Jyo, she is asking why not campaign for SP rather than SD? After all it belongs to Star group only and is the channel with the largest reach.

@Opti:Here many hv met the channel people in person but not the likes of gul or gorky in person who r from PH ...so after meeting in person majority of the matured bunch of people hv drawn this conclusion that somehow the channel was not happy with the way PH dealt with the whole product ..yes they did ask the PH to make changes here and there but in return the PH hv not shown enough professionalism and same issues r also being faced at present by the other show on star plus where again the channel is upset about few things with the PH ...so yes a diff of opinion where both channel and PH r involved but here its the later which will hv to show thier professionalism and a bit of compromise too since they r the new ones in showbiz and not the channel ...

I have heard from many that in daily soaps the channel always overrides the PH when there is a difference of opinion. That is the reason they have one of their persons in the shows. I don't know about how much of that authority the channel used if they were serious about rectifying the decay in the show. If the PH is new in the business, wouldn't it have been easier for the channel to make them tow their line or threaten them with ouster? We have been witnessing a decay in the content for the last 9 months and the channel did nothing. A simple demand like ousting MP from the show was not met. The channel could have always said that either get that man out or I'll terminate the contract with you. Instead we saw them giving extensions after extensions even as that dumbo stayed on. That is why I do not buy the channel's version.

About the younger bunch and thier emotions ,well even if one goes and tell them there is 50-50 chance ,can we stop the millions who r spread not just on IF or FB but in real world also as what we gather after going to star one office is that daily people r coming in huge numbers with request ..so how many r we going to stop ?? ..One can call it stupidity or madness or insanity or whatever the experts will feel ,.but the truth is the mass hysteria which one is witnessing can never be ignored and never be stopped here...it might automatically stop with passing time depending on whether actors move to other shows or not 😊

I felt the matured lot can be more circumspect instead of giving them hopes. Anyway that is just me I guess, the grand old lady of the forum who is out of sync with the rest.

aftr so many requests channel shd come out with their stand. they cant be undecided abt their serials n star desh.

d saddest part is we are not evn allowed a proper closure. we are made to watch crappy episode with maaneet blink n miss role. poor GC n DD, how much they lived for these chrs and look at the way they are being treated. i really curse this PH, i have never seen an unprofessional PH. our southern PH are any day better. recently i read an article how PH in south are employing expensive computer graphics to serials. ppl are willing to invest money in their products unlike some ungrateful ppl. as someone rightly said, the high they rise, they are going to fall fr there.
