Chapter 53

Daddi Maa: Addi tell me which hospital u r gonna go ? (Daddi Maa was ready to reach place as soon as possible)

Addi: Daddi Maa plz wait let us check which hospital is near to us..(he was unable to giv location)

But before Addi could say more constable interrupted him.

Constable: Sir Jeevan hospital

Constable had received all information from nearst check post about hospital.So that they could reach as soon as possible n Addi getting this information passed it to Daddi

Daddi: theek hai betay hamare Maan aur Geet k sath ra-he-a ...apke uper hai sabh jab tak hum pahunch nahi jaate.(shhe was about to cry)

Addi: Daddi Maa main hu na aap fikar mat kijiye

From one side he was giving support to injured Maan who was about to b unconscious holding Geet in his lap.

Maan:Geet utho…baby needs Papa…baby needs Maa…Baby needs Papa...baby needs Maa (To keep himself awake he was repeating same line.)

But at some distance from hospital there was jam…due to any accident..hit between two cars..no big problem was there jst drivers of both cars were fighting n people all around were enjoying their fight…Even SSP tried to clear road.But nothing happened.Every passing moment was taking Geet n Maan to danger.

Maan shouted: Damn clear the road…my wife is dying..jaane do humme (holding Geet tightly Maan was crying aloud)

Addi came out n ran toward accident site…he himself was trying to find a way.But no effect on people.He ran toward Jeep again to check Maan n Geet.But Maan was not there…he saw Maan running taking Geet in his lap toward hospital…Constable was with him to guide.

Addi: Maan Sir rukiye (he also ran behind him)

Addi chased Maan n when he reached near to him..he asked to giv Geet in his lap.But he refused n after ten minutes they were at hospital Gate...

Constable ran to bring stretchers.Maan found Geet breathing heavily...When hospital staff moved out to attend Maan n Geet..Daddi n Rano also came to know about them.Geet was put on stretcher but Maan refused to b at stretcher.He was running side by Geet.

Daddi shouted looking at both totally red.

Daddi: Maan...Geet hamare bachchay...

Rano: Doctor hamare bachcho ko bacha lijiye (looking at doctor Rano busted in tears as she was running with Maan holding Geet's hand.)

Doctor had already been informed about Maan n Geet so he knew who they were.

Dr Khanna:Nurse Mrs Khuraana ko jaldi operation theater 2 main le jaayo quick n Dr Rekha had made all arrangements for emergency Cesarean

Dr Sharma also came there n asked ward boys to focibly put Maan to stretcher.But he was not ready to leave her.

Rano:Maan chod dejiye Geet ko..apki haalat dekh kar mujhe aur daar lag raha hai (She tried to move Maan away)

After some time Maan left Geet n she was taken to OT 2 ..he was loosing his senses...

Maan: Maa...meri Geet...(he looked at Rano n was about to fell when Addi held him n Maan was also taken to operation theater 4 jst in front of OT 2

Chapter 53 (ii)

After some time Dr Rekha came out much worried .

Dr :Geet Ji ki haalat bahut critical hai…hum Cesarean karne ja rahhe hai …we tried our best to control bleeding but no improvement.(she cleared)

Rano:To kya doctor meri beti theek to ho jaaygi…aur uska bacha…donno ko bacha lejiye (she begged)

Dr:Geet ji unconscious hai humme dar hai comma main na chali jaaye..jab kissi emergency main Cesarean karna padde to we always go for general anesthesia as it takes less time to make patient unconscious..Geet ji to pehle he unconscious hai..aur ho sakta hai is process main wo coma mai na chali jaaye n regional anesthesia dete hai to it ll take much time…so condition ko dekhte hue we hav to go for general anesthesia..plz sign these papers…(n after taking Daddi Maa's signature on declaration this she moved in again)

Maan's surgery had been performed n doctor had given him stitches at side of stomach .Due to severe blood loose..he was also critical

He had been shifted to ICU.Geet's Cesarean was still running.Daddi first went to see Maan but she was not permitted to enter .So she came back

Daddi: Kya ho raha hai hamare sath..hamare bachchy kab tak dard sahe-gay…Maan unko to pehle he dusri jindgi milli thi..aur aab jin-ho-ne unko jindgi di wo khud zindgi se lad rahi hai…Hamare ghar ka chiraag wo is duniya main aane se pehle he….(she couldn't say more n busted in tears)

Rano: Manji chup kar jaa-a-ea aap he hosla har jaa-a-gi to hamara kya hogaa(she consoled Daddi but from inside she had been totally broken)

Daddi: Rano kitni derr ho gayi..abhi tak kush nahi bata rahe

After 1 hour nurse came out .

Daddi: Nurse kaisi hai hamari Geet aur hamara bacha..(she said in much excited state to know condition)

Nurse : Geet ji ko Beta hua hai ..per.(she stopped)

Rano:per kya nurse (she shouted)

Dr Rekha came to them

Dr: Geet !!! she is in coma

Daddi: What doctor…aab kya hoga (she held Dr's hands)

Dr: Don worry we hav to observer things for 24-48 hours agar hosh aa gaya to theek.otherwise it gonna b worse..

