Hmmm GC's views about marriage is opposite than mine ( who cares...right😆) and I don't think love is blind but for some people:Love is blindLove is deafLove is dumbso be it😉😆
he is married & he got married to his long-time gf...so it is enough sign for me that he values the sacred bonding of marriage...
i think his marriage to db is not at all a problem everyone has the rights to marry his loved one special person .but the way he spoke about marriage which i believe is very sacred and religious he said in a way that marriage is for society is that how he think after doing ramayan he should knowing ineer outer of ramayan and marriage is religious thing not a joke as he said it .u also think marriage is to please the society then i have nothing to say on this .u think what he meant was maturity oh gosh matured ppl will never speak about marriage like this telling marriage is to show we are together instead he would have said we married because we want to bond this friendship in to a sacred institute called marriage.
He is not belittling the sacred union of marriage in any way...all he is saying is that there is more to it. Just because two people are married does not mean they are happily married, you need to have a good relationship and understanding to make it work and just because you're married does not mean things have to change between the couple. As for society, all your comments just prove what he had to say. Anyway no point in analyzing this matter further as everyone's got their own way of thinking...I just think what he said was very sensible because to make a relationship work, it's not what status you give it but how the couple deals with one another once they're in it.
Thanx for sharing Tanu. Seems now these memories only will be with us as we will not be getting to see our beloved Maneet after 2 weeks.
