Honestly they must be stupid because I for one am not bowing down nor am I stopping to fight because this is the first time I'm actually FIGHTING to keep a show on. I would NEVER do this had I not seen the potential and talent that the leads have. I never fought when Kis Desh was ending, I never fought when Raja Ki Ayegi Baraat was ending, I never fought when Bidaai was ending .. never ever ever. I was a little upset with Kis Desh only because a lot of the loops were kept open and they ended it abruptly BUT I never saw people fighting for the show like Geetians are and nor was I motivated to do so.

But the fact that I am fighting for these two means something! It means that they deserve better and I will make sure that I atleast TRY and give them what they deserve because clearly these two do not want it to end as it has become their life just like it has for us.

Whoever that "piper" was trying to make us THANK the CVs and forget about GHSP must realize that we are not immature fans. We are all mature, sensible people who are doing this for a REASON! If we need to thank anyone it is the original team who gave us the glory days where we actually ENJOYED the show and where the leads were treated with proper respect and the show was given CARE, ATTENTION and AFFECTION. No way in hell am I going to sit here and thanx the present bunch of morons hell bent on serving us crap so that we hang up the towel and bid goodbye as if this show means nothing to us. The joke is on THEM if they think we'd fall for their trap.

Kudos to everyone going to the offices in person and speaking to executives directly. Thankyou so much for making this effort on behalf of all those people who are not able to considering they live outside of India. We are still trying our best sitting halfway across the world by contacting these people through phone and emails.

HALLA BOL guys this fight isn't over.

PS: It saddens me that Ekta Kapoor is using GurTi for her finale. If this rumour is true then look at this .. even Ekta realizes who cashes in popularity. Our show doesn't get a proper closure whereas she's making sure that if her show is ending .. its ending in style. I still remember Rajan Shahi's ending for Bidaai in all its glamour where he invited all the stars...

and here the pathetic PH who has long back washed its hands off of this apparent "burden" of a show cannot show some form of compassion for those loyal fans who stuck by them through thick and thin. Heck they couldn't even be thoughtful towards Gurmeet & Drashti who gave it their all .. spent every living breathing moment living Maan & Geet and providing us with moments to cherish forever. This is how they repay them? Bleeping BLEEPERS!

Sure if you feel I need to thank someone I shall -- the ORIGINAL team. Right down from the spot boy, to the dedicated actors, to the creative teams! Everyone of them from the original team deserves our heartfelt gratitude and thanks because they very well deserved it. Without them we wouldn't have gotten this motivation to fight because we see potential in the actors only through the hardwork of the entire team involved. But if I am being told that I am being forceful and a lunatic or a maniac because I am sitting here FIGHTING for my show then I am sorry but you are sorely mistaken.

We are not fighting just because we are greedy for more of GurTi/Maaneet. No! I believe we are fighting because we as a loyal fangroup was left hanging in our show's most crucial stages. Would we not feel a bit disheartened that a show that was going SO great is ending the way it is? Would we not want to fight so that we are able to feel the joy of watching our favourite jodi onscreen for a longer time? As far as I know it is unanimous that people feel the downfall of the show started from early this year. As soon as the marriage ended and the Honeymoon track started we (although we didn't realize it) were entering danger zone and into a state which would get worse each passing day. It didn't hit us till Holi that something really REALLY wrong was going on behind-the-scenes.

I will tell you one thing. I feel that the story of Maan and Geet is incomplete ever since Maula Mere Maula. That episode started and ended a lot of things. After Noel left we had a mismatch of events which led to Maaneet's first big fight after which nothing substantial happened in their lives that would allow them to grow (other than realize that they can't live without each other because that is what they realized by the end of the IP track) .. we have all heard that people like Swati had a lot of tracks and ideas in mind but unfortunately there were too many people not allowing the creatives to have their freedom and right over what they wanted to do... too many restrictions on their creativity led them to leave the show and what did we get soon after? Change in creative teams and lack of homework eventually resulting to to change in casting and overall storyline. Nothing was handled with as much care after that because the strength of the original team had broken due to their separation.

Neither did Geet ever receive proper justice, nor did Dev receive proper punishment, and nor did Maan ever reveal his dark past. After NTs suicide attempt she disappeared for a while and so did Dev up until Maaneet's HM. All that happened in between was AA and mindless tracks all thanx to the absence of the original team who knew every detail about the show which the newer set of CVs didn't bother to look through.

And then the biggest downfall came when Mahesh entered the show. I still remember many people being scared at that point because they knew exactly what Mahesh was like and the possible disasters that would ensue if he came on board our show. Well they were right as ever because I think this is the WORST possible damage MP has managed to do to any show.

