Silence…. Words were not needed to express what they felt at that time. Geet remembered that daadima must have been waiting for them at KM. She half-heartedly broke the hug; she got up and said without looking into his eyes.

"humein ab chalna chaiyeh, Dadima hamara intezaar kar rahi hongi."

"Par Geet, main….."

"Main jaanti hoon ki aapki baat abhi khatam nahi hui hai par abhi hamara wahan jaana zarrori hai."

Maan nodded understandingly. He knew his Geet must be upset with him, as he didn't recognize her. He badly wanted to know what she was thinking but she didn't look up. She was avoiding looking at him and he didn't want to press on further though he felt heavy at heart.

Geet could see the multitude of emotions on his face from the corner of her eyes and she knew what he was thinking when she saw him sigh in resignation. She went up to him and lovingly pecked his right cheek.

"Main aapse naaraz nahi hu."

He looked up shocked, how did she always know what was troubling him? He was happy beyond limits.

She gently glided her right hand in his left hand and they left together for KM.

Khurana Mansion

Dadima and Rano ma were waiting for Maan, Geet and Rimi. They didn't know what would happen today. Rano had avoided any type of confrontation with her daughter by deliberately staying out for long hours. As a mother she couldn't see her daughter hurt.

They both stood up when they saw Maan and Geet coming together. Maaneet bent forward to touch their feet and take their blessings. At the same time Rimi made an entry.

Rimi came forward and hugged Rano and started crying, showing her fake crocodile tears.

Maan's hand formed a fist when he saw her drama. Geet soothed his back to calm him down. He relaxed when he looked at the confidence in her eyes, but he was a little confused as he saw mischievousness along with it. He got speechless when she winked at him.

"Maan bete….Aap humse kuchh baat karna chahte the?"

But Maan was still in his la-la land. He came out of it when Geet pinched him.

"Owww…."

"Kya hua Maan bte aap thik to hai?"

Dadima wondered why was he behaving so strangely while Maan gave Geet an angry glare. But his face got immediately softened when she made a cute baby face.

She then diverted her attention and looked at Rimi, giving her a stern smile.

Rimi took the cue immediately. She gulped and started her charade, unknown of the consequences that lay ahead for her.

"Wo Ma, Maan kuchh kahein, us se pehle main aap sab se kuchh kehna chahti hoon..."

Everyone's attention was diverted towards her. Though they all wanted to know what she had to say, their thoughts behind it were different, dadima and Rano felt a little scared about her reaction, Maan rolled his eyes thinking it to be her drama while Geet was doing a mental bhangra in her head!!!

"….. darasal Maan ne job hi kiya, main unhe us ke liye blame nahi karti, mujhe unki shaadi se koi problem nahi hai….."

Now three people looked at her shocked while the one who knew what was about to come, was barely controlling her laughter.

"….. In picchle kuchh dinon me main ne realize kiya ki main ab Maan se pyaar nahi karti. In fact main kise aur ko pasand karti hoon aur yeh rishta mere liye ek bhoj ban chukka tha. Agar Maan aisa nahi karte, to main waise bhi yeh sagai tod deti"

Maan was extremely confused with the proceedings but when he looked at Geet and saw her face, he understood, he thought

"Daal mein zarror kuchh kala hai….."

Though dadima was shocked with this revealation but she was somewhat relieved as it reduced her guilt and moreover she couldn't really stand this new Geet. Rano ma stood speechless for some seconds and then

SLAP

Everyone was stunned even Geet didn't expect such a strong reaction from her sweet mom, Rano was shaking in anger finally she asked.

"Kabse???"

Now this was the question, which Rimi was dreading to answer. she knew her fate was sealed after she told them it was before the engagement. But what could she do? If she said it, she will face MSK's wrath or else Geet MSK's wrath!!!

"….. wo maa…."

Before she could answer, a handsome man of around 27-28 years entered KM. He took everyone by surprise as he crushed Geet in a bone crushing hug and twirled her around. Everyone was confused, while Maan was seething in anger and moved forward to punch the living daylight out of this man who had the audacity to hug his Geet in front of him. But he stooped in his tracks when he heard Geet squeal in delight.

"Superman…... tum aa gaye…."

"Yup doll….. and god I missed you so much…."

When they finally broke their hug, they saw everyone staring at them as if they were aliens. While Rimi was busy drooling over this new guy who seemed filthy rich. She was already formulating plans in her mind to phansofy him if she got kicked out of this KM.

"Maan ye hai….."

"Nahi doll, main apna intro khud dunaga…."

She nodded, and looked at Dadima apprehensively as she feared her reaction the most. After all she was the only one who knew about this till now.

"Guys, chill, I am family, I am Vicky, as in Vickrant Raj Singh Khurana…."

Maan, Rano and Rimi were confused with the way he introduced himself while Dadima stood stunned, shocked, horrified….
