Re the lawyer: No personal bias. In my defence, Maan's father is a lawyer.😆 And, the combination of lawyer and police working together on cases always brings to mind scenes from Mera Saaya of a cop and lawyer collaborating constructively in a case (rarely seen in Hindi movies).

So, I was merely curious if the trio knew each other back then and worked together or whether all three were involved in the case, not necessarily on behalf of the prosecution, or none of the above.

Ah, the mere fact that each of the killed parents supposedly had an affair with an as yet unidentified person should definitely not have led me down the path of thinking that the Bhagats and the Guhas had anything in common.😉

And, aren't we enjoying the labyrinth and its dead-ends? [I wonder when IF will introduce an emoticon to depict one pulling one's hair. I'm sure we will use it frequently while reading Eternal Return and commenting.]😆

I usually read books in one go and this wait is KILLING me! It's probably a good lesson in patience though. 😉

The updates are getting better and better and by that I mean more and more confusing. 😕

I had this nagging thought eating at my brain earlier, ...that Maan and Geet's mothers were the same person. I was even going to beg you to tell me that wasn't the case. But then I went back and realised they are too close in age for that to be possible so I heaved a sigh of relief.

Maan's gut seems to be running away with him...

Even though Emily presents other viable possibilities, his "gut" is stuck on the child accomplice.

And it was his "gut" that guided him to those old case files.

Now it was also his gut that said it was "him" in the very first chapter.

What I wonder is if one gut feeling links to the other and if gut is code for subconscious.

I am sorry if I don't make much sense. I am trying to sound incredibly intelligent and clearly failing miserably! 😆

Now enough of Maan torturing himself with the nightmares. Geet you have to do something about it. Maan has given you enough footage that can make you point towards the missing link that he is trying you to point at out.

Nonetheless its getting intense day by day.
