Pinky said many more things, Adi knew there was no stopping so he pulled Pinky to the guest room; when they left Maan went numb, he was confused, her words replayed in his mind, he was not able to understand what to do now;

Pari and NT were getting things a little clear, NT said, 'Pari Pinky bhabhi is right, it should have been Geetji's decision', Pari agreed, 'yes, if she had known many confusions would have been sorted out', NT nodded, 'yes, look she would have done only two things, said yes or no, but in anyway it would not have ruined her life' Pari added thoughfully, 'if she would have said yes then veer ji and she would have been happily married and till now they also would have 2-3 kids' NT nodded, 'and if she would have said no, then atleast she would have married someone, and had a happy married life'.

Both women were engrossed in their discussion oblivious to the fact that others were listening, they were discussing Maaneet lovestory as they discuss the episodes of any serial, Dev and Vicky wanted to pull their hair but Mandavi stopped them as she knew her innocent daughter-in-laws were doing a good job, they were giving an insight to Maan about his wrong step.

The two continued, 'atleast it would have resulted in one happy family', said NT, Pari nodded, 'yes, in both the cases atleast she would have been the one happy', NT shrugged, 'but in first case if she said yes, it would have led to some issues', Pari said, 'as veerji was being stupidily stubborn, there would have been some issues', as Pari said Vicky almost choked, he looked at his veerji, but sighed on seeing him listening intently to his stupid sister-in-laws.

While NT said,'he would initially have opposed her decision but in the she would have ended as our jethani' Pari giggled,'and we too would have witnessed our jethji's softer side' both of them giggled.

They have moved from living room to dining room to kitchen, and their analysis went on and on, Dev and Vicky smiled that this post analysis of serials has for the first time being helpful, these women have unknowingly done what noone dared to do, that is to put in some sense in their stubborn veerji. Oops what did they just said stubborn that too Maan, hopefully the eldest was busy listening to their wives post analysis.

Mandavi was more then happy when she saw Maan following the duo to hear what they were talking, Pari was saying, 'now that veerji knows that she has not married what will he do' NT gave her a surprised look, 'who said she is not married?' Pari raised her eyebrows cutely, 'What is this you just agreed that she would have been married I thought when Pinkyji said that she will die a spinister,you understood that she has not married' NT asked again, 'what does this s word mean' Pari said, 'it means a woman who is not married' NT said, 'I thought so, but I thought it is better if I clear the doubt first'.

Till now it did not strike Maan so boldly about her status, but as the s word hammered again and again in his mind as these women said it he started feeling guilty; he was brought out of the thoughts with Pari voice,'but now tell me what will he do, option 1 search for her and propose her option 2 let the things move as they are and wait for Pinkyji to tell her the truth' NT siad, 'if he is brave enough he will goto her, else she definately will come' Pari asked, 'how can you be so sure?' NT smiled, 'so far as I heard about her today she sure loves veerji more then he loves her' Pari asked, 'how can you say this, veerji sacrificed to see that she is happy' NT nodded, 'you are right, but she did not marry inspite of assuming that he is married' Pari exclaimed, 'yes, she lived her life like Meera worshiping him like her God'

Maan was not able to hear more, he was by now buried in guilt. He left for his room, as he left Mandavi came in the kitchen and pretending to have just come she said, 'what serial are you to discussing?' the duo became concious, how can they tell their MIL that they were discussing his elder son, so they just made baby faces and pretended to be busy in lunch preperations. Mandavi blessed them and kissed their foreheads, both were startled but decided to be quite.

Meanwhile at KC, Geet came in at sharp 10 am and Sasha who was waiting for her arrival welcomed her, she was told yesterday that a 27 year old woman will come and after casual introductions has to be given the job as her assisstant. Sasha instantly liked Geet, to see what type of job she can do the senior lady went through her CV, and was amazed to see what she saw, 'you are very experienced, I think you should assist sir in his latest research, he had been looking for someone who can assist him' Geet was happy and nodded to the sweet lady in front of her.

Adi and Pinky left that night and Geet was given accomodation at the staff guest house.

A week passed without Maan coming to the lab, he kept in touch to the day to day working via phone and mail, he was quite happy that the new assistant was doing good and he mailed her that he will be there in a week and meanwhile she has to make the solutions ready.

Maan had been quite disturbed and he was not in any position to work or do any experiment properly so he left things for Sasha and his new assistant to handle.

When Geet asked why was the boss not coming, Sasha smiled sadly and said, 'now that you are working here there is no harm in telling you, actually sir loves a girl, and her birthday falls this week, so he gets sad and he hardly works when he is down' Geet asked, 'did he tell you?' she nodded, 'no, I accidently came to know it when he had returned after leaving his job at NIT-B'

Myra was also there she said, 'hey Geet ji you must have known sir, you also are a NIT-B pass-out' Yash added, 'and from your CV I see that your birthday also is tommorrow' Sasha turned to look at Geet, 'you are the girl sir left behind' Geet was not able to understand what say, Myra jumped, 'oh how romantic, you left your job and came all the way to win back your love' Yash smiled, 'welcome back old MK'.

Geet was amazed at how much his employees loved him, as she had learnt from them he sounded to be rude and many times idiotic, she could not help but ask, 'you all look concerned about him, but as you said earlier he seemed to be a rude and arrogant and angry man, but here what I hear seems to be a different story' Yash said, 'I have never known sir personaly but in college he was my role model, I adored his ways and wished to be like him one day, the man I found here was someone else but then I somewhat understood, that accident did not affect him so much physically as much it left a mental dent on him' Sasha agreed, 'yes, I have been working here for a long time, he was always of revolting nature doing always things against his father's wishes, he was fun loving and intelligent, he always teased me for being a lady chemist, he has always been with me as a little bro' Geet was amazed, that not only in the lives of his students he had touched every passing by person, leaving his mesemerizing smile as their only memory.

She decided to give him as well as herself a birth day gift on her birthday that was on 14th Oct.
