After few minutes of silence Geet asked Maan ' You were supposed to have a date with Sameera? Don't you want to go there?' Maan ' No and how do you know about that?' Geet ' uhh actually I met Sameera in the mall and she told me about this.' Now Maan knew that what she was upto. Maan saw that Geet was fidgeting with her duptta Maan ' Nervous?' Geet nodded in yes. Maan 'I know you will do great.' Geet ' I don't know these are my first clients and I' Maan didn't let her finish and said 'Geet you are a strong women and you will do great. Trust me.' Geet smiled and nodded Before Maan could say anything his phone started to rang and it was from Sameera.
Sameera was boiling with anger when she didn't find Maan anywhere in hotel. She even went to his office but she didn't find there. Having no other option she called him and blasted at him. Where the hell are you? I know you must be with that down market girl.' This made Maan really angry he excused himself from their and went out and he honestly told Sameera that He is finished with this relation and that he will tell dadima also.
When he came back to the cabin and sat in front of Geet. After a while Geets assistant sid came in with a smile on his face which off course Maan didn't like. Sid informed her about the clients. Geet got up and was waiting for Maan. Maan ' You go I will come in a minute.' Geet nodded and left for conference room and Maan went to sid and told him that he will not work here anymore. He called his sectary who just joined today. He told her that she will work in Handa constructions from tomorrow on wards.
Maan entered the conference room and saw that Geet was nervously standing there in front of clients but as soon as she saw Maan she gained confidence and started to explain the clients about the project. He was really impressed by the way she explained them each and everything in detail. How well prepared she was. This shows how determined she was about bringing this company to its higher rank again. He also noticed that how confidence she was.
Clients were really impressed and happy. They immediately final the deal and said that they were really happy to do this deal with Handa constructions. When clients and the rest of the staff left after congratulating her on her first success Maan came closer to Geet. Maan ' Congratulation Geet' Geet ' Thanks Maan.' Maan was looking into her eyes and Geet was looking at his. Geet was so lost in his eyes that she didn't realize that she was now against the wall. As Geet touched the wall she came back to her sense. Geet ' It's late we should go Maan' saying that she was about to go but Maan blocked her between him and the wall and brought his face closer to Geets. Now his warm breath was fanning on her face. Maan 'Look at me Geet.' Geet looked in his eyes which were filled with love and care for her. Maan ' I have a good news for you.' Geet looked at him with confused expression Maan 'I am not engaged anymore.' Geet's heart was filled with happiness and there was a spark and twinkle in her eyes as if she got the most precious thing in the world.She immediately shuddered those thoughts and asked ' But How?' Maan ' I just broke up with her. I don't want to marry her.' Geet ' she must be feeling hurt. You shouldn't have done that.' Maan ' I did it for you Geet only for you.' He came more closer to her and just slightly brushed his lips with her. Geet closed her eyes at his closeness. She was expecting a kiss but that didn't happen. 'Open your eyes sweetheart' She immediately snap opened her eyes and looked at Maan who was leaving. She could feel her cheeks being heat up now. What was she thinking?
'Come lets go Geet its getting late.' said Maan before leaving the conference room.
Maan and Geet reached at Geets place. Maan 'Good Night Geet' and Kissed her forhead. Geet 'Good Night Maan' saying that she was about to go when Maan caught her hand and said 'My Good Night Kiss' She kissed his cheek and ran away from there.
Geet was feeling really restless. She was twisting and turning in her bed. Sleep was nowhere near her. She was craving for Maan. His kiss. How badly she wanted him to kiss her. She didn't know why she was so restless today. She opened the said table drawer and took out sleeping pills from it she ate the sleeping pills and then fall asleep.
Maan was going through the same phase. He wanted to kiss her but he didn't because he wanted Geet to take start now. The sparkle and twinkle that he saw in her eyes when he told her that he was no more engaged was something he always wanted to see in those eyes. Now he knew what he have to do next.
