Maan waited for Geet before the college.
Annie came out.
A:Bhai..Geet is on leave for one month.
Maan's face became dull.
Maan was walking alone on the road.
A dog ran behind him barking.He got scared and he ran fast.He reached an unknown area.He turned back.He did'nt see any dog.He was relieved.He was panting.He sat under the banyan tree.Geet who was draped in a white saree was standing behind the tree.She was shining in darkness.She looked at Maan with her glittering eyes.
Geet's saree got changed into salwar kameez.She sat near Maan.Maan could not believe his eyes.
M:Geet!
G:How come you are here?
M:A dog chased me.I ran fast to escape from the dog and i reached here.You?
G:Simple.In the evening i come and sit under the banyan tree.I feel nice when i sit here after sunset.
M:I had gone to the college to meet you?
G:College?
M:Yes.Annie had told me that you study in her college.You are on long leave.Right?
Geet did not know what to say.Slowly she said:I stopped going to college.
M:Is it to avoid me?
G:No.Simply.
M:I went to your college to meet you to make you understand how serious i am.Geet...only you are my Radha.I can never forget you even if you can forget me easily.
Geet's eyes became wet.
Maan talked to Annie.
M:I told Geet how serious i am about her.But i feel still she is trying to move away from me.
A:Bhai...i think Geet belongs to a poor family.Seeing her house that's what i feel.She may be scared whether after knowing her family back ground you will hate her.
M:You have seen her house?But that day you said you don't know where her house is.
Annie's face became dull.
M:Are you hiding anything from me?
Annie could not hide anything from Maan anymore.
A:Bhai...after the excursion i came back late.Right?That was not because the bus was late.
M:Then?
A:I got down at another bus stand to roam around.After that i waited for a bus.
Flashback...
A barking dog chased her.Annie got scared and ran fast.She reached a place.She opened a gate and got inside.There was a banyan tree there.Cool wind was blowing heavily.
She pressed the calling bell.Geet opened the door.
G:Who are you?
A:A dog is chasing me.Can i come inside?If i stand outside it will catch me.
G:Come inside.
Annie got inside.
She saw an old man sitting on the chair.
G:This is my father.Papa...she came here to escape from a dog.She is really scared.
He:There are dangerous dogs here.It's dangerous to travel alone at night.So let this girl stay here tonight.Tomorrow morning she can go back home.
A:Thank you so much.By the way my name is Anvesha.Everybody calls me Annie.
G:I am Geet.
A:There is a banyan tree here.Very strange.
G:It is there even before we started staying here.We did'nt destroy it.
Annie observed the house.
Geet's dad:We have to leave this house soon.We don't want to leave this house.But what to do?There is no other option.
The next morning...
Annie:Let me take your photos.
Geet and her father were nervous.
A:Why are you both scared?
G:Actually we are not used to posing for photos.
A:Only that much?Don't get worried.It's silly.
Geet's dad:No please.I am not interested.
A:Ok.But i will take Geet's photographs.You are definetly a photogenic.
G:But Annie..
A:No excuse.
Annie took Geet's photographs.
Before going Annie observed the banyan tree again.
Geet asked seriously:Why are you staring at the banyan tree like this?
A:I am seeing it directly for the first time.That's why.
Geet smiled.
A:Ok bye.
G:Bye.
Present...
Annie:This is how i met Geet.She will lose her house soon.She may be thinking that our family reputation will be harmed if you marry a shelterless girl like her.
M:Whatever it is i want Geet.
