@Mila: I loved your take! Poor Adi, he has to bear Maan constantly flirting with Geet and shouting at him. And now! They are going on an HM without him! But they say you take your anger out only on those you truly love. 😳🤣

I forgot to tell you in all the furour but I loved your take yesterday as well. I think you wrote it before reading what was happening so it was so nice and refreshing and not about the end of the show that it made me 😃. But then you also got into the ending discussion and I forgot to tell you.

Hahaha after all that Adi has had to go through what with Maaneet starting their romanshhh in front of him all the time ...I think he deserves to go on a Honeymoon with them .. what do you think? It'd be so much fun 🤣Z

Z, I completely agree. The only thing that has kept me hooked through all the highs and the lows is the way Maaneet understand each other completely and are so mature in the way they deal with their relationship and each other. You know what else? They almost never use the help of others to solve their MUs. It is always between the two of them, ultimately. Even though their biggest MU was over Dev, it really had nothing to do with Dev personally. It was more Maan being confused and angry at how Geet could, first help and then finally forgive Dev and not letting her explain herself properly. So it's not like Dev caused the MU. Maan's ego and Geet's lack of timely communication was the problem.

And I love how they show them talking things out most of the time. They had that mirror scene after Tumse Hi for the IP track, the gorgeous apology and what I think is one of their most beautiful conversations after the no SR fight (this was the first Maaneet scene I saw live that I watched over and over again) and then the letter scene in Amritsar. They have problems, figure out the solutions and like you said, learn and move forward. We can really see them growing with each fight they have and each hardship they face.

And their trust in each other is vital to this ability. In the end, their default feeling is trust and it takes a lot to shake that trust. Maan's dialogue will always remain a classic in defining this, when he said, all that sahi, galat, etc etc, ye sab khatam hota hain jahan humara rishta shuru hota hain. It shows their absolute trust in the other's decisions, and MSK's trust that Geet will never do anything wrong. Their relationship is really a rare and beautiful thing on TV.

Actually, the first episode I saw was the mu dikhai episode when Geet is being examined by Dadi's friends. I LOLed at the part when one of the aunties tells Maan he has forgotten her after becoming jawan. And MSK had to tear his eyes away from his radiant bride to awkwardly answer the fat aunty. 🤣

So I saw all the episodes where she was trying to seduce him, which where ahem ahem, wonderful in their own way. I think my first stomach flip for Geet came when she was dancing at night, and he was watching her while pretending to sleep and suddenly out of nowhere he grabs her and LOOKED at her and I was like. WHAT WAS THAT?! 😲 That was my introduction to MSK and then the apology was my induction into Maaneet. It was the first scene that I NEEDED to watch again and again. And then I started catching up with old episodes and I NEEDED to watch like EVERY scene again and again. 😆

And OMG. I love that fax scene. it was such a unique way to do such a poignant and emotional scene and I just love the way Geet phrased the double meaning of the fax and by the end the way they are looking at each other. My heart is racing just thinking about it. I agree with you about her eyes in that episode. There is something so vulnerable about her expressions. And it was perfect in contrast to Maan's complex insecurities about them being together. To Geet, it was so simple and that reflected in her eyes.

Hayeee Sammy you made me relive that episode.. omg wasn't Geet looking divine in that pink suit ?! 😍 (Back when the PH cared about the show and had money 😭) .. the way she threatens him over the phone to come or else LOL and then her getting ready .. then Mu Dikhai .. she looked so pretty with the dupatta over her head and then the way they were staring at each other when he came back from office .. OH .. MY... GAWD <3 LOL yea the aunties were so damn annoying ROFL! MSK was just thinking "SHUTUP and let me stare at my gorgeous wife!" 😆 and oh you started with this epi? Not bad.. considering Maaneet were looking so gorgeous beyond words in that epi ..
