Part 11:
Maan was furious as he entered Khurana mansion. He had given strict orders to Daadimaa's caretakers against encouraging her to come to his office, but despite all his orders she still managed to come to his office. It was getting on his nerves. The old lady was interfering a tad too much in his life. He had to sort out things with her before he lost his temper.
As he reached the hall, he found Daadimaa busy in conversation with someone on the phone. As soon as she saw him coming towards her, she hurriedly disconnected the call. If he found her actions suspicious, he refused to comment on it. Instead they just exchanged pleasantries.
"Daadima, you came to Khurana corporations inspite of me telling you that i would be busy. Was there something important to discuss that could not be done after i got here?" Maan asked, his voice edged with sarcasm.
Saavitri devi ignored the familiar pain which coursed through her when her grandson spoke to her in this manner. Instead she spoke lovingly to him.
"I came to see how my Grandson has settled in his office. Afterall it has been ages since you have come to India. I just wanted to know how things are progressing with you here. You rarely come home so my love for you forced me to come to meet you in your office."
"Daadimaa, you don't need to come to my office. I have a busy schedule but still i make time to come and see you. Take care of your health, the next time you need to see me, i will come to you. Anyways, i've got to go now. Some work has cropped up. I wont be returning tonight, so see you." Maan turned to go but was stopped in his tracks by Daadima's next question.
"I met Geet Handa today." Daadimaa told him directly and carefully observed his body language.
Maan stiffened at that sentence. Dammit! Why was his grandmother so nosy. He composed himself and turned around. "Who, Geet Handa?"
Daadimaa was surprised by Maan's reaction. "An employee in your office. Dont you know about her. SHe seemed to be a nice girl."
"Oh yes! Geet Handa. I have thousands of employees working for me. You cant expect me to remember everybody's names. But why the sudden mention of her name? You didnt mention any of my employees before today." Maan questioned her casually.
Daadimaa decided to approach him directly. "Maan, answer me truthfully. You really dont know who Geet Handa is? "
"All i know is that she must have been selected to work for my company based on her capabilities. If you are done with your investigations, then i prefer to get some sleep. I'm pretty tired today so i think i'll cancel my meeting and solve your complaints about me by staying here tonight. "
Daadimaa watched him go upstairs but she wasnt satisfied with his answer. Maan was not somebody who forgot his employees names. He knew the biodata of each and every person working for him. So how come he asked her who was Geet Handa? That itself was a dead giveaway. Daadimaa had made some phone calls and found out that Geet was indeed the grand daughter of Lala Amarnath Handa. She had a feeling that Maan knew all about this and he was somehow involved in her role of working in his office.
She was in a fix. If she spoke to Maan, he would pay no heed to her. She had learned long back that he believed only what he wanted to believe. In this case, there was another option, she had to contact Geet Handa and somehow convince her to go away before her grandson could destroy her family and her.

Maan punched the wall in frustration. When he had just achieved a little success, there would come a new hindrance. Great! Now Daadimaa had come to know about Geet. She was his grandmother and as far as he knew her, she must have already begun her investigations on Geet Handa. She might have forgotten that her son was murdered and her family was destroyed, but not he. He had lived for this moment and he would allow no one not even Daadima to talk him out of this. She might forgive her son's murderers but he would never forgive his father's and indirectly mother's murderers.
He had to find out what Daadimaa was upto. He was sure she would try to contact Geet, so he had to make all arrangements against them ever seeing each other again. Convincing Geet was a piece of cake, he smirked : after all she loved him to bits. But his witty grandmother was a problem. He would have to stay in Khurana mansion for a while and find out what she was upto so that he could cut off her plans from the roots.

Geet was worried sick about Maan. He had not come home that night. After several attempts she atlast got him on the phone but he curtly informed her that he would be busy for the next few days and would be unable to come home due to prior commitments before the line went dead. It had been 3 days since, and there was no news from him.
She came home from work with a sad face. She missed him terribly. She knew that he could never be away from her unless it was extremely important but never the less she missed him.
She had a shower and went to the kitchen to prepare dinner. She had a feeling that Maan would come home tonight. Keeping that in mind, she prepared some Alu ke parote and butter chicken. Just then the doorbell rang and Geet left evrything and ran to the door.
She opened the door and her wait had come to an end. She flung herself into his arms and hugged him tightly.
Maan felt a wierd sensation within him, but he ignored it and wrapped his arms around her. God! she smelt so good. After what seemed like ages, Geet came out of the hug feeling all shy. She nervously told him to go and change while she set the table for dinner.
Maan changed and came to sit at the sinner table. Geet served him food and sat to watch him eat. She banged her hand to her head as she saw him try to eat parotaa with a fork and knife. She gently took it from his hands, tore the parotaa in her hands, dipped it in the gravy and held it to his mouth.
Maan could not remember anybody feeding him with so much love in thier eyes since his mother. He slowly took the food into his mouth, all the while looking at her love filled eyes. He closed his eyes. He pitied the girl who was so hopelessly in love with him. Pity that she had to suffer for her family's sins.
Once they finished dinner, Geet cleaned up the plates while Maan went to his room to get information about what his grandmother was upto.
soon after Geet entered the room and chatted non stop about how she had spent the 3 days. How could somebody talk so much, Maan thought as he listened to her non stop chatter. Slowly her one sided onversation shifted towards her childhood and Maan's blood was boiling thinking about how happy her childhood was, while he was facing the worst.
Without warning he picked her up from the couch and deposited her on the bed. He smooched her hard while his hands quickly undressed her. He made such vigorous love to her all night, that tears could not stop flowing from her eyes.
