Thunder crackled throughout the darkened skies. From a distance, the woeful howling of a coyote shattered the atmosphere. Through the harsh downpour, the constant rumble was heard on and off. Suddenly, a large bolt of lightning quivered the earth. Its flash of light revealed a large sinister-looking mansion. An owl flinched from its branch as it heard human voices erupting through an open window:
"Take it away from me NOW! How dare you bring these filthy clothes to me, thinking I would ever wear this rubbish?! Can't you use your demented excuse of a brain to realize that I only require clothes of the most exquisite and rare! Get out you fool before I do something you will regret!!" came the sound of a very angry young man.
"B-but Sire, if you pleas-"
"Guards! Throw this idiot in the prison cell immediately!" yelled Maan Singh Khurana. He was the tyrant king of his reign. All feared him; his subjects, his tutors, caretakers: EVERYONE. He watched emotionless-ly as two guards came and dragged the poor tailor away.
"I want no disturbances, I am retiring to my chamber, is that understood?" Maan glared menacingly at the remaining frightened guards.
"Y-ye-yes S-sire," they warbled before hastily retreating to the exit.
"Pathetic mansion, pathetic people. A person of my stature needs better than this load of garbage." Maan muttered angrily whilst tossing aside a rare glass chess piece that shattered upon contact to the ground.
"I shouldn't waste my sleep on stupid matters like them. I know, tomorrow I will put them all in prison for wasting my valuable time'hmm yes. I might just do that. I will feel so much better," he added sleepily before his head hit the pillow.

~CHARACTER SKETCH~
Maan Singh Khurana: 22 years old. He rules over the Kingdom. According to him, everything must be perfect. Very temperamental. His top priority is his self-satisfaction.
Geet Handa: 19 years old, lives life to the fullest. Optimistic, bold, and adventurous. She wants to find her true purpose in life. Loves her father to bits and pieces. She is his "Papa ki Pari."
Mohinder Handa: Middle aged, Geet's father as well as close friend. He bakes breads and sweetmeats in town. He wants Geet to find the happiness she deserves and will gladly support any decision she makes.
Rano Handa: Deceased. Mohinder's wife and Geet's mother. She was a sweet, caring mother and a strong-minded, loving wife. Mohinder often see's glimpses of Rano's lively fighting spirit embedded in Geet.
Rahul: 22 years old. Adored by men and fancied by all women in the town. Handsome and egotistical. Wants to make Geet his because of her beauty. There is something off about him that no one has discovered yet.
More Characters will be introduced later on.
