Its lucidrous to continue having the ranking system...if you do want to have the system, then kindly do away with the buzz points altogether as IF uses the same to influence the rankings.

Case in point, Drashti is the actor , articles on whom in IF attract the max comments. To ensure Barun moves up the ranking, you ensure during a week that no article on drashti is published or that she gets tagged in any article else, obviously she will continue to be at No1. why create so much drama and have fans fight amoungst themselves? just do away with ranking or if not that, then Buzz points as that is completely in your hands to manipulate by publishing articles and tagging actors...let the popularity of an actor be decided on continued support by their fans...make it more objective and thus less prone to manupilations...yours or the fans-both. it would be best if you scrap this ranking altogether...who really cares? the most succesful TV stars neednt be the most popular and vice versa. But if you do want to continue with it, pls have a system where IF has no role to play in deciding popularity.
