan...for your new begning"
maan hugged her tight..."i missed you so much dadi"
dadi got emotional...remembering under what circumstances he was sent away...
maan wiped her tears away...
"but i am here now"...he tired consolling...then again hugged her...
"i know you are missing your mom" she patted his back...
"woh dadi...woh mujhe late ho raha hai...dad ka bhi phone aaya tha...they all are waiting for me" he tried changing topic...
Dadi gave him a knowing look...she knew he wont express his inner turmoil to anyone...how much her heart peicered looking at him struggling to get ready all alone...if ananya(maan's mom) would have been here, she would have looked after his every needs...
Her trance was broken when maan spoke again...
"dadi i think i will move on now...its getting late"
he took her blessing and left from there taking his laptop bag...he drived himself to KC...entered through main gates...till now everybody knew there new boss is arriving...he parked his car and got out...entering the main building...guards moved to his sides...accompanying him...he walked with poise and elegence...everybody greeted him on his way...he entered lift as the receptionist told him, ranbir was waiting for him on 14th floor...
he entered the lift with guards around...thats when a skin shot dress girl entered his lift hurriedly...she pressed her dress to her body giving a big smile to him...
"hello MK, i am sasha...working here as chief archietect" and she forwarded her hand for an handshake trying to impress...
maan looked other way and moved out from the lift leaving her shocked with his rudeness...
He walked out of the lift, as the guards moved away...entering 14th floor...he removed his sun glasses...walked with style accepting everyones greetings...looked around eagerly, finding her traces...then getting disappointed, he entered ranbir's cabin...he was walking in his trance when suddenly collided with someone...
with quick reflexes he grabbed the person falling, loosing his balance with the impact of their collision...he balanced himself, pulling her upto his body...holding her in his arms...he was mesmerized looking at the object of his interest right in his arms...
Geet was working from ranbir cabin to collect some reports...and after collecting required document she started moving out looking into the papers...when something hard colided with her making her loose her balance...she closed her eyes...expecting to get hurt badly...when some thing pulled her up...and with the feel of it she knew it was maan...scared she clutched his arms more tightly...not wanting to face him...
Maan got intoxicated holding her so close...her fresh scent was driving him crazy...he kept looking at her face...comparing it with his geet...in his trance he moved his hand upto her face still holding her in his arms...not wanting to let go this moment...he caressed her face slowly...tracing every nook and corner...his fingers worked wonders for her...she started breathing heavily...unknown of this new feelings...shutting her eyes tight, biting her lips...
he moved his fingers from her forehead to her closed eyelids...then moved on her cheeks...which turned into deep shade of red...then her chin and finally moved up her lips...
geet shivered with this new found sensation running down her body...she opened her eyes abruptly feeling his fingers touching her lips...bringing maan out of his trance...he looked deep into her hazel eyes...only finding his reflection...she looked at him with mixed emotions...maan kept judging her expressions...not knowing what else to do...
They where leaning on eachother...holding there balance, standing in a pool of documents which scattered from the impact of their collision from geet's hand, spreading all over the room...
geet's loose strand of curls kept disturbing his view...he moved his hand upto her face again...caressing removing those curls away...geet blinked her eyes...jerking to stand up...getting uncomfortable with all this...maan made her stand, looking away...but this time he didnt felt guilty for touching her...like he somewhere knew she was his geet...geet kept standing looking down, clutching her duppatta...fidgeting with it in her nervousness...
maan bend down picking the documents she was carrying...arranging them in his hands...then stood up, giving it to her...she reluctantly took it from his hand and hurried to move out...maan kept looking at her retreating figure...then sighing he sat on the couch...
He was in his deep thinking when ranbir entered his office...
"ohh you are here" he hugged maan...and sat on his chair...called dev in his cabin...maan moved and sat on the opposite chair...soon dev joined them...he tapped maan's shoulder greeting him and then sat on the adjeacent chair...
ranbir told them on the project they will be working after this...and about the small meeting he has arranged just after few hours, for assigning maan with his new team...
Finally they all were seating in the conference hall...with few of their senior employees...geet came in, feeling nervous, sensing maan's gaze on her...she sat beside dev...looking into the file...maan kept gazing her moves...till ranbir broke their trance...
"hello everybody...i have kept this meeting just to inform you all that from now on our new dam construction project will be handled by maan...he will be leading it...with aditya and geet assisting him"
everybody started clapping even dev, as earlier the project belong to him...but still he was happy with maan getting it...
Geet looked at ranbir getting shocked...then looked at maan who was smiling excepting everyones wishes...dev and ranbir hugged him...wishing him success...and maan just kept stealing glances of geet who kept standing alone in a corner...finally ranbir called him to them...and she reluctantly moved closer towards him...
"geet i am so happy you will be working with maan...i know you would be a great support for him handling this project...and i wish you both immense success together" ranbir unknowingly wished them success together...to which maan smiled...while geet nodded nervously looking here and there...

i big wala sorry for delaying this update...i hope i am doing well with this story...now maan is realising bit by bit that she is his geet...and from here they will fall all over again for eachother...just keep ur patiences...kyuki yeh love story toh abhi shuru hui hai...its a new flavour of love for them...so let them cherish it throughly...
