This episode marks one of the issue of abandoning a girl in the airport alone after a fake marriage. With this dev's crime increases by one more number. First it was to marry a girl 2nd time illegally. taking the whole property,now abandoning her alone. Episode 19 is the end of their evil plan to abandon geet,taking her jewellary money everything of dev culprit has done a worst sin to a women. the airport scene is pretty painful today when den gets coffee for geet after adding a sleeping prill into that and sees that the cup goes to geet. Geet finds strange & hasitant to drink from that cup so Nt asst her and asks indirectly to dev whether coffee is ok or not. whether suger is enough. Dev & Nt's evil smirk just getting me more furious on that family. Pummy is seen nervous with all the discussion. she try to stop geet while drinking the coffee but Nt manage it smartly and take her to washroom. dev spills coffee on geet and in the wash room she has that reeling sensation. try to come out into the caffeteria in search of dev's family . they manage to escape with a evil smirk on their faces.With this episode the conspiracy laid by dev ends. Atlast dev abandons geet in the airport & manage to leave her alone half conscious in the airport. . geet thinks they have left to canada .but here they did use a gr8 idea so they stayed in delhi on that day so that when airrport officials check the travellers list they cannot find their names. Geet in a half concious state search the airport. take the help of the officials but she gets no clue . She makes hell lot of request to let her go but the authorities don't agree to her .
In hoshiyarpur everybody miss geet. . A phone call comes and cut . DD's acting and tears during the chaos in the airport seemed to be real & perfect. FIRST ISSUE WAS FAKE MARRIAGE,SECONG ISSUE WAS LOOTING HER BY ALL MEANS AND THIRD ABANDONING HER AND FOURTH IS FORCING HER TO ABORT THE CHILD,FIFTH IS HONOR KILLING.

@ Z We all do share an intense hatred for Dev and maybe we should over the weekend think of innovative ways of torturing him.😈 But I think Geet's fainting spell is bcos of the tablet Dev gives her in the coffee. It is too early for pregnancy. Today since it was Geet and Maan's marriage anniversary I was watching some of the VMs based on that and the expression of love on their faces was so mesmerising. It was like a balm for the wounded soul.I would definitely recommend that those who feel low after watching today's and tomorrows episode see it. Though Dev did not get the punishment he deserved at least we can feel good that Geet got the happiness she deserved which you can see in Maan and Geet's eyes.The adoring looks they give each other gave me goosepimples. Really meaningful and beautiful scenes of the whole series.

Btw guys .. you can just tell that the original team was really straightforward and not ones to stretch or waste time on anything other than the main story .. I mean within 19 episodes Geet has met Dev, Maan, gotten "married" and also ditched. I've never seen such fast-paced story telling in other shows to date. Kudos to them. And one thing I also mention all the time is that if we really look at it .. Maan and Geet fell in love pretty darn fast. Within a few months they were in love, and expressing it as well as getting ready to get married. And from the beginning marriage has always been a background theme in the show.. from the beginning Geet's proposal from Pammi and all came .. and when she went to Delhi .. after a few weeks we had the entire Fake Fiance track and so Maaneet were already tied to each other in that bond .. and then that changed to Real Engagement .. followed by IP track where he fills her maang .. again a form of marriage.. then their real marriage.. and they STAYED married to EACH OTHER till the last episode -- a first if I might add in Indian Television. Thank goodness we didn't have love triangles or 2nd, 3rd, 4th marriages -- and its insane when the SAME couple gets married more than once. So, that part was kept sane and I am glad it did.

God! Dev just couldn't let it go could he? 😡😡

He had to kiss Geet and tell her he LOVED her just before he heartlessly abandoned her? What disgusting pleasure did he get out of playing this game till the last possible moment? It makes be want to gag and wring his neck at the same time. But in some ways I think Dev is kind of psychotic as we see him here. He has a huge inferiority complex with Maan and is now also angry with him, his wife thinks he is useless so he is feeling pretty insecure, which clearly manifests as angry outbursts. So I guess Geet's trust and innocence and her attitude of him being some sort of demigod to her must be so appealing to him that he can't resist milking it to the last minute.

Pammi and Kamya both are a little loopy aren't they? Pammi seems to be practically hyperventilating at the thought of what they are going to do to Geet, with good reason of course. They could have really explored her being the second wife of Khurana saab and maybe seeing herself in Geet, who would now be abandoned and neglected.

I have watched the scene where Geet runs around the airport in a half-conscious state and I have to say it was one of DD's finest moments on the show. Her sheer panic and helplessness was devastating. However, it was truly a glimpse of her never say die attitude that she doesn't give up looking for them until she is unconscious and even then, the minute she gains consciousness she shouts for Dev again. 😭 This is not a girl to take no for an answer or resign herself to a bad situation. She will get to the bottom of things before she accepts anything. I love that about her character and that trait stays pretty constant as well.

I don't know if this symbolism is really corny but when Dev cuts the call from Geet's family, it sort of symbolised to me, him literally cutting her off from them, leaving her completely alone in the world. His act makes it impossible for her to go back to her family and he also abandons her.

@Mila: On Geet meeting Maan right after losing her virginity, I think it showed that he was the one who would bring out the individual and the fighter in her. She came out looking for Dev, because she felt lost without him, a sort of dependence, and she met Maan who provoked her to stand tall and defend herself, without anyone's help. It showed that he was different from all the men in her life and would be the one to snap her out of the vicious cycle of male dependency. Does that make sense?

@Z: I totally agree on the pace of the show! They did not waste a single minute of screentime on fillers or unnecessary things. These episodes are so well made that way, with each one being a stand alone master piece! I find it so hard to watch other shows regularly for that very reason. There is usually one good episode and a whole lot of fillers and it goes like that. So even shows that I like I usually watch the weekend marathon things while doing other stuff, just to keep up. But here you couldn't blink your eyes for fear of missing something, each scene was so action packed!

i'm a person who can't bear the torture on women more than once... i started watching GHSP only after the office track came and that too sharing the remote with my hubby Jaan who used to be back early frm work those days. the craze to keep the monopoly over the remote came later.
i am kind of relieved that i did miss the early episodes ...god knows i wud have cried buckets ten...even now knowing what will follow doesn't stop the accelerated heartbeat...
Geet was such a sweet simple girl...the depiction of her character brought out with such clarity...
one can easily identify herself with this character thru DD's potrayal of it... the shyness of a new bride, the lack of confidence, the constant looking for reassurance, yet the concern for Pammi.
yet our sherni is there in the back ground in the way she manages to find a way to reach her husband...that dorment fighting spirit...
watching dev makes ur blood boil knowing what outcome came of his treachery. why did he have to say 'i love u?" and make her dream more even when he knew he was going to leave her???😡