Nurse came out with Baby boy n handed him to Daddi

Daddi hugged him tightly n kissed him.Baby opened his eyes n then started to cry

Daddi: Hamara bacha ..aap fikar mat kijiye apke Maa Papa theek ho jaa-a-gay jaldi ..fir hum ghar jaa-e-gay..aap darna mat apki baddi Daddi aur apki Nanni Maa hai na apke sath (she was crying aloud..kissing baby)

Rano took baby from Daddi n made her to sit.Nurse came to take baby for check up.

Rano:nahi main tumko hamare bachchy ko aise nahi ley jaane dungi…tumhara kya patta hamare bachy ko kush kar do (Baby started to cry…n Rano held him more tightly)

she was not able to speak properly when Geet was going to b shifted in room.. Rano looking at Geet started to shout n cry aloud .Addi controlled her n also made her sit becoz nobody could go inside ICU

Addi: Chachi ji aap baby ko mujhe dejiye main jaata hu aur doctor se baat karke baby ko bhi nursey ki jagah room main he shift karne ko request karta hu…Geet k sath…mujhe per to yakeen hai na apko( he spread his arms in front of Rano to take baby)

Rano: Addi..aap khyal rakho-gay na hamare bachy ka…Addi sabh kho diya tha maine barson pehle..bas Geet he thi mere pass..Maan ko paakar lagga sabh fir se mil gaya hai…per fir se dar lag raha hai..is nanhi se jaan ko kush ho gaya to…isne to abhi apni Maa ka dhudh bhi nahi piya aur Pita uski bahon ka saparsh wo bhi nahi paya (tears rolled down to her cheeks…)

Daddi :Rano hamare Raj Kawar ko de dijiye Addi ko…wo khayal rakhay-gay…inka (she took baby from Rano n gave him to Addi)

Doctor after considering situation n due to unknown fear of Rano n Daddi permitted to keep baby in front of them

Next Morning

Maan regained consciousness.He heard conversation of two nurses.

Nurse 1: Mr Khuraana bhi bach gaye aur bacha bhi…

Nurse 2: per Mrs Khuraana k sath achcha nahi hua.

Maan:Meri Geet..mera bachcha..(he jumped from bed removing drip n throwing lif supporting system )

when things fell hospital staff came inside.He was uncontrollable. Maan ran outside. But ward boys not let him to move out of ICU

Maan: Meri Geet kahan hai ..mera bacha(he fixed his feet on floor when staff tried to take him back he resisted )

Daddi: Maan kya kar rahhe hai aap beta ..apki haalat theek nahi hai..(nurse had informed Daddi so she came there )

Maan: Daddi meri Geet kahan hai…aur mera baby (he shouted with full force looking at Daddi )

Daddi: Beta Geet theek hai..aur apka beta bhi…(she took his face in her hands)

Maan: Meri Geet...Mera beta…mera bacha..…Daddi (he again became unconscious lik after getting assurance from Daddi his mind came to normal state…Dr gav injection n as they wanna keep Maan unconscious due to his mental condition)

Baby n Maan were out of danger..Even baby was pre mature but not that much so his health was better.Maan was unconscious but his physical condition was okey..jst mental condition was matter to worried at.

Geet she became the real victim of circumstances.Doctors had already decided to keep Maan unconscious ..but Geet she was in same state even after 36 hours.

In Doctor Khanna's cabin

Dev was here after all formalities at police station n he had given statement against his mother.Now he was discussing Maan n Geet's case with Dr Khanna,Dr Rekha n Dr Sharma.

Dr Khanna: Dev …apke bhai sahib aur apka nephew both r out of danger..but real thing to b worried at is Geet ji…

Dev: Dr.why she is not regaining conciousness…kya hai aisa…k apka treatment bhi asar nahi kar raha…agar Geet theek na hue to sabh bikhar jaa-a-ga…hamara pura Ghar..hamare rishte…aur mere bro unki to saan-say apni Geet k naam se chalti hai…aur hamara chotta sa bacha usko uski Maa ki sabse jayada jaroorat hai…aapko jo karna hai…kijiye don worry about cost….(he requested n begged to do things fast)

Dr Rekha: Mr Khuraana plz calm down…treatment main koi bhi problem nahi hai..we r giving our best even consulting other specialists also...But Geet ji k case main real reason physical to hai he..I mean bleeding in this stage of pregnancy but usse bhi jayada..her mental condition…I m sorry its ur family matter but yeh bhi sach hai k jo torture Geet ji k sath hua hai..uska itna sadma lagga hai k wo apni weakness aur mental condition ki wajah se comma main challi gayi..(she gave real reason)

Dev: No Doc no need to say sorry…jo hua hai uska sabko pata hai……But Geet's condition is more important.

Before they could discuss more Nurse came running Maan was out of control again after he had come out of medicinal effect.
