Ok I am back! And wow what an episode it was! I loved the confrontation between Maan and Geet but first things first.

I have to say, even though Mohinder acts like a sher in front of his family when it comes to Geet's future and her remarriage, on which I appreciate his attitude, of course, when it comes to the police he is just as much of a spineless coward as the rest of them. He just told Geet that he would help her get justice, shouted at Brij and now when the police comes, instead of asserting that Geet is in fact at home and explaining her problem, we see him apologising to the police because Geet is a child and might have "mistakenly" called them? Disappointed, I have to say. We are getting hints of how alone Geet really is! And Darjee! Yes, clearly the simplest solution is just to pass this "museebath" on to some other man. God forbid we should treat Geet like anything other than a inanimate object!

Again we get a glimpse of this trait that Maan and Geet share of wanting what is right above all social constructs. Geet, who refused to let go of her dupatta when she was being chased by goons, now voluntarily takes it off and uses it to reach a higher end. This is similar to the resolve she had when she took off her suhaag ki nishani. She has learned that all these things are in the mind and in the face of absolutes of right and wrong these details don't matter. (Like Paro I have to admire her dupatta's unerring aim!). Maan as well, is a business tycoon and does something completely "below" him, ie breaking and entering into someone's house, in order to prove what is right and get his dues.

Now to the confrontation! What a cracking exchange! I loved their mutual loathing for the opposite sex and the sharp dialogues through which it was expressed. Barry, take a bow for this whole exchange. If Maan makes it his full time preoccupation to hate women, Geet is no less hateful of men now. And I loved how she just took control of the situation when she put her sharth forward. She is really treating the land and the signature as hers, rather than acknowledging Darjee or the other men of her family. And I love her scheming ways to get the Dalal's contact information. She snaps Maan out of his ego trip and how!

So this was the first trip-fall-catch-eyelock scene! And Maan is already lost in her eyes? This guy is a goner! I think he was drawn by the vulnerability in her eyes in contrast to the fire he had just seen. Maan later says that she speaks through her eyes and there is no better evidence of that than this episode!

That last scene too my breath away! The way Geet was looking at Maan with fiery defiance in her eyes. Her family members were drabbling on, trying to placate Maan but he was listening to the one, clear, honest voice in the room and that was Geet's eyes! I loved the power in that expression and how Maan just could not take his eyes off of her. For the first time he looked concerned, a reaction that not even the roaring Brij could get out of him. OMG! Her eyes! 👏

Oh wow! I actually only vaguely knew about this proposition of Brij. Once again we see him treating Geet like chattle and trying to pass her off to someone else. We will have to see on Monday if Maan's kanjoosi gets the better of his principles...🤣 On a serious note, of course it doesn't and I think this will once again highlight Maan's inherent respect for women and his ridicule of imbeciles like Brij. 😡

Thanks for all of u who are all analysing. All are doing fab job. Keep it up. It is like revisiting our days again. I started seeing geet from July 2010 onwards. I had not seen hoshiarpur days. Did not have heart to gothrough geets dilemma. Now thanks to all of u i started seeing this. But even then i Dont want to see geet with devil. Skippedthose epis. Now i realise the depth of geets agony and our cvs can turn devil into saint. I canter digest this. Main benefit was got to see hot msk in casuals. Kudos to both of them. What chemistry. Now looking forward to more detailed analysis. I have a request to jyo. Since she was a memner of devils den will u please. Give link to earlier dens once the epistles come there. Please zoo tjat we can relive those heady moments

i am yet to see the episode but i can write abt it as i have seen this paricular epi n no. of times just for the final eyelock n of course their confrontation n d store room. Maaneet were so explosive n d confrontation scene. And that eyelock! Both Maan n Geet don't let go of each other's eyes. evn when mohinder comes in between, both had eyes for each other. they really had a conversation going on between them, in anger may be but it was only between those two. Maan's helpless reaction to geet, n his anger becos of dat was beautifully portrayed by GC. Dis guy shows such sensitive emotions so well, that we are all spoiled. no wonder we are unable to watch anyone else.

And Geet, she was fiery in this episode! her defiance inspite of dominating family is a delight to watch. even i was disappointed with Mohinder. inspite of his love for his daughter, he seems to give in to Darji. i felt that evn n early epi when he goes to police station to bring geet, he doesn't evn hug her when darji stops him. what respect will a daughter have for her father, if he is so spineless!

And d family seems to see geet just a burden. how eager are they to unload it to any tom, dick n harry. what do they know abt Maan, other than police telling he is a rich guy. brij trying to get geet married to him is really too much. (though we all wd have loved it) i mean Maan (if he was not d hero) might be any kind of person. why is the family again marrying geet without evncheckign d guy. they seem to just repeat their mistakes. weird family! brij is brainless but what abt daarjji?

i finally saw the episode (lost count of no.of times)

Brij-Maan eyelocks are equally powerful! But Maan s always d winner in these two confrontations but in Maaneet's, geet emerges d winner (most of the times)

DD looked so ethereal in these episodes. what a clear n innocent looking face she has. in that eyelock scene with maan, she looked like hum aapke hain madhuri look, particulary of mayini mayi song. dat eyes was so powerful n expressive! what an eyelock! it was way too hot than any intimate scene! d writer, director n actors everyone must be given credit!!! it is difficult to duplicate this intensity.

how d heck cd those ppl make her look like a bag lady with bad hair. that horrible wig was so bad that it spoiled her looks. and her tents!!! no comments on it. in these episodes, the salwars were simple but fitting n her hairstyle, just a clean braided look. evn in office track she had one strand of hair artificially hanging which turned evn worse post marriage.

And GC looks so handsome! dat pink shirt, light stubble and dat attitude!!! wow! MSK's attraction was not just his looks but his attitude too! we can't get it back becoz MSK is not here anymore other than our laptops!!! 😭😭😭😭
