I don't think GC was uncomfortable. He was pretending to rise in the air hearing such praise. Didn't you see the smile and the look of pride in his face..He was basically.doing the the 'collars' up' act that we all do when we hear a friend praising us..

They were all in a jokey mood perhaps to try and get over their sadness about the show ending.

It was all done in a spirit of fun.