So .. now .. when we see the show ending .. and we see the deliberate sabotage happening to the show .. are we really going to sit here and say "great .. good knowin ya GHSP .. had a great journey with you and I shall miss you" when we clearly HAVEN'T had the greatest journey for over a year now? When we saw that we weren't being heard by the PH because it didn't WANT to listen to us .. but we see a ray of hope due to the channel .. then why would we NOT cash in on that opportunity? I would not be fighting if GC and DD came out to say they didn't want to continue with GHSP. Let them come out and say that and only then will I stop fighting because I will know that they have other plans. But if that's not the case then I don't see why I should stop and I don't need to be lectured on why I SHOULD stop. I don't need people telling me to be thankful for what I get and stay mum and let the PH do what it feels like because frankly I couldn't care less about what the PH thinks. The people who don't respect the fans sure don't deserve the respect or thanx of the fans in return.

We have been attached to these two from the beginning .. if we are here fighting for them it is because we love them .. NOT because we are lunatics like some people want to point out. If we want a season 2 it is NOT because we are selfish or insane .. it is because we would like to see these two getting their due -- at least as Maan and Geet -- one more time before they wrap up their GHSP journey with us. If I am not going to get a continuation of this season then I'd be ok with a second one. I feel like we haven't properly been able to enjoy Maaneet since March of this year because that is precisely when the major downfall started and a month or so before it the PH had lost interest. We slowly saw the deterioration of our show from the lack of sensible story writers to lack of costumes, lack of sets, etc. We were cheated IMO. I do not want to leave this show with at bitter taste in my mouth. If I have invested my time into the show as have the actors .. I don't think it is insane to ask for a favour to at least give us a proper ending and if you are hell bent on ruining even THAT then I would like a season 2 with ANOTHER PH so that we see some respect and attention given to the actors and the fans.

Sorry for going on and on like a broken record but it pains me to see that people mock us and our efforts. Oh and they gave the example of KMH? Well I don't think KMHians were upset when they started season 2. I also don't believe such damage and deliberate sabotage was done to the first KMH like it has been to GHSP. This is precisely why I want a second season if anything -- because the makers not only left the original story unfinished but also damaged it beyond compare to a state where you just don't know what you're watching anymore and only sticking on for the leads.

In the end even if I don't get a season 2 I'll be happy I tried but before that I really don't want people coming here and telling me I am insane for wanting to fight for my show. Why was this gyaan not given to people wanting a season 2 for KMH? They got what they wanted didn't they!? The entertainment industry is made to please the audience.. if we want something so bad they should realize why and should adhere to our requests because we're only asking for something that makes us happy. I don't see where I'm the culprit in all of this?

But I gotta agree with you .. at this point I will take even a dhaaba owner Maan who makes a living but wants to make it big someday and a rich Geet who falls in love with him if that's what they plan on showing me in season 2 because hey it'll be something DIFFERENT. Honestly I'm ok with this season ending because I don't think I want to tolerate anymore deliberate sabotage by the PH just so they can brush their hands off of the show 🤢 .. I'd rather they start afresh with a new story because then people will be more active, discuss more, have more INTEREST .. and .. well it'll be something new for Gurmeet & Drashti as well because they probably seem irritated with the lack of a proper storyline for the past year now. Because if you look at it .. every track MP started was disjointed .. none of his tracks CONNECT. When the original team was here every new "track" they brought in was a continuation of the previous and flowed right in. But MP .. with his Holi fight .. then Balwant Singh .. then Dev as MSK .. then Lucky's wrestling match .. then Daman's fraud ..then Bankruptcy (which I will say was the best because MP was absent and Barry handled) .. then ML .. then Comedy Circus ka Fight .. etc etc .. you see where I'm going with this? In between all of that .. the essential Maaneet story was lost somewhere and we got disjointed tracks but what kept us happy was that in each track a new phase in Maaneet's life was shown out of which they learned something .. perhaps the only good thing MP ever showed was the Santosh Nigham track in which Geet was shown strong -- mind you for only a little while because he needed to send Geet back to the kitchen as soon as possible ...

So .. if after that the season ends I'm ok because should it continue with the same writer, PH, and side cast .. you can never enjoy anything. At least with the new season you can have a new PH .. new writers .. MONEY to spend on sets, costumes and the like .. and a new story for Maaneet to be showcased in .. a story where there's no major social message (unless the new PH is willing to handle it properly unlike the "positivity-prone" PH we have at the moment 🤢) .. because the one thing that I HATE about this season is the fact that Dev is still present .. and is apparently romancing Nando (which happened today I read?) .. so yea .. don't think anyone wants that at this point ..

So best viable option: Season 2.
