Saw glimpses...had to change the channel.

Suffice to say GURTI remain (and will remain) the epitome of perfect chemistry and Kurbaan Hua is the perfect example of that chemistry.

KH was perfect!!!! Perfecttt!!!

It has now become a benchmark for me when coming across any other show having a passionate dance sequence. *sigh* No one matches up. No matter how hard they try. Lolz

And your translation Ustaad is so awesome!! The flavor of the original is still there yet you have created something so unique. I should be used to it by now...but you always leave me in awe!! Truly, where our creativity comes to a close, you begin anew.

Awww Deej, what have u done...here I'm trying to help this song, dance, show fade away from my memory and now it all came rushing back. Translation was brilliant

For me, there couldn't have been a hotter/passionate dance sequence on indian telly.

I never liked this song...hated the film n after watching the video of this song, i was like are they trying to copy someone ????
But...then ghsp happened...n things changed.
When i saw the promo...i was waiting for the epi like anything...n them the magic was created.
Gurti gave a mindbogling performance. I was speechless.
And now when somebody is trying hard to recreate the kurban hua magic, i feel like pulling my hair...i wanna say one thing, SPARE US...PLZZZ...!!

Wow I could do a critical appreciation of the song. It is one of the most beautiful lyricism(sp?gr?) pieces of late.

I think I hated the song bcoz of the Kareena factor - but Maneet was all that it took for that to be thrown outta the window.

I cannot imagine a better way to have a lovestory to begin. I can't get over how aptly the song fit into the entire Maneet sequence.

Whoooshhh - reading a post of urz after ages. Refreshed!

This post, the song , its translation, revived such wonderful memories of those days ! oh my god, I miss them soo much !

I cannot seem to even stop thinking about the Maan that was, proud, arrogant, cold, angry, gorgeous, suave, his principles carved in stone.. and all to fall for Geet.. my god.

and yes, I do agree , it was the strange connect through the past which they shared that shone through the song...

That angry sexy man, forcing her into that passionate dance, unable to help himself against the pull he felt for her... what chemistry, what steps, what grace, what emotion in every second of it.

The dance raises my heartbeat every single time I see it. and the best part , the most stunning and riveting, yet shocking part for me , is when Geet firmly removes his hands from her waist and he seems only then to realize what he has been doing.

That part just brings the entire dance and tension to a crescendo.

. will never get over this one. over this Maan and Geet.

very nice post.thanks...kurban hua was indeed a classic.the intensity,the awesome chemistry ,the brilliant dance moves,and the chemistry of maaneet were just brilliant..no other couple can ever match them.miss them so much..maaneet will always be the best...
