Episode 115 and 116:
Words always fail to describe the pee loon sequence😍😍😍 though Pennu has done a great job I must say👏. Seriously many songs take a complete different meaning, a much deeper one at that, when picturised on Maneet.😳 Filmi songs mattered to me when Maneet were around.😳😳 Songs unheard of became my favourite😳. Popular ones took a different perspective bcos they got related to Maneet.😳😳 I had a long wishlist that, though the show makers did not fulfill, the VM makers did and so I could still see Maneet in them rather than the hero heroine😳😳. And believe it or not I don't enjoy any of the new songs anymore since my Maneet are not around for me to at least dream about.
What a couple.😍😍 GC and DD continue to be the amazing actors they are and are also doing a very good job in their new roles but what they did as Maan and Geet remain unparalleled even by themselves yet.😳😳 The future is yet to be seen but right now I can safely say I am yet to see a couple who can set fire to a scene like our Maneet.😍😍 When that passion waned post marriage and then the Amritsar circus joined in I think even the actors stopped identifying themselves to the Maan and Geet that they used to be and so boredom set in even with them as much as with the viewers and the passionate couple did meet their eventual end. It's a loss I still mourn.😭😭
As far as the scene goes Geet in that saree looked ethereal 😍😍and no wonder Maan was ready to give Geet a pappi when the priest was actually talking to the bride and groom😉. And of course the ring did remind her about how invested they both were in the relationship and so how important it was to reveal the truth. Poor Geet could not even enjoy Maan's overtures bcos of the heavy weight on her heart. Maan with his teeth out when laughing is sooo different to the Maan we know and I don't think he ever laughed that freely ever. Like Pennu said we did get a glimpse of GC more than Maan there.😊
He of course loves Geet's hair😉 and the first and last time we see our Maan kissing anywhere other than the forehead and Geet's hands😍😍☺️. And the flower.😍😍 If I were a romantic novelist I would be writing " And the flower touched every part his lips wanted to be."☺️
The only eyesore in all this was Dev of course😡😡. Was it the actor's photoshoot or something?😕 Why was he walking around shirtless and then like a hero on a bike and all when he should have been really suffering bcos of his guilt.😕😡 It was almost like he was auditioning for some role or something. 😒I guess that's the reason I just could not stomach this transformation. One day he is a cheating swine and within a week he turns into a sadhu with the only suffering that I can see is losing his wife- just not done for me.😡😒
Then of course was the tragedy part. Poor Maan egging Geet to say whats in her heart. Not in his dreams would he have imagined that the "3 words" that would come out of her mouth would be "I am pregnant". Poor guy did get the shock of his life.😲 But then the shock does bring out that old Maan in him. To give his brain the credit even in his anger he is able to see the past in a different light. I think his disappointment was two fold - that Geet let it go this far without revealing such an important truth about her and the fact he says later - that she is not just "his".
And I was really proud of Geet then. Though it would have broken her heart to have Maan leave like that she realized how much he meant to her and she was ready to fight tooth and nail for him.👏 Now this is the Geet I can relate to, not the one who during the holi fiasco was ready to leave the love of her life just bcos he said something hurting when he was in temper.😡😒
And I can't think of any other way Maan would have spent that frustration than shouting like that.😳 Whoever thought of that scene just knows Maan so well.👍🏼 And all the time that camera was going around I was like "What a perfectly beautiful male specimen!!!!"😍😍☺️
And of course his hurting himself not with his normal tai chi but with a punishing routine and then the way he broke the wood.😲 Geet is brave to still follow and try to talk to him.
I was happy to see both of them again wearing the matching colours.😳😳 The blue looked really good on Geet. 😳And our "Saddoo of the year" is back.😒 Poor Aadi was literally chewed alive.
I think the scene were Geet falls and catches hold of Maan was her way of reminding him of his promise to be there for her whenever she was in need of help and now she needed his help.😳😳 Though the running scene of tomorrow is sad, the ones that follow are great and am looking forward to them.😃
